Chapter 127: Thread regarding the item contest
Hi there, long ti no see.
I’ll preface this by giving an abridged version of why I haven’t released anything in a long ti.
Shortly after my last release, I lost all the data on my laptop due to a blue screen and nothing I did fixed it. I ended up having to wipe everything clean because even resetting it to factory settings and the like still gave an error. Luckily, wiping everything clean fixed it.
I lost everything including the progress on this chapter I’m releasing now which was mostly done. I actually did start translating this chapter shortly after but I got stuck in a line that I wasn’t really sure how to translate. I do my have my releases uploaded in my google drive but I only do so once the chapter is finished and I need to start editing and proofreading it.
Then, life happened and I eventually forgot all about it, though I did think about coming back multiple tis but never doing so in the end.
Anyway, just today, I logged into the email I use for this blog and I noticed so ssages from people asking when a new chapter was coming out (although they were from quite so ti ago and I just never realized they were there) so I decided to pick up my unfinished chapter and translate it.
Like always, no idea when the will be released or even if it will at all but enjoy this new chapter for now. Hopefully we’ll see each other soon enough.

「Isn’t it fine? There’s not that many custors right now. More importantly, after that, did Selene-dono contact you?」(Shuuhei)
「Yeah. She ntioned sothing about so Ladies’ pact or the like? She told that it was fine and I shouldn’t worry.」(Wataru)
While cleaning the table where a custor sat down until a mont ago, I replied to Tobi, who was sitting down while drinking so coffee and checking his smartphone.
I believe Selene-san explained it vaguely on purpose.
Those two must have forbade her from saying anything…doesn’t seem like we’ll get to know about the contents of that pact of theirs.
「I see, I guess it’s fine as long as they are not fighting. So, I was taking a look at the threads after the event ends like always.」(Shuuhei)
「Oh. Was there anything unusual? …Thank you for coming.」(Wataru)
Just when I was done wiping the table and placing a nu in the middle, a custor stood up to leave.
The owner looked free at the ti so he took care of the bill.
While he was doing that, I cleaned and put the tableware on the table the custor that just left had sat down at.
Huh, it’s about that ti when the store is not busy…
「Owner, do you mind if I go and take my break right now?」(Wataru)
「Sure, go ahead. In a while, the regulars are going to start coming after all.」(Shirou)
「Alright. Thank you very much.」(Wataru)
I took off my apron and sat down opposite Shuuhei.
Today’s is Mariko-san’s day off.
Seems like she had gone on a hot spring trip with so old friends.

I did so light stretching and drank the glass of water I brought in one go.
I might be teasing him right now, but I really appreciate how he brings himself to co to the store on his day off.
Even if what he orders is the cheapest coffee on the nu.
I went to the kitchen for a mont and with the owner’s permission, I opened the fridge.
I placed a slice of a cake on a plate and returned to Shuuhei’s table.
「Here you go.」(Wataru)

「Cheesecake, my treat.」(Wataru)
「Are you serious!? Thanks, Wacchi!」(Shuuhei)
With a face filled with delight, Shuuhei imdiately took a portion of the cheesecake with his fork.
While he was doing that, I took out my smartphone and accessed the ssage board.
「So, what thread was it?」(Wataru)
「Hmm? What do you an?」(Shuuhei)
It’s been a while since we started talking, so it seems like he forgot what he was going to say before.

This is an issue that was brought up because technology in VR gas has advanced so much.
They take the form of a ga, but they are currently going in a direction where realism takes precedence.

Well, it’s true that even in VR romance gas they are able to make 2D models that give the feeling of a 3D polygon character and feel real close to sothing you’d find in real life.
