Arthur walked along the two porters and looked around the town.
The location of the Adventurers Guild was near the center of Roran town. It was easily the second largest building in the town after the Town Center. But that wasn't all, as the Adventurers guild was surrounded by multiple other buildings.
These were all buildings that would be necessary for the adventurers like the blacksmiths, potioneers, alchemists, inns and other goods shops that sold miscellaneous stuff.
This made it convenient for the Adventurers to do their work as they could sell of their goods right there, while also buying supplies and resting at the inn. This layout was sothing that was rather common over multiple settlents and only grew in complexity the bigger the settlent was.
'For a town, this is still quite big.' Arthur thought after seeing it for himself.
He had seen many towns in his past life and knew how their layout was. And yet, he could tell that Roran town was a bit different than them in terms of both size and population.
"And here we are!" Aaron said standing in front of a busy entrance.
Above the entrance hung a sign board that read, 'Roran Adventurers Guild'. Arthur looked at the people in and around the building, finding them to be relatively strong just from the equipnt they were using.
'Dragon's Insight!' Arthur silently used the skill.

Arthur only took a look at the brief information that was provided by the skill and confird his doubts.
'Level 20 Adventurer NPC. That too at a starter town… is this an outlier or are the others the sa?' Arthur wondered.
He used Dragon's Insight several tis in a row, checking up on the adventurers quickly. In just five seconds he had seen the levels of many such adventurers and confird his doubts.
'Looks like the average level is 20 for adventurer NPCs here… Even the weakest NPC here seems to be level 18 while the strongest is level 25.' Arthur observed.
"What're you waiting for? Co on in," Geran said, calling to Arthur.
"Coming," Arthur said before entering the Adventurers guild.
Inside the building, he could see several sections. The very first section that one ca upon after the entrance was the Job desk. This was where the Adventurers could take up jobs as well as submit the proof of their jobs.
The next section that Arthur saw was the information desk. It was exactly as its na ant and Adventurers could obtain information about various things here. So information was free, while so had a cost to it.
It was also one of the busiest sections of the guild no matter which city or town it was.
Then finally there was the tavern area where the Adventurers could rest and have a al with so drinks.
Most adventurer guilds were similar, but could have more sections like an entire inn for living, or a bigger tavern depending on the kind of settlent they were in. For example, the Adventurer guilds in the cities would be bigger than those in the towns.
'It's surprising for there to be a tavern in the guild here… most town guilds only have the administrative sections.' Arthur was surprised.
Roran town was a beginner town, thus shouldn't have had a guild this big. But Arthur was starting to realize the outlier it was especially considering the fact that the information he had was quite different.
'When players got to the Roran town in my past life, there was no tavern here… in fact, the section was closed off since the start.' Arthur thought to himself.
He wondered just what was it that had happened in the ti that the players had taken to reach the Roran Town.
'If we follow the sa ti line as my last life, it took players around fifteen days to reach Roran town. Considering the fact that I've provided them so tips, this ti might be shortened but not that much. Perhaps only two or three days.' Arthur thought to himself.
While he didn't know what had happened, Arthur knew that what he was seeing signaled that sothing great had happened in the past or would happen soon. Taking note of this, Arthur stood along the two porters in the line until it was their turn.
"Geran you're late." The man sitting at the desk said.
"You know how it is Caleb. The forest can get dangerous at tis. We try to take the safest route which can make us late." Geran replied to the clerk.
"I see… since it's just a day late, I won't mark it down," Caleb said before opening a register.
He flipped through the pages before coming to a particular entry.
"Here it is… Porters Geran and Aaron were tasked to recover the supplies left behind by the adventurers." Caleb read before looking at the porters. "Show the goods." He asked.
'Here you go," Geran and his son placed their rucksacks on the table.
Caleb quickly checked the items in the bag and nodded his head.
"Everything seems in order," Caleb spoke before opening a drawer and taking out so coins. "Here is your paynt." He gestured to the desk.
"Hoho, are you giving us a bonus too?" Aaron said with so excitent.
"Not a bonus. The price of the job simply went up while you were gone." Caleb answered.
"Huh… that's unusual." Geran furrowed his brows. "Did sothing happen?" the old man asked.
"Dunno. The Guard Captain was the one who asked for it," Caleb replied. "Guess he just wanted for the work to be done early." He added.
Arthur who was standing at the side, was confused upon hearing this.
"Wait… Do you an to say, the Guard captain raised the price after Aaron and Geran had already taken the job? That doesn't make sense." Arthur questioned. "Why would soone raise the reward for a job when it was already accepted? And it's not even a bonus."
"Our job wasn't exclusive to us." Aaron was the one to answer. "Others also had the sa job."
"Yes, there was more than one site after all." Geran chid in. "We only took one of them. When we ca to take the job, there were other sites that had not been claid." He explained.
"And who might you be?" Caleb asked, seeing that Arthur was soone unknown to him.
"Ah, this is Arzhur. He's an adventurer from Kestrel Village." Geran introduced.
"An adventurer from there?" Caleb seed to be surprised.
He gazed at Arthur with an inquisitive gaze as an almost imperceptible glint flashed off his eyes.
Arthur who saw this, knew what the man was doing.
"You do qualify for it." Caleb said, having appraised Arthur silently. "So then… I guess you wish to register?" he asked.
"Yes, but I also have a few more things to do." Arthur replied.
"You an to sell your loot?" Caleb easily guessed.
"Partly yes, but I also have a letter for the Guard Captain." Arthur answered.
"Letter for the captain? I see…" Caleb furrowed his brows before looking towards the side. "Timmy, go inform the Guard Captain soone is coming to visit him."
A young server who seed to have been cleaning the floor nearby suddenly stood up.
"Y-yes! I'll do it right away!" the teen servant said before quickly sprinting away.
"Let's get your docuntation in order first." Caleb said opening another register.
"We'll wait in the tavern till then, Arzhur." Geran said, wanting to rest.
"Yeah, I need to rest my feet. I'm sure I got blisters over my blisters now." Aaron said in a tired tone.
"Sure, I'll et you after this." Arthur said waving his hand.
Once the two porters were gone, Arthur's expression changed as he looked at Caleb with a serious expression.
"May I ask… why is the guild master doing such work himself?" Arthur questioned in a low voice.
He had recognized the man the mont he had seen him. Arthur had to keep his composure while the two porters were with him, thus he hadn't said anything before.
But now that the two were gone, he could ask freely.
Caleb didn't give a reaction to Arthur's question though and continued to flip through the register.
"Interesting that an unregistered newbie like you knows who I am. I doubt Eneba or the two porters would have told you who I am, either." Caleb replied without lifting his head from the register.
"Village head Eneba didn't tell about you and neither did Geran or Aaron." Arthur replied.
"Then how did you recognize who I am?" Caleb questioned.
"I doubt there are many people here who would be as strong as you," Arthur replied. "A level 70 warrior is rather strong for an adventurer of a town like this," Arthur added, his eyes lightly glimring.
Hearing this, Caleb finally lifted his head, surprise on his face.
