198 Treatnt.

Valerian shook his head as he heard this question coming from the princess and said, “You are thinking too much, did you not see how they treat ? How can I be slaving off?”

Morgana shook her head and said, “This does not prove anything, they could be putting up a front. How can you know what is hiding in the heart of a monarch?”

Valerian shook his head and said, “I cannot prove it to you without revealing a few secrets that are not convenient to talk about at this mont. So, just trust and you will know in the future.”

The princess stared at his back as the beast moved through the skies. They both of them did not talk they were aware that neither of them was wrong and that they will only be dragging this argunt by discussing sothing like trust. The intellect of the two children was not shallow.

They arrived at the academy in the afternoon and entered smoothly. While Valerian was the student, he could invite one guest inside. They did not ask why did this lady have her face covered with a scarf. Valerian asked her about this earlier and the lady said that it was because she wanted to first sense the situation of her prey before engaging him in a fight.

The Centaur Prince, Noor Centurion, was eleven years old and this was his first year in the academy. His talent was limited to being a warrior, but this child has been notorious since he hasn’t even started basic training.

Jamal married his children but did not allow them to have children till they were strong enough to hold their positions with absolute dignity. He believed in a simple thing, that children were the greatest threat to the position one could have, it was because he laid his entire family in their graves for power because he found them all stagnating and unworthy.

Thus, he had children when he was approaching mid-forties, and his children did the sa. They did not want to appear as threats to their father and wanted the sa from their children as well. Valerian did not know about all this and directly led Morgana through the academy campus and found the battle mage tower.

On the way, he described the various spots and their significance in the academy to Morgana, who was coming her for the first ti and she was curious. Valerian reached the Battlemage tower and pushed the door. The door was pushed open and the young n entered the place, with Morgana in tow.

.....

The inside was still the sa, Valerian waved his hand to cast a wind spell and cleared the dust from the floor and offered a chair to the princess before he went upstairs to find the old foggy, however, she was left with a direct command, “Do not touch anything, at all.”

Morgana was aware that this place was not where she was the princess, who knew which action provoked the guardians of this place, after all, she was an outsider. Thinking about this she wondered if a certain prince was suffering here in restrictions.

She wanted to get out, but did not know her way around the place, so waited for Valerian to get down. The young man ca back soon, but his forehead was laced with sweat. He said, “We need to go out, will you co with or shall I get an escort for you?”

Morgana thought and wanted to reply when Valerian said, “You want to go an investigate that person? I will get you an escort. You can trust her. Co along.”

Consano had a younger sister, who was at odds with Valerian, earlier, Conixia.

Valerian moved through the campus and ca to the warrior wing. The students were provided dormitories on the academy itself. He led the princess to the dormitory and asked the reception staff to pass his ssage to Conixia.

The warrior girl arrived shortly after. She never expected Valerian to find her in person. When she arrived, she found Valerian standing with a beautiful girl she has never seen before.

The lady said, “Greetings, your highness.”

Valerian nodded and said, “This is Princess Morgana of the Centaur nation. Go take her around for a tour, I have a few things to do.”

Conixia was aware of the situation on the western continent and these days the people from different nations have maintained distance with each other because of it.

In such a situation, Valerian was asking her to give a foreign princess a tour. This was too odd. However, looking at she gaze that was sharpening with every passing breath, she nodded and said, “Yes, your highness. I will do my best.”

Valerian nodded and said, “I will find you after my work. Or if you are done with the tour first, take the princess to the battlemage tower and I will co there to et you.”

Conixia nodded and Valerian said, “Rember your goal, Morgana.”

The girl nodded to him before the silver haired prince left the place with big strides. Conixia heaved a sigh of relief when Valerian vanished from her sight. Morgana found it funny and asked, “You seem to be afraid of him, Lady Conixia.”

She could tell that the status of this girl was not shallow from her bearings and mannerism. Conixia nodded and said, “His highness is my biggest fear.”

Morgana beca curious, she wanted to know what could scare a warrior to this extent. She asked, “Share with too. I want to know if he is really scary.”

Conixia recalled her first eting with the guy and then she narrated the incident to Morgana. The princess heard the story as they moved around the warrior wing.

...

Valerian ca to the infirmary beside the light magic tower and found a light magic practitioner. He asked, “Sir, is it possible to cure the effects of shadow viper venom?”

The person was a middle aged man, usually he does not co here, but today he ca to lecture and inspect the place. But he did not expect this battlemage kid will ask him such a question. Shadow Viper poison was sothing those from his generation knew very well.

The man shook his head and said, “It is not impossible to cure it, but the ti window is very short. By the ti treatnts can be administer, the victim passes away. Why do you ask child? Are you planning to hunt a shadow viper?”

Valerian shook his head and said, “I am asking this for a friend, she suffered from shadow viper poison as a child and then lost her capability to express her emotions.”

The middle aged man nodded thoughtfully, and asked, “What is your na?”

“Valerian Versus, teacher.”, replied the boy. Every senior faculty mber in the academy was addressed as teacher.

The middle aged man nodded and said, “I am Jero. You can bring along your friend to , i will be able to cure her. Or at least, I can try.”

Valerian was surprised by this and asked, “Teacher, can a Archmage guarantee successful treatnt, if they were invited?”

The middle aged man was shocked but then he regained his composure, thinking that Valerian wanted better treatnt for his friend, Jero nodded and said, “The chances of success will rise for sure, however, none will take a complete guarantee in this case because the instances of shadow viper poison treatnt are too low to study or derive information from.”

Valerian understood this and nodded, then he said, “I will find you when my friend is ready. Thank you for your advice teacher.”

Jero nodded with a genial smile on his face and then watched Valerian walk away from the infirmary. The young man did not stop until he ca to the art pavilion. He ca here to find Fallax, this old foggy was going to help him in recruiting an Archmage for help.

The boy climbed the stairs of the pavilion and just as he has predicted, the old man was inside the music room. Faint and gentle musical notes could be heard in the corridor.

Valerian walked over and found Fallax practicing his skills with his eyes closed and none of the people around. He did not lower the volu of his strides and ca close to Fallax.

The old man was disturbed and opening his eyes, he sighed and asked, “Why are you here again?

Valerian smiled and said, “To pay you my respects.”

Fallax almost doubted his ears and then he shook his head and mumbled, “You cannot pay any respects. Tell what do you want?”

Valerian sighed and put up a straight face as he said, “Call a light attribute Archmage and ask them to help us in the surgery to help Morgana Centurion.”

Fallax was surprised, but the child in front of him looked like a statue of stone. The old man did not expect it to be like this.
