Noah glanced at the glistening pile of orbs before him, they had the size of waterlons, and were overflowing with bright dark blue essence. Unlike the other Cores of previous Ranks, X-Rank Attribute Value Cores were beautiful and shined brighter than anything, yet they also carried a certain darkness within them, as if it was sothing that not many could grasp, not sothing that many could reach, it was an item that broke through the limits of this world's ranks, and went beyond it…
As Attribute Value Cores beca stronger at higher ranks, they gave away more and more stats, X-Rank Cores would give over 100 stats each, aning that he didn't need as many to reach the peak of X-Rank at long last.
Due to that he only picked up a dozen of them and absorbed them.

Noah imdiately noticed the change compared to SSS-Rank Cores and the others, these X-Rank cores were obviously of a higher and more delicious essence quantities and quality! It was overflowing through his body so much that his bones, muscles, and even his soul were reacting wildly to it.
The wave of essence lasted longer than he expected, as the power continued to cross through his entire body, his veins and organs were nourished by it, and everyone present glanced with awe at Noah breaking through the known limits of this planet! What could lay beyond X-Rank?

Noah's entire body was shrouded with this aura of greatness and imnse essence, as his family and allies watched with surprise.
"Dadaaa!" Dante roared in his dragon form, rushing toward his father
"Nuh huh!"
Eleanora, however, stopped the charge of her reckless and gigantic brother, as she released powerful psionic waves, strong enough to stop an over 100 ter tall three-headed dragon!
"Gaaah!"
Dante cried in surprise as he found himself floating in midair, Eleanora used her amazing Telekinesis produced by her third eye to make her brother float in midair and not bother her beloved father.
"Haha…. Thank you dear," said Iris, as she had Eleanora on her arms as Noah needed to concentrate.
Sighing in relief as he thanked Eleanora that she stopped his son from clashing over him while ditating, Noah concentrated further into his ditation, absorbing the energies of the cores until he was finally able to concentrate everything inside of his chest, infusing it into his blood core.
FLAAASH!
Another flash of bright red light ca out of his chest, as everything went back to normal and fell into silence…
Noah smiled in a triumphant manner as he raised his head, only to find that he was in a place of complete darkness.
"Oh, this place?" he wondered, as he felt the presence of sothing familiar yet unknown…
An enormous crimson-red eye erged out of this darkness, glaring at him nacingly.
Two jaws spoke to him, with the sa and strange voice of this creature.
"You are… ready." It spoke.
Finally.
Noah was finally ready to… to what?
What did this entity ever wanted to begin with?
And Noah already knew that this thing was sohow part of his own self, a part of him… But…
What did it always ant by saying "you're not ready" all the ti?
And now that he had crossed through X-Rank, he was ready?
"I am already aware that you are sohow part of . Now tell what you are exactly and what I am finally ready for," said Noah.
"Yes… You are part of , and I am part of you. We are ready. We are ready to rge once more," it said.
"What do you an?" asked Noah.
"Isn't it obvious? Well, you don't rember what happened. So, it is obvious that you are unaware…," said the entity.
"Stop going around and tell things directly," said Noah.
"Hahh… So impatient, impatient as always. However… That's sothing I am aware of, I like your impatience, it makes you imperfect, a perfect fit for , an imperfection too…" said the entity.
"So you an we are two halves of the sa thing?" asked Noah.
"On more ways than you would like to know… Our origins are mysterious. We are one, but two. We are a soul, but two minds. We, as one were born from the incarnation of the void, our lord and father, our creator and our main body. We are his child, spawn, and vessel, we are his representator, his ssiah, and his child…." Said the entity.
"You're talking about… Azathoth, right?" asked Noah.
"This little rock seems to have taught you the na of our father. Good. That's right, we are the child of Azathoth, the Primordial Deity… We have a billion siblings and our big brother, Nyarlathotep, watches over us. However, unknown to him, one of them, us, lost itself through the void. Without anywhere to go, we slowly were suppressed by the world's laws, and we beca a single and small soul, containing the abyss inside…" said the entity.
"I only have one father and one mother, and they're dead. I don't care where my soul cos from, I am Noah, not a spawn of a monstrosity of the outer space, I won't accept any legacy nor obey anything he wants from ," said Noah boldly.
"Hehehe… I think the sa. Do you think we are two different people? We are the sa, therefore, we think equally similar. I don't want to obey anyone, I ran away because I wanted. We will do whatever we want, right? That's what we do, my other half…" said the entity.
Noah began to consider the truth about his very soul's existence, this entity talking to him as if he were his brother made him a bit disgusted, but he slowly felt more and more familiar with it, perhaps it was really his other half…
But what would they do now?

Suddenly, the entity rushed towards Noah, and devoured him!

"This is a battle of minds! If you can defeat my will, you can take over our entire power, and if I win… I take over everything you have! Fair, isn't it, my other half?!" laughed the entity, as Noah started to fight against the eternal darkness within the stomach of this monstrosity!
