"Have you been only a test subject in this place all your life? But those clothes imply you once went to school, right?"

"..."

However, she didn’t know either.

"Hm... well, co with . Your strength is valuable. You possess amazing hidden capabilities. And young blood is always good for the family, only old people is never good. Though, maybe you’re older than us, hah."

"Huh?"

Blake and Hiromi rembered those mories almost at the sa ti.

Perhaps now that they were even more connected as Spirit Master and their Spirit Familiar, their emotions and mories could be shared or interlinked.

"Hiromi, I’m sorry.."

Blake approached her, as Hiromi’s eyes widened a bit.

"W-Why?"

"You only were with us for ten years, and yet... I brought you to that war and used you as a tool. You were clueless and should have lived a much better life than die in there."

"..."

"You don’t have to fight now if you don’t want to... I won’t force you. I’ve beco... weaker, as you can tell. I now value emotions and the connections we make with people much more than I could before. Perhaps so might find that a weakness, but it has brought boundless joy and strength."

Hiromi’s eyes shone brightly as she heard Blake speaking.

"M-Master..." She spoke with such a low tone of voice it was almost like a whisper.

"I... I love master..." She smiled gently, her eyes shining bright red. "I... am happily a tool... for master."

"Hm?" Blake felt surprised for a mont.

"E-EH?!" Eleanora heard Hiromi’s words, thinking she was confessing her romantic attraction towards Blake.

"Hiromi! You dare confess your love to my future husband?! Things have changed, you know?!" Eleanora ran towards Hiromi, reprimanding her. "Look, I see you as a daughter, but I will not tolerate you stealing my man!"

"Huh?" Hiromi was clueless.

"No, Eleanora, she didn’t an it like that," Blake patted her shoulders. "She just loves as family, right?"

"Uh-huh..." Hiromi nodded slowly.

"Her mind hasn’t developed completely yet, she needs more experiences," Blake explained. "She’s not capable of understanding love like we do."

"O-Oh..." Eleanora felt relieved. "Oh well... I was worried about nothing! Hiromi, please behave, okay?"

"Uh..." Hiromi tilted her head. "I love... master."

"S-She’s saying it again... pfff..." Celestina laughed behind Eleanora.

"Okay but don’t say it all the ti!" Eleanora said.

"I... love!" Hiromi said angrily for so reason.

"Hah?! You little...!" Eleanora was cald down by Blake’s hand over her head.

"Enough Eleanora, she’s a child, let’s leave it at that," Blake sighed. "Hiromi, I’m glad you’re back. Unfortunately, once this trial ends, we’ll go back to a war outside. You can choose to not join, or..."

"I... I’ll join..." Hiromi said, blushing. "For... for master..."

"Hah, I knew she would say that..." Blake said. "Fine... Your strength will be needed... Everstein as well."

"O-Oh?! Of course, my brilliant master!" Everstein said, almost dropping the cup of teas he brought for everyone.

As Blake enjoyed ti with his vampires, he also saw his friends training, pushing themselves even further, exhausting themselves and then healing to get back into the battles once more.

Eventually, the first stage was completed in just four days, even shorter than before, when they only had to fight a hundred million monsters.

The level of destructive power they had attained was simply on another level, and this grew even further as they reached the end of the first out of ten stages.

After receiving their rewards and resting for another two days, their battle continued, the second stage arrived, and they were sent in the middle of a scorching desert.

They suddenly had their skills and spirits sealed and had to get from one place to another with their bodies and magic alone.

The distance was ten million kiloters they had to walk, or attempt to fly though, all while being attacked by powerful desert mutant monsters.

It was a devastatingly hard challenge as well, and it pushed them to their limits, allowing them to beco more resilient through the arduous training and also to expand upon the power of their magic outside of skills.

But eventually, they reached the oasis, their aim, and had a well deserved rest...

The sa pattern continued for many more challenges.

The third challenge, battle in the middle of the sea.

The fourth challenge, fighting deep within caves while seeking resources.

The fifth challenge, battle in the skies, as they aid for a floating island while being chased by flying monsters.

The sixth challenge, an endless dark abyss where they had to navigate and find the exit.

The seventh challenge, fighting four hundred million mutants.

The eighth challenge, finding a spaceship in the middle of outer space while fighting Xenoids.

The ninth challenge, battling all four Ascended Xenoids on their own in the middle of space.

And lastly, the tenth challenge...

Fighting and defeating the Xenoid Queen.

Each challenge brought its amazing rewards, powering them up over and over and over again.

The harshest and most horrifying the challenge was, the better and more rewarding the rewards were.

And of course, they took breaks every challenge, but advanced steadily, possessed by their drive to beco stronger.

And ultimately, against the ultimate challenge Aurora could offer.

RUMBLE!

"GRUUUAAAAGGGHH! DAMN HUMANSSSSS!"

The Xenoid Queen was pushed to her limits and then fell to the sun as she burned and died, through the combined power, cooperation, and strength of everyone.

BOOOMMM!!!

With a massive explosion, the simulation ended, and everyone, at long last, was able to rest.

Their training, all three phases, all ten challenges.

They were completed!

"Well done, everyone."

While he saw his unconscious friends drifting in space and quickly took them to the resting area one after another, Blake smiled.

The powerful auras they exuded...

They were nothing like he had ever imagined, he had already pulled his aura out of them a while ago.

And yet...

"They didn’t just develop one, but multiple divinities...!" Eleanora’s eyes were filled with disbelief. "Master they...!"

"Yeah... They’re amazing," Blake smiled. "They make proud."
