[Level 19. Silverfox]

[HP: 470/470]

The status information that was hovering above Silverfox's avatar affird Venn's guess. As players enter combat or trade actions, their statuses will appear and be visible slightly above their avatars' heads.

Venn had never seen or ca across Silverfox in his 3 years of gaming journey, having been stuck in the capital library for most of the ti reading mountains upon mountains of books. However, that does not an he was unfamiliar with her.

In the previous tiline, Silverfox was an extrely famous top ranker and the vice guild leader of the guild - Ivy league.

Ivy league was a household na for anyone that had played Heaven Descent. The reason behind it was that it was a top ten guild in the server that only consisted of female players in its ranks.

But what makes the guild famous was not because of such a simple and shallow reason.

Instead, it was Silverfox and the guild leader that elevated the reputation of Ivy League among the general public with their overpowering strength and capability to stand toe to toe with the other guilds.

Both of them single handedly stopped the ridiculous notion that females can't be good at gas, and beca the role models for female players all over the globe. Likewise, it could be said that a lot of male players were chard by them as well.

And when she and the guild leader were still active in the lilight during the first year that Heaven Descent was launched, they had set nurous records that were impossible to beat, even after two years later.

Their trajectory to success was set in stone until one day, they suddenly vanished completely without a trace.

No one knew what happened to the two of them. There were many speculations about their whereabouts but none was verified to be true. Like cherry blossoms, their brilliance shone montarily before dying out.

Despite knowing all the information from rumors and hearsays only, there was one truth among them that Venn was certain about.

And that is the woman standing in front of him is scarily strong!

Known for her technique for assassination, videos of her fights were often the highest viewed in the forum! Those videos even contributed a small part as to why he chose to wield a dagger as his weapon. In the past, he often followed her in-ga whereabouts as news on the forum as well.

But why is she targeting him? Is his secret of being Night Raid compromised?

Other than that, Venn could not think of any other reasons why Silverfox would randomly attack soone.

Unless…

"Wait! Hear out!" Venn shouted in an attempt to establish communication with Silverfox.

But without giving him any chance to confirm his suspicion, Silverfox pressed on with her attack.

A tiny ball of fla was ignited from thin air with the snap of her alternative hand.

Then, with the flick of her wrist and the snap of her fingers again, the ball of fla flew upwards in a rapid speed and curved its trajectory ninety degrees before exploding right in Venn's face bringing about intense heat and smokes upon impact.

The flashbang was just the initial sequence of Silverfox's combo.

Normally, after blinding her opponent with an unexpected flashbang, she would follow up by enveloping her opponent and herself with a thick green fog of poisonous mist.

Thereafter, striking from within the fog with accurate knowledge of her opponent's location with the [thermal vision] that she gained from the monster core of the crown serpent that she had hunted, and concealing her figure inside the fog, her opponent would be forced to make a choice between fight or flight.

If they choose to flee from the fog, they would have to stay on guard from her sneak attack while fleeing, which would be impossible to maneuver; or be slowly poisoned to their death by getting stuck inside the fog in which Silverfox would simply stay hidden, biding her ti.

It was truly an unguardable move. Be it fight or flight, her opponents would simply be like a at on the chopping block no matter which choice they choose.

Up until this very mont, Silverfox had slain nurous others that are much higher level than her with this set of moves that she had co up with by herself. No one was even remotely successful in escaping from her fog as well. It was this move that made her confident in her skills, she was certain that the fight was already over.

And that was what she did this ti as well!

However, what she didn't account for was that it was Venn that she was currently fighting with.

The sa Venn that had seen and analyzed her videos several tis over and over again in the past!
