The moonlight cast a soft glow through the bedroom window, creating an intimate ambience as Han Xin erged from the bathroom, his bare feet padding silently across the carpet. The air was warm and heavy with the scent of his shower gel from the bath he had just taken.

He smiled as he spotted Xiang Yu snuggled under the covers, his dark hair spilling across the pillow. Han Xin’s heart fluttered with desire as he admired Xiang Yu, his strong features relaxed in sleep.

He crawled onto the bed, his movents graceful and deliberate. He embraced Xiang Yu from behind, savouring the warmth of his body. Xiang Yu wasn’t asleep at all. He shifted in Han Xin’s arms, pressing his firm buttocks against Han Xin’s crotch.

Han Xin let out a soft low chuckle as he tightened his embrace, pulling Xiang Yu closer. Their bodies fit together perfectly, like pieces of a puzzle, each curve and muscle complenting the other. He gently bit Xiang Yu’s ear lobe and a throaty groan escaped the man’s lips.

"What are you doing?" Xiang Yu asked his voice muffled as he spoke into the pillow, a playful tone in his words.

Han Xin let out a muffled "Mm?" while his fingers found the buttons of Xiang Yu’s pyjama shirt. With deliberate slowness, he unbuttoned one of them, and his cool fingers slipped in between the gap brushing against Xiang Yu’s heated skin. His rough palms caressed Xiang Yu’s chest, feeling the rise and fall of his breath.

"Yu Yu, I am just giving you a massage," Han Xin whispered, his breath hot against Xiang Yu’s ear. He gently bit Xiang Yu’s earlobe again, sending shivers down his spine. Xiang Yu’s body arched slightly, pressing back against Han Xin’s hand, encouraging him to continue.

Xiang Yu raised a hand, his fingers tangling in Han Xin’s short hair, pulling him closer. He turned his head, capturing Han Xin’s lips in a soft, lingering kiss. Their mouths moved in perfect harmony, tongues dancing and exploring, tasting each other’s passion. When they finally parted, both were breathless, their desire burning brighter than ever.

"Go to sleep, it’s late," Xiang Yu murmured, his voice hoarse with want. He tried to sound casual, but the tremor in his voice betrayed his true feelings.

"Goodnight, Yu Yu," Han Xin whispered, his lips brushing against Xiang Yu’s forehead. He pulled the covers up, tucking them around Xiang Yu’s body, a protective gesture.

"Goodnight, Xin-ge," Xiang Yu responded, his eyes fluttering closed. But soon, he opened his eyes wide having felt sothing poking against his buttocks.

"Han Xin, are you a beast?" Xiang Yu joked, his voice laced with amusent. Who knew that this upright immortal would have an insatiable appetite?

"It’s not my fault," Han Xin chuckled, his warm breath fanning across Xiang Yu’s neck. "You are just too irresistible."

Xiang Yu reached for a pillow, playfully hitting Han Xin with it. Han Xin’s laughter filled the room as he easily blocked the feathery attacks, his strong arms capturing the pillow and tossing it aside. The playful banter turned into a passionate struggle as Han Xin straddled Xiang Yu, pinning him to the bed.

"Where have you been all my life?" Han Xin whispered, his voice thick with emotion. He gazed down at Xiang Yu, his eyes dark with desire.

Xiang Yu smiled, his heart swelling. "I could ask you the sa question."

Han Xin’s expression turned serious, his eyes locking with Xiang Yu’s. "I love you," he said, his voice intense and filled with sincerity.

Xiang Yu’s breath caught in his throat at the raw emotion in Han Xin’s eyes. He hadn’t expected this man to express his feelings directly making his heart burst. "I love you too," he finally replied, his voice breaking.

Han Xin leaned down and embraced him tightly as if he would disappear in the next second.

Agent Lu’s eyes fluttered open, assaulted by a blinding light. He instinctively raised his hand to shield his face, but a sharp pain forced him to lower it. His vision gradually cleared, revealing a fluorescent light overhead and the unmistakable scent of disinfectant. Confusion clouded his mind as he squinted, trying to piece together why he was in a hospital.

The door creaked open, and an old man in a white coat stepped in. Agent Lu’s foggy mory struggled to place him. The man, Old Song, greeted him with a calm, "Good, you are awake," his hand casually resting in his pocket. Recognition finally dawned on Agent Lu. This was the man associated with Xiang Yu. Panic surged through him as he stamred, "You... you... you," attempting to sit up, only to find his wrists cuffed to the bed.

"You kidnapped ! What do you want?" Agent Lu demanded, his voice trembling with fear and anger.

Old Song chuckled softly. "Kidnapped you? No, I didn’t kidnap you." He gestured to the cuffs. "That’s for my safety. Think carefully... how did you end up in my shabby clinic with a gunshot wound?"

Agent Lu’s expression shifted as he processed the information. Anger flared as he rembered. "She shot ! That fuckin bitch shot . She tried to fuckin kill !" he yelled, his voice echoing in the sterile room.

Old Song’s lips curled into a slight smile. "You can leave as soon as you are out of danger. You are taking a bed from my patients."

Agent Lu’s anger was redirected towards the doctor. "Don’t you an your criminal patients? Don’t think for a second we don’t know you treat thugs and gangsters."

Old Song, who had been walking away, turned back. "Says the man who was shot by his own fellow officer. You have no moral standing here."

Agent Lu was left speechless, pointing at Old Song but unable to form words. After the doctor left, he frantically searched for his phone to warn the chief about Peng Xiu. Realization hit him hard when he recalled what happened to his phone. It fell into the water when he was shot. He sighed in exasperation, regretting his outburst. Now, he couldn’t even ask for a phone.
