Sighing, Adrian turned to Rex, his gaze sharpening as he straightened up.
"Alright. So... what’s the plan?"
"Well... Clent has a collection," Rex exhaled slowly.
Adrian looked up sharply. "What do you an?"
"Videos," Rex said grimly. "A collection of explicit ones—of their sexual encounters."
Adrian stared at him, breathing heavily, his hands curling into fists. "So what now?" His voice was laced with fury.
Rex nodded. "I’m gonna get proof. Real proof. I’m going into his office tonight."
Adrian’s eyes widened. "You’re serious?"
"We can’t just barge into his office," Adrian said.
We? Rex turned to look at him but didn’t say anything.
"Dead serious."
"I have a way to break into his computer. But I need to install sothing on it. A data transfer tool. Once it’s in, I can access everything remotely and upload the files to the cloud."
Adrian exhaled shakily, his fists still clenched. "Then I’m coming with you."
Rex studied him for a mont. He had planned to do this alone, but Adrian had more reason than anyone to see this through. And with two people, they could pull it off faster.
At least he’d have soone on the lookout.
Finally, he nodded. "Alright. But we do this extrely carefully. We’ve got only one chance. No room for mistakes."
Adrian nodded heavily.
"So, when do we start?" he asked with eagerness, an unknown fire burning deep in his eyes.
Looking deeply into his eyes, Rex stared for a mont.
"I know you’re angry. And you’ve got every right to be. But if you’re coming with , you need to keep it under control. One wrong move, and this whole thing blows up."
Adrian exhaled deeply. "Okay, I understand. I was a bit..."
"It’s okay, I understand."
Rex nodded. "The plan will start at 4 p.m. At that ti, there’ll be a faculty eting in another building."
"And that’s our chance. The office building will be completely empty."
Adrian listened intently.
"Clent’s office is on the second floor, so we gotta enter through a side window, and soone has to keep a lookout."
"And you’ll have to do that," he said, patting Adrian’s shoulder.
"Don’t worry. I’ll be extrely careful."
He nodded deeply.
"No need to be so serious. Just inform if soone enters the building—call or text imdiately."
"Huh!"
Adrian gave a firm nod.
"And after that, just leave the rest to ," Rex said confidently with a smile.
Seeing Rex so confident, Adrian’s own confidence began to rise.
"Hmmm! Let’s see how those bitches react when everyone knows their true face," Adrian said grimly, with a cruel smile, like a third-rate villain.
"Okay, okay, Mr. Villain. Go ho and freshen up," Rex said, pointing at his crumpled-up clothes.
"You don’t wanna spend the whole day like this?"
Adrian also looked at his haggard appearance and suddenly felt so embarrassed he wanted to dig into the earth using an earth escape technique.
Before, he wasn’t in the mood and didn’t pay much attention to his appearance, but now, hearing Rex ntion it...,
"Okay, I gotta go... for now."
"Okay," Rex said, waving his hand. "Just rember to be back at 3 p.m."
"I know..." Adrian called out loudly as he hurried ho.
Left alone, Rex leaned back on the bench and shook his head with a sigh.
After so ti, he also stood up and went on with his usual daily routine.
Anyway, he had prepared everything he could. Now, all he had to do was wait—wait for the right ti.
Back in class, he removed his glasses and cap and sat in his usual seat.
Like always, due to the perk of being handso, other students, especially girls, greeted him enthusiastically.
He didn’t pretend to be high and mighty and greeted everyone cordially. They might seem a bit nymphomaniac, but anyone who could get admission here wasn’t ordinary. They all had sothing to rely on.
It may be themselves, or their families, or both, just like his previous self.
Soon, Professor Clent also arrived with heavy steps.
As soon as he entered the room, the atmosphere seed to subtly change, with so students occasionally peeking at Rex.
Rex just shrugged. He couldn’t do anything. Who told Clent to target him every day?
As Clent arrived at his table, everyone braced themselves for the next show.
But even after waiting for a while, nothing strange happened.
No mocking comnts. No glares. No veiled insults.
Professor Clent greeted everyone and, without even looking at Rex, started the class directly.
Everyone looked at each other, confusion visible in the room.
As the class went on, they noticed it more and more...today, let alone mocking or ridiculing, he didn’t even look at Rex.
As if everything before had been a collective hallucination.
"Hey, hey, isn’t it strange that he didn’t say anything to Rex today?" a student whispered to his friend.
"How would I know?" his friend replied.
"But yeah, it is. Logically, he should’ve jabbed a shot at him by now."
It wasn’t just them who were confused. Other students were too.
"Had they reconciled?"
"Does that an the rumors are true, that Rex’s family is so powerful even the professor is afraid of him?"
"Who knows? I thought it was just a rumor."
"Tsk. It seems like the matter has been resolved."
So students felt disappointed. They had been enjoying the daily showdown between the two.
Rex also heard so of their conversations, but he thought differently. He knew it was the calm before the storm.
If he didn’t have a system mission, he might’ve been fooled.
But now, he narrowed his eyes and sneered, looking at Clent’s back.
Humph! Now it’s just a matter of ti. Let’s see how he reacts when he sees his carefully prepared ’gift’.
The rest of the class went on without any problems, and the professor calmly left after finishing the lecture.
There were no surprises, and the rest of the day passed smoothly.
At 3 p.m., Rex finished his last class of the day.
He sat on the sa bench from the morning, as they had designated it as the eting spot.
As the ti ca closer and closer, his heart pounded harder, and he kept clenching and relaxing his hands.
"Hey!"
Hearing the sudden voice, he looked up and saw a neat-looking Adrian walking toward him.
He exhaled deeply and stood up.
It was ti.
"Ti to start the plan."
