The one-sided clash did not last for long. Not just Fei and Sylvia, Lith himself sent his spiritual power to the tattoo laid on the back of his left calf. It was a tattoo of heavy chains clung together in a lock. The chains unfurled and manifested, swooshing in the air and wrapping themselves around the cloaked figure. The chains were rusty and ancient-looking. It was a calamity Lith had undergone when he was trapped for a hundred years in the dinsion between the AGC and EGC clans' territory. The powers even worked on a Legendary Rank being! How overpowered was that! Though it was only for a short mont. But that split second was enough for Fei and Sylvia to cast their powers on the cloaked figure. The figure instantly turned smaller and the clothes on its body began looking worn out and disintegrated. As the clothes were gone, a skeletal figure could be seen underneath. It was a Lich-like entity with flas burning all over its body. It beca a miniature size of what it originally was and shrieked in terror, not understanding how the tides could turn over so fast! A cage of void was around the figure along with a veil of frozen Ti beneath its neck. All it could do was speak and not move.
The flas flickered only at its head while the ones below were all frozen. "Who are you people!?! How can there be soone so strong in the lower realms!?!" The Asuras behind felt their legs go weak and almost lost control over their bladders. How could their guardian deity be defeated so easily! Monsters! These were fucking monsters! Throughout their lives, they had heard that only the Royal Asuras could win in a one versus one situation with the guardian deity. It was their first ti coming across people who had similar strength as the Asura Royals! They collectively had a similar thought as the guardian deity: who were these people!?!
Lith wasn't bragging when he said the cloaked figure was quite bold to have tried to snatch his sword. All his life, he had been in his own world where people did not seek death on a daily basis. They were clear headed and barely ever did sothing to offend the powerful beings. He had also never mingled with people much and usually kept to calamities and natural disasters. So that was that. It ca off as a surprise to him as well when he found the chains working so well. Although it was only because he caught the man by surprise, to see it work on a Legendary Rank was an astonishing thing. His hundred years of life in the calamity dinsion was not in vain! On paper, he might still be a Half Emperor Rank, but he had far gone above his own realm! He was truly overpowered!
The thought only lasted for a second before Lith went back to normal. If Fei and Sylvia weren't here, he wouldn't have such an easy ti. Lith humbled himself and focused on the Lich again. "You keep talking about the lower realm. Are you soone from the upper realm banished to this place?"
"Banished?" The lich sneered, his previous shock vanishing in thin air. It seed that it had its own pride.
"Only a fool would think a being such as would be banished here. I am but a remnant will of my original self in the upper realm, a proud Asura of the real Asura God Clan." Lith raised his eyebrows in surprise. "Oh? Soone from the higher realm is here? And you aren't even trying to hide it. Are you not afraid of trouble?" "Trouble? What trouble can ants cause? The ones in this realm can't even be called ants. You are but insignificant dust in comparison to the upper realm and its residents." The cloaked figure sneered, only now coming back to reality and understanding that it wasn't helpless in the situation. It had been so many years in this realm that the lich had temporarily forgotten of it being a remnant will. Only when cornered and it had nowhere else to go did it get more rational and ca to this realization. It was the remnant will of a proud being from the upper realm! "Tell more then." Lith had an interested look on his face. "Why should I? Who do you think you are?" The remnant will sneered. Lith didn't get disheartened. Instead he replied, "I see. It looks like a re will is afraid that the ones it called insignificant could actually cause trouble with the information. Is the upper realm so weak that rely getting information about it will cause it to topple?" The flas on the will's head burned more brightly, expressing its anger. He was an intelligent being, but also quite a proud one at that. Add to that, it was a remnant will so it naturally believed its real body to be indomitable. "What do you know? The upper realm is where actual gods reside. Not re entry level gods like you lot. The lower realm in comparison seems like a play house…"
For a few minutes, the lich went on to belittle the lower realm. During this interval, Fei and Sylvia sealed the Evure vanguard and the Asuras. They ensured that those guys were unconscious and did not hear anything. The lich naturally noticed it too, but didn't bother and kept talking about the upper realm. From the lich's blatant arrogance and his looking-down behavior, Lith found a few important details about the upper realm.
The upper realm was where the actual gods resided. aning there was a realm above the Legendary Rank, and the Legendary Rank was just an entry level godhood rank. The Asuras were a mighty clan present at the Death, Destruction, and Dark domain's overlapping area and controlling it. They could even be said to be one of the strongest powerhouses there. From this, Lith deciphered that there could be other domains and perhaps the Evure God Clan was in that place too? The last information Lith got from the arrogant Lich was that the Asuras actively tried to take control of the lower realms with whatever ans they could. They couldn't directly involve themselves, but there were many indirect thods to ddle and they did that. Shen Ze was but a small place for them, and finding that the Asuras here were already quite strong, they didn't bother again and only left a remnant will of an elder to keep track. "I see. So that's how it was. Then… tell , how do you relay information to the upper realm?" Lith asked the important question. As if the remnant will would answer that. It was not stupid and stayed silent. Lith raised his eyebrow and said, "You know, there's a lot of ways in which I can make soone talk. Do you want to to have you experience it?"
