Xiang Yu’s fingers moved with practiced precision as he picked up several handguns, his eyes never leaving the surveillance monitors. The cold tal of the weapons felt reassuring in his grip. He dialled Old Song’s number, the phone ringing loudly in the otherwise silent room.
Old Song, who had long fallen asleep, jolted awake at the sound. He answered imdiately, his voice groggy but alert. "What’s wrong?"
"We are under attack," Xiang Yu said, his voice calm but urgent. "So gunn broke in."
Old Song was already on his feet, pulling on his jacket. "Is anyone hurt? Do you need backup?"
"No," Xiang Yu replied, sliding a knife into his boot. "Just get a cleanup crew for . It’s going to be very ssy."
"Okay, okay," Old Song said, his voice steadying. "I will call them. Just be careful."
"Thank you," Xiang Yu said, hanging up. He strapped on his holsters in a hurry, sliding the guns into place and securing another knife at his waist. His eyes flicked back to the surveillance monitors, noticing a lockdown button on the panel. A smirk tugged at his lips as he pressed it.
Outside, Yee Ming stepped out of the car, her gold stilettos clicking against the asphalt. Her son draped a fur coat over her shoulders as she took a drag from her cigar, exhaling a cloud of smoke. "Mum, you don’t have to be a part of this," he said, concern etched on his face.
She glared at him, her eyes cold. "Give the gun," she demanded. Reluctantly, he handed it over, and she walked towards the tattoo shop, her bodyguards flanking her.
As they crossed the street, the shattered shop glass walls were suddenly covered by hard tal panels that descended from the top, sealing the shop like a fortress. Yee Ming quickened her pace, but the shop was completely locked down before she could reach it. With a loud bang, she struck the tal walls in frustration. "What the fuck is this?... Shoot your way in!"
One of her n raised a rifle and fired, but the bullets ricocheted off the tal, striking another man in the leg. "Stop stop stop!" Yee Ming commanded. "Carry him away."
Her fingertips traced the cold tal wall as she realized she wasn’t just dealing with a minion in the Han clan. Xiang Yu was no ordinary man. She glanced up at the surveillance cara, her eyes narrowing. "Fucking coward," she spat. "Why don’t you co out and face ?"
Inside the dimly lit tattoo shop, Xiang Yu had already left the safe room. The soft click of the door locking behind him was barely audible, a testant to the sophisticated defense chanisms in place. He moved silently, his senses heightened, as he heard the muffled sounds of soone trying to break down the back door that connected to his garage. They probably thought he was in his apartnt, unaware that he was still in the shop.
He slipped out of his office, the shadows enveloping him like an old friend. Three n near the shattered glass walls were arguing, their voices low but tense. They were trying to force open the tal walls that had trapped them inside the tattoo shop, while the other four were focused on the back door.
"We should focus on trying to get out of here, not the back door," one of the n at the tal wall argued, his frustration evident.
"Madam will be mad if we don’t get that coward," another retorted, his voice edged with fear.
"This isn’t budging," a third man said, his voice strained. "We’ve already thrown chairs at it and it barely made a dent."
"Then let’s find the button to deactivate the system," another suggested, his tone desperate.
Xiang Yu hid behind a wall, his breathing steady and controlled. He watched as one of the intruders walked away, searching for the button to deactivate the security system. The man turned into a narrow passageway, the beam of his flashlight cutting through the darkness. His steps faltered, a chill running down his spine as cold sweat dripped from his forehead. His hair stood on end, a primal warning that sothing sinister lurked in the shadows. He shook his head, dismissing the feeling as paranoia, and continued walking.
Suddenly, a hand clamped over his mouth, and his neck twisted with a sickening crack. Xiang Yu lowered the lifeless body to the ground and slipped back into the shadows. A few minutes later a soft clank echoed through the room, drawing the attention of the n at the tal walls.
"Little Dan, did you find anything?" one of them called out, but there was no response.
"He is so lazy," another complained. "Go check on him. He’s probably smoking."
Grumbling, another man got up and headed towards the passageway, calling out for Little Dan. He was more vigilant than his predecessor, his hand hovering near his gun as he walked. The silence was unnerving, and he reached for his weapon, but before he could draw it, a powerful kick sent him crashing into the wall. The impact drew the attention of the others.
Xiang Yu raised his gun and fired, the shot echoing through the room. The man crumpled to the ground, and the remaining intruders rushed over. Xiang Yu threw a flash grenade, the room exploding in a series of blinding flashes and deafening gunfire. Disoriented, the n stumbled, unable to see or hear clearly.
Xiang Yu moved with lethal precision, each shot finding its mark. One by one, the gunn fell, their bodies hitting the ground with dull thuds. The remaining three began to retreat, panic setting in. Xiang Yu erged from the passageway, his silhouette stark against the flashing lights, looking like a terminator. His eyes were cold and focused, each shot deliberate and deadly. The last of the intruders fell in fear and the room fell silent once more.
Seeing the man that resembled a demon in the shadows he got up tremblingly and tried to flee, but Xiang Yu’s knife flew through the air with deadly precision, embedding itself in the man’s leg. He fell to the ground with a cry of pain, desperately crawling away. Xiang Yu erged from the smoke, his expressionless face and glowing eyes making him look utterly terrifying. He crouched down, gripping the man’s throat with one hand while pressing the muzzle of his gun against the man’s temple. A drop of sweat trickled down the gunman’s forehead, his body trembling in fear. It was as if he was in the presence of a dark entity.
