Use Me Like A Drug (omegaverse bl) Chapter 1: Feel the heat

Choi Yujun’s pov

The peace atmosphere is suddenly shattered by the loud noise of a gunshot piercing through the air.

That one shot brought with it, panic, disaster and chaos as every alpha in this all-alpha dinner party runs off in different directions for safety.

Quickly, I duck under a nearby table to hide from the attackers and scan the room for my personal bodyguards- but with the ongoing chaos and confusion, I can’t seem to find both of them.

I peek out from the table I had chosen to hide under to map out the positions of the attackers.

They are obviously ill-planned and would be easy to take down if only I had my gun on , unfortunately the bodyguards who are in possession of it are nowhere to be found, leaving exposed and defenseless.

"Search everywhere!, their nas are on the guest list. Get both of them! that conceit son of Hwang and that weak son of Choi" an alpha I recognize to be one of Kang’s favorite hound dog roars and I groan in my hiding place, of course the Kangs are after on a Tuesday night at a party ant for fundraising.

"Follow " a male voice says on my right side and without confirming his identity, I follow him and we both run through a door that had been covered up with balloons.

The door leads to a small but lengthy passage- in the dim lightning of the passageway I take a good look at my ’savior’, he is slightly taller than even with my high insole.

Intrigued by the speed he has, I study his back further and spotted the small tattoo on his neck- wait, did I just get saved by a Hwang?

We stop in front of an elevator, and he pushed the button to open it, Hwang gets in with a stoic look on his face and his arms folded.

"Our weapons have been separated from us intentionally, if we try going out now, they will shoot us down" he says and I grunt in reply, regretting my action of following him- I know he would use this against till I’m dead or he is dead.

In the privacy of the elevator, I hunch over with my hand over my chest as I try to control my hard breathing.

While adrenaline is still pumping in my veins from running this far for that long, Hwang Jaehyun, my family’s rival is as composed as he had been during the unfortunate party that led to our current situation.

"I can hear you panting like a dog behind Choi" he says from where he is standing in front of . I can’t see his face, but I know his annoying face looks as smug and as cocky as he sounds.

"Shut up" I say to him with a tired sigh, feigning strength as I straighten my back to cross my hand over my chest.

"Yejun-ah" he calls my na wrongly.

"Yujun" I snap at him, getting more irritated by the minute.

I don’t want to be in this space with this pompous jerk, I don’t want him to talk to , I don’t want him breathing the sa air as , I don’t want-

"Yujun-ah you should control your scent" he says, and my hand snaps up to my neck to the scent patch I had worn re hours ago to cover up my scent and to hide my secret.

Jaehyun must be trying to get on my nerve because even with my scent patch on, I have on a perfu that masks my real scent.

"Shut up" I whisper and clear my throat, uncomfortable with having my scent ntioned.

"What? you are really stinking up the elevator" Jaehyun says as he steps away from with his hand over his nose.

He looks serious about it and my eyes widen with worry; I press my hand down harder on the scent patch on my neck as if it would make it work.

In front of , Jaehyun lifts his hand to his neck to peel off his own scent patch and I gasp as his strong scent fills the elevator.

The strong sll of alpha, of pine and earth- floods the room and I double over with my hands over my stomach and a strong ache in my stomach.

His expression makes frown, "what?" I ask him before turning my head to look at the stainless-steel wall of the elevator that reflected my image.

Seeing the man on the shiny surface made whimper, I look exhausted and weak with my arms around my stomach and my bottom lip jutting out, the worse part of it all are my eyes.

The normally dark orbs are dark blue and glowing.
