The morning arrived, and I was already receiving several deliveries to my house, mostly the last boxes of Neutonium Core Shards available in the market. Indeed, I had already emptied all the free market out of them, and the rest were saved by the governnt to supply the robots and other machines so the spaceship continues running as intended, so I cannot take them.

However, it still was a lot, over ten thousand shards in total, enough to get one last growth in power before the last day. Indeed, it was already the seventh day, today, once everything was over, I would finish the trial and be done with this.

Although I wanted to quickly go back to my friends I left behind, there were still so lingering feelings I've developed for this place and its people, which made things a bit more difficult for .

I still miss Erika and Elizabeth a lot, even if it has been a week here, it felt like months to be separated from them for this long. I never thought I would feel this way.

I suppose this is truly how it feels to love soone, huh?

I also felt very lonely at the beginning of this life when I was reborn, and Eleanora wasn't there for anymore.

Who I had always assud would be at my side at all tis wasn't there anymore, and it made feel very lonely as well.

Perhaps that's when I began to realize my feelings for her, the feelings I never had the ti to even interpret or understand.

When I was able to summon her back, I was very happy…

"Aurora."

"Yes?"

She appeared by my side, looking at with a curious expression. Despite this being the last battle, she was as calm as ever.

"Do you think you can unlock more of the power of the grimoire?"

"If you absorb all of those shards, it should be possible, yes."

"How much?"

"I don't know, we'll have to see once we begin, it fluctuates a lot. Right now 30% was more than enough for you to overwhelm one of the Xenoid Mother's strongest children on your own, I don't think you should worry too much."

"I don't want to give them even a chance, if possible, overwhelming power to the point they can't even fight back is for the best. And I doubt she will only send her children now. This will be the last battle after all."

"I see… You're so sure it's the last battle though, how do you even know this well, Blake?"

"You should've guessed already, right? Where I truly co from, and what this world is."

Aurora remained in silence for a bit.

"So each battle being every day was because of you? So after seven days, you… what will happen to you?"

"I might not be here anymore."

"But I am within you, what will happen to ?"

"I don't know, Aurora. I'm sorry."

She remained in silence for a bit, although she didn't really look sad.

"I see, well, it'll be interesting to find out what will happen next."

Indeed, she was still an alien at the end of the day, her thought process wasn't the sa as humans even though she had changed a bit more.

The thought of "disappearing" and "dying" wasn't sothing bad within her mind, she was mostly neutral to it.

But still, there were so lingering attachnts she had… I suppose she comforts herself knowing she's within ?

I was sitting on the floor of my room; I glanced at the pile of Neutonium Shards I had placed by my side and began absorbing them one after another. Thanks to these new powers, I don't even need to ingest them anymore, just by touching them, they can be absorbed instantly.

"Then let's begin, Aurora."

I noticed Eleanora appearing by my side, watching.

"Will you be absorbing all of those, master?"

"Yeah. Also call Blake Eleanora."

"W-Well, I still prefer master sotis… Ah! Are you not going to let Hers, Patrick, or Emilia absorb them though?"

"It would be inefficient, and I don't think they have the body to handle this much power. But I will power them up by growing stronger and reconnecting my energies with them. Once I am done, it should be possible to grant them one last Skill."

"That sounds great!"

"Alright, let's start then."

Without further ado, I absorbed the fragnts one after another, without stopping. They turned into blue light and electricity, disappearing as they were absorbed by my Aura, which was also made out of Aurora's own powers.

She was the one doing most of the work here though, as she assimilated the Neutonium Core Shards and turned them into pure particles of light that my own core absorbed. It took several minutes, but I had thankfully woken up rather early today.

Eventually, it was done.

I received the ssages telling how much I changed through the systems installed within the accessories I wore. I glanced at the in detail, noticing I only gained 1 Slot.

I suppose that's as far as I can go, it is slightly disappointing I can't go even further than this without risking everyone else…

But I suppose that's fine in the end. As long as I've beco stronger, it is okay.

With these two Slots, I should choose which Skills to get next… the Skills I can use naturally and those I choose as Neutonium Core act differently.

First, the Neutonium Core Abilities beco naturally stronger than they were originally and can also be freely shared and infused into machines.

Normal Skills used through my innate powers cannot do this, and they're also weaker than their original counterparts.

Nonetheless, they both can be used and complented together.
