"What went wrong? Where did it all go wrong!?"

The Crown Prince smashed a pillar, breaking it into a thousand pieces.

He wasn’t in the Asura Court anymore but the secluded underground basent of the royal castle where a big screen showed multiple displays of people.

From the most basic barony to the Asura Royal Court itself, commoners flooded the places and were destroying them rcilessly.

The ones that had barged into the castle had multiple Legendary Ranks mixed within, these were commoner Asuras who ca out of their hiding and seclusion to help their people.

The royal family of the Asuras had a long standing history of exploitation and bloodline suppression.

They had brainwashed almost everyone including the nobles and gathered a lot of resentnt.

Lith did not have to strategize too much. He did not even need the help of many Legendary Ranks to bring down this so-called god clan.

Their foundation was solid, no doubt. They were definitely a peak powerhouse.

The only mistake they ever made was thinking no one could move above the mind control they possessed.

It was valid on their part as there really was no Asura that wasn’t under the control of royals.

An Asura wouldn’t be an Asura if he did not have a single drop of Asura blood within.

The people without the bloodline were scorned and banished to the edges of the territory, not getting to see the light of the main world.

Visitors were not allowed in the deeper territories and the mind control was quite subtle too, hence it had lasted for thousands of years.

In the secluded room, apart from the Crown Prince, there was the Asura Queen, watching the collapse of their world with a calm expression.

Nothing went right from the start. She could not figure out who it was to cause such a collapse.

As far as she knew, the Evure God Clan did not have the ans to remove the brainwashing. They did not possess the most basic thing, soone with a strong Asura bloodline.

Whenever an Asura was captured, they had a suicidal defense chanism which turned them into ash.

The Evure God Clan could not stop this phenonon as it was once again related to their bloodline. Capturing them was pointless. Questioning them was pointless. And thinking of removing the mind control was even more pointless.

Bypassing so many barricades, who in the world could do it?

The Asura Queen still could not figure it out.

"Call back your sister. We will be leaving." The Asura Queen said calmly.

The Crown Prince gritted his teeth and smashed another pillar. "How could one achieve this effect? We neither possess traitors nor spies in the royal family. Just how in the world..."

"There’s no point brooding over it." The Asura Queen answered calmly once again. "The court may have fallen, our world may have collapsed, but the Asura God Clan will remain standing as long as we exist."

That was true. The essence of the Asuras lay within the royal family. Except for the Crown Prince, the Princess, and the Queen, all other royals were sent away with imdiate effect.

The Crown Prince went away to give the Princess a call and ca back to sit down and search for clues regarding the culprit.

"It cannot be the Evure God Clan and it most definitely cannot be an Asura commoner or noble. It can only be a royal." The Crown Prince assessed.

The Asura Queen nodded lightly. She took out a scroll containing the nas of their family mbers from the very founder of the Asura God Clan in Shen Ze.

"Upon orders from the main clan in the Upper Realm, our founding father descended into Shen Ze. He was a lowly Saint Rank but eventually worked his way up to beco a Legendary and established the Asura God Clan." The Asura Queen said as she read the scrolls.

The Crown Prince nodded. He was looking at the family tree too now.

"This was ten million years ago. Once the clan was established, it was only in na. He took in a lot of wives over the course of a hundred thousand years and had a lot of children. He controlled the bloodline within his children as per their potential and as the children began reproducing, the clan flourished."

The Asura God Clan in Shen Ze started from a single person and everyone could’ve said to be inbred. Apart from the founding father’s wives, there were no outsiders within the clan.

The founding father’s selection of wives was also based on bloodline strength and potential. He did not take in just anyone.

This resulted in a gathering of strong bloodlines and eventually, in a million years, the Asura God Clan beca one of the powerhouses of Shen Ze.

"One would think there wouldn’t be problems if a clan had their own people but where there were people, there were conflicts. As everyone was an immortal, the concept of aging did not apply to them. This was especially true for the wives of the founding father." The Asura Queen got to the point.

"The wives were the only outsiders within the clan. They saw with their own eyes how their children reproduced with each other and their children’s children did the sa. Outsiders were not taken in, and as mortals began reproducing too, genetic disorders were bound to co into play."

The Crown Prince paid complete attention.

At this mont, the Princess walked in. She had the clan’s treasured blade on her back.

She took a seat beside the Queen and did not interrupt her.

The Queen continued to read the scroll and glanced at the nas of the founding father’s wives and the many lineages that ca out of them.

"It was hard to point out who it was, but there was dissatisfaction within the harem when the wives saw their children give birth to diseased children. So ntally could not take it and asked their children to marry outsiders. However, this was a big taboo. The founding father had strictly forbidden the people to take in outsiders and this resulted in the children having their lovers killed."

The Crown Prince and the Princess did not have a change in expression. This was the doctrine of their clan, so it’s not like they had any opinion of it.

"Over the course of the next hundred thousand years, many children died alongside their lovers. The founding father felt it was a headache and ford a proper hierarchy based on the bloodline strength. Within this hierarchy, he ensured that the stronger ones could control the weaker ones with the Royal family, the lineages of the founding father’s most loyal and loved wives, got the biggest benefit."

"Among these wives as well, there was only one which the founding father actually truly loved and cared for. She was a servant girl from a rundown tavern. He fell in love with the lady when he had just descended into this world and was a naive young man. The lady had always treated him well and had a gentle deanor. Her personality did not change after a million years and she still cared for him in the sa way she did when she was working in the tavern."

"And to luck would have it, all of the lady’s three children inherited the bloodline of the founding father. There was no impurity. It was as if the lady’s bloodline did not even bother to put up a fight."

"These three children eventually beca the royals who were above all and just below the founding father."

Up until this point, there wasn’t any problem. The Crown Prince and the Princess knew the problems would start to arise from this mont onwards.

"The wives saw everything happen in front of their eyes. They saw how the founding father favored the tavern girl who did not even have a good cultivation. Due to her deanor, the lady was loved by most but there were still so jealous wives who did not like her and envied her. The envy and jealousy shot through the roof when the founding father made the lady’s children as royals. He did not officially give them a title, but they could see that these three could control everyone."

"As the wives were outsiders, the control did not apply to them. Not to ntion they were the mothers of all, so only the founding father could control them."

The Crown Prince and the Princess nodded.

"As the wives were outsiders, the control did not apply to them. Not to ntion they were the mothers of all, so only the founding father could control them."

The Crown Prince and the Princess nodded.

"Dissatisfication and resentnt eventually beca an all ti high in the harem when the wives saw their lineages get controlled and their children killed for simply marrying outside. It was at this ti that..."

The Crown Prince and the Princess closed their eyes. The darkest history of their clan was now about to surface.

"...so of the wives secretly plotted against the founding father. First, so of the wives began having lovers outside and had children. And next, so of the resentful wives poisoned the First Lady and killed her. This made the founding father furious, however, he could not do anything about it as by the ti he realized who the culprits were, the damage was far too much. Things had spiraled out of control."
