The innate skills activated automatically and granted Arthur the bonus stat point right away. But he didn't glance at it for longer than a mont, as there was still a Twin Tailed Lizard.

Arthur felt the temperature suddenly rise and noticed a red glow from the side of his eye.
"Draconid's breath." Arthur identified quickly.
Almost all Draconid type beasts had this signature skill, and it was often their strongest one. In the current condition of the Twin Tailed Lizard, it couldn't move its tail or legs much, as such its other skills were unless.
Thus, it used the only skill it could in this situation.
Arthur tilted to the side to avoid it, but at such a close range the margin of error was great.

'Good that I didn't get hit directly. But the heat from it could have still burned when the fireball passed by my side.' Arthur knew.

A second later, the Draconid's Breath exploded against the hillside which was behind Arthur.?The explosion launched Arthur forward and he landed on the ground, face first.

The Twin Tailed Lizard suffered the sa fate and landed next to Arthur.

"Damned Lizard!" Arthur certainly didn't like that and slamd his fist onto the head of the beast.

With his improved strength and the weakened Twin Tailed Lizard, Arthur cracked its skull, ending its life.

Arthur got up and dusted the dirt off his armor.

"Still managed to get ." Arthur shook his head. "Though the stats do make feel better." He muttered, looking at the notification.
He had gotten agility again from the kill.
With one additional point in both Agility and Dexterity, Arthur hoped he would have a lesser chance of this happening.
'Guess this gives the opportunity to test out the ditation skill.' Arthur looked on the brighter side.
He then stored the two mangled corpses of the Twin Tailed Lizards inside the Night's Abyssal Cape and took a look at his variable stats.

"Just enough that it won't take much long." Arthur said before sitting down.
Since the diation skill required him to be stationary, there was no other option but to sit down.
Arthur closed his eyes and activated the first diation skill.

Arthur focused on the MP, since his HP couldn't be regenerated with the Vital diation skill right now. It only regenerated to 5% but it would still recover on its own over ti. The only thing was that it would take a longer ti.
The sa was the case for stamina, as it would still regenerate on its own, even if Arthur didn't consu any food or drinks.
Arthur could feel the skill affecting his body after a few seconds.
'It actually changes my breathing thod.' Arthur noticed he was breathing in a specific pattern.
So breaths were shorter, while so were longer.
This prompted him to focus on how the skill was actually working. He could feel the mana within him increasing, as his stores were restored bit by bit.
A few minutes later, Arthur felt the skill stop working.

"Hmm… that wasn't actually that bad." Arthur said, feeling rather refreshed.
This gave him another thought.
"I wonder if this works with my real body too…" Arthur took note, deciding to try it out when he had logged out.
After all, with the Synchronization stat working, Arthur would be able to use his abilities in the real world too.

In the ti that it had taken for the MP to regenerate, the other stats had also regenerated at their default rates and reached their full.
"Will restore Hunger too." Arthur took out so at jerky and ate a piece.
With that, he was in peak condition and ready to continue his hunt.
"Do you sense any more of them nearby, Brambles?" Arthur asked the beast.
"Riki," The Beetle denied. "Kihi~" But they added that it sensed other enemies.
"Oh? More of the birds. Guess we'll get rid of them, too." Arthur said, and the two went in the direction of the foes.
About an hour later, Arthur and Brambles had killed several of the Dagger Beak Falcons, and they still hadn't found any more of their targets.
"Where are they?" Arthur was confused, as it shouldn't take that long to find the Twin Tailed Lizards.
Other than that, he hadn't seen any traces of the Hamr Head Ox either.
'Guess we'll just have to go further. But we're already more than halfway through the Spindle Hills.' Arthur realized.
If they traveled for a few more hours, they would end up leaving the area. At that point, they would have entered the Outer area of the Oxal Mountains. Which was their intended location, but Arthur didn't want to leave the bounty quests unfinished.
"What else can we do? Hmm…" Arthur thought of a few ideas. "Oh wait! I just need a better viewpoint to find them!" He realized.
