Fan Qianshi took a few quick steps back to keep his balance, but the wound was unusually painful and numbing. He felt as if countless ants were chewing off his flesh all at the same time. The demon did not follow on from her successful attack with a series of blows. Instead, she stood watching him with a satisfied smile. “Fan Qianshi, you once promised to be my disciple forever, but I have changed my mind about that. You are being my servant instead.”

The Demon looked at him attentively as she mented, “It is useless. The poison has no cure. Be prepared to serve, my boy.”
“What kind of poison is this?” Fan Qianshi started panting.
“It is known as the Eternal Love Potion,” the Demon answered ironically. “This poison was supplied by a gentleman. His Kung Fu was not spectacular, but his poison-making skill was extraordinary. I almost fell for his poisonous trap during our fight. Eventually, I swallowed his soul as a whole, so his skill became mine. Blood from the heart of a thousand couples was extracted and purified into this fine bottle of elixir. This is the only bottle that I have made available for a single-use.”
Glimpses of hope shone in his eyes as he said, “You made this elixir for us to be together eternally? Actually, that is totally unnecessary. I want to be with you, always and forever.”
The demon laughed out loud at the absurdity of his reply. “That is a plete misunderstanding. I was not asking for your love, but your eternal obedience. When the poison gets to your brain, you will pletely submit to my authority.”
She only wanted him to bee a puppet.
Fan Qianshi sighed. “You should not have done that. I have always been truthful to you about my feelings. I will do anything for you, even without the poison.”
“What a lie! This whole scheme of yours will be used against me when everything es to an end. I am only a tool in your elaborate plan. You have admitted it all, so stop denying.”
“Master, I only said so to annoy them both. It was not the truth. Look at us. Look at my injury. We have been fighting for so long, but I have not done anything to you thus far, have I? If I knew about your weakpoint, I would have used it already. Master, you are a very smart woman. You should know that I have been wronged.”
He then reached out his hand to the demon and continued, “Give me the antidote, please?”
The demon pinched her lips into a thin line in display of her regret. “This is not the antidote. The gentleman tended to go to the extreme, so all of his poisons had no cure.”
Fan Qianshi was utterly shocked by her remark. His eyes became dim and he swayed a little as a result of the poison but did not seem to cast any spells. However, glimpses of colorful rays faintly flashed with every movement he made.
The series of movements seemed unintentional, but he was actually activating the fatality point that was buried in the soul of the demon. He had tested the method on other subjects many times. It never failed.
