Justin lay in the dark, staring at the ceiling. The silence in the massive bedroom was almost deafening. His mind was a ss, thoughts coming and going like cars on a busy freeway, but his body didn't budge.

Slowly, exhaustion crept in, his lids growing heavier until sleep finally claid him.

*****

The morning sunlight poured into the massive bedroom, hitting Justin square in the face. He groaned, cracking one eye open, then imdiately shut it again. The dude was not a morning person, no matter how rich or important he was.

His bed felt like a freaking cloud, and for a mont, he debated just sinking back into it.

Then, a knock on the door. Before he could say "go away," it opened, and she walked in.

And, damn.

She looked... well, wow. She was in this silky nightgown that clung to her curves in all the right ways.

Her breasts looked like they were seconds away from busting free and spill out, and her hips swayed with every step she took. It was a lot to take in first thing in the morning.

She walked over to the bed and sat down, staring at his face like he was so kind of masterpiece. "Morning, handso," she said softly, brushing a stray lock of hair off his forehead.

He mumbled sothing that sounded like a "morning" back, still half-asleep and went back to sleep.

She stood, stretching lazily before heading straight to the walk-in closet. It was huge—rows of designer suits, ties, and shoes that probably cost more than most people's cars. She picked out a navy suit that was sharp and clean, like it was made for a magazine cover, then grabbed a Rolex, so cologne, and perfectly shined shoes.

Everything she touched looked expensive because, well, it was.

By the ti 8:30 rolled around and his alarm blared, she had everything set up like so kind of morning fairy. Justin sat up, yawning and running a hand through his ssy hair.

"Damn," Selena muttered under her breath, staring at him as the sunlight hit his face. His cheekbones, jawline, and those sleepy eyes? He looked like he'd just walked out of a movie scene.

"Good morning, Aunt Selena," he said, voice still rough from sleep but smooth enough to make anyone swoon.

She smirked, leaning against the window. "You better get up. Big day, Mr. Black. No school, bussines rember?"

Justin rolled out of bed, scratching the back of his neck as he headed to the walk-in.

He ditched his pajamas and grabbed a towel, his toned chest and abs on full display. He didn't say anything, but Selena didn't even try to hide the way her eyes lingered for a second before she turned back to organizing the room.

"Don't take forever," she called after him, half-joking but totally serious. "I'm not waiting all day for you to get pretty than you already are."

Justin just chuckled softly under his breath and stepped into the bathroom, ready to face whatever the day threw at him.

Justin stepped into the shower, the hot water hitting him like a sigh of relief. It stread down his toned chest, tracing every muscle, his abs catching the light from the recessed lamps above. He stood there for a mont, letting the water work its magic, washing off the remnants of sleep and replacing it with sharp clarity.

By the ti he stepped out, a towel slung low around his waist, water still dripping from his hair and trailing down his back, Selena was already waiting. She leaned against the doorfra like she hadn't just been blatantly checking him out.

"Damn, kid," she teased with a smirk, grabbing a cologne bottle off the dresser. "You're lucky you got the genes to back up that cold hot attitude."

Justin grabbed another towel and started drying his hair looking at her organizing things for him "I can do this myself, you know."

Selena laughed softly, stepping closer. "Yeah, sure, but do you really think I've got ti to sit around waiting for you to figure out what matches what? Nah, let's save us both so ti. And I have been doing this for your whole life, today can't be any different Mr. Grown Up!"

Without waiting for a reply, she started helping him. Her hands were quick but careful, spritzing the cologne onto his wrists and neck before smoothing down his freshly pressed shirt. It fit perfectly, hugging his broad shoulders like it had been tailored just for him—which, of course, it had.

Selena worked fast, buttoning his shirt and adjusting his tie with the kind of efficiency that ca from years of practice. "See? That wasn't so bad," she said, stepping back to admire her handiwork.

Justin sighed, running a hand through his damp hair. "I feel like a doll."

She smirked. "A damn fine-looking doll. Now, let's go." Her hardwork looked so perfect.

They stepped out of the room together, Selena turning to him as they walked. "I need to get myself ready too," she said, striding down the hall like she owned the place. "Don't do anything out of anger while I'm gone." He didn't know what she ant.

He wasn't so psycho... Well, not so sure about that.

Justin just rolled his eyes and made his way downstairs. The staff were already bustling around, the usual morning chaos of running a mansion.

But every ti one of them saw him, they stopped, bowing slightly before returning to their tasks.

He walked into the dining hall, taking his seat at the head of the long table. A perfectly dressed butler—this man looked like he could run a Fortune 500 company if he wasn't managing breakfasts—approached him, handing over a sleek tablet and placing a stack of papers beside it.

Justin swiped through the reports on the screen, his jaw tightening with every new headline. Rumors were flying, whispers about his family's agency, The Black Veil.

So opportunists weren't even waiting for his parents' graves to settle before making their moves.

Breakfast wasn't a long-drawn affair—Justin wasn't about dragging shit out when there was work to be done. He sipped his coffee while flipping through reports on his tablet, his face shifting from neutral to straight-up pissed. The audacity of so people.

His parents hadn't even been in the ground for a full week, and already the vultures were circling, spreading rumors and trying to claw their way into his agency.

"Does Aunt Selena know about this?" he asked, not looking up from the screen.
