Long Moyan paused for a second. “Xijiu, we will be a team if we get married; hence, it does not matter who is the official Lord. Besides that, you’re a girl, you shouldn’t burden yourself with these responsibilities. As your husband, I should share your burden. I know you have no interest in power; I’ll help you manage everything and you only have to enjoy the credit. Let me handle the execution part.”
He sounded like he was going to work and fund the family and she could just spend her days relaxing and enjoying life. However, Gu Xijiu is not that type of person per se. Indeed, she had no interest in power. However, that did not mean she was a plete idiot on politics!
