Of course, a car like this could never be lonely.Even in the far corner of the lot, the ferreri was a magnet. A cluster of students had gathered like moths to a fla, circling it at careful distances, phones outstretched. So crouched low, trying to get the perfect angle for a photo. Others whispered like they were in a museum, afraid that speaking too loud might disturb the aura. It wasn’t just a vehicle anymore... it was a campus celebrity by now, a four-wheeled superstar.

Anyways, seeing a beauty and a beautiful car, it’s always customary for n to stop and take a good look, that’s the basics of bro code.

But the mont Rex appeared in the distance, flanked by Sophie, Hannah, Daisy, and Elara, the whole vibe shifted. Conversations cut off mid-sentence. The photo-taking students stiffened, as if they’d been caught doing sothing bad, or maybe it was just the intimidation of facing the real owner. Awkward laughs slipped out, and one by one, they started shuffling backward, their smiles fading into sheepish looks. No one wanted to be the idiot standing between the actual owner and his ride.

Though, envy didn’t fade away, if anything, it beca even more intense seeing him strolling with a group of beauties, unmasked and bitter.

By now, the whole university knew it was Rex’s car. So people still whispered skepticism... Wasn’t this guy broke before? How the hell does he suddenly own a Ferreri? But doubts didn’t matter when the proof was parked right here in front of them. The ferreri sat gleaming in the sunlight, indifferent to their doubts, and speculation.

Sophie, naturally, was the first to react. Her eyes widened to saucers the second she got a proper look. "Oh. My. Freaking. God." And in the next second she was practically skipping forward, fingertips hovering before finally brushing reverently along the smooth curve of the hood.

"Oh. My. God." She dragged out each word like she was worshipping. "This is what you call a car, and not just any car, but an art on wheel!"

She ran her hand along the sleek red surface like she was afraid it would vanish if she let go, her voice bubbling with unfiltered excitent.

Even Hannah and Daisy, who normally had zero interest in cars, couldn’t hide their reactions. Hannah’s eyes softened with sothing close to awe as she studied the sharp, flawless curves, "I don’t know much about cars," she admitted, "but... this is indeed beautiful."

"Right, right!" Sophie chid in, practically glowing with happiness at seeing the usually taciturn Hannah actually agree with her. It was such a rare win that she wanted to savor it, though her eyes never once left the ferreri. She circled it like a kid in a candy store, grinning ear to ear. "See? Even Hannah’s admitting it—this car is on a whole different level!"

Her excitent spilled into laughter, and she kept leaning closer. She even turned toward Daisy expectantly, like she was waiting for backup praise, even acting like she herself owned the ferreri . Daisy raised a brow, clearly not as car-crazy as Sophie.

"I guess... it’s kind of cool," Daisy said at first, her tone casual. But when she caught Sophie’s face fall, eyes narrowing like they were about to shoot lasers... she quickly added, "Okay, fine. It’s gorgeous."

That got Sophie beaming again as she whipped her head back toward the car, satisfied. Daisy wasn’t really into machines and horsepower, never had been. She preferred quiet cafés, books, and design blogs. Cars were just... cars. But even she had to admit this one wasn’t ordinary. The explosive red paint, the dramatic curves, the way light slid down its body like liquid seed really dazzling. To her though, it stopped there: dazzling, yes, but not sothing that stirred her heart. It was cool to look at, sure, yet still just a car in the end. That’s it.

Elara lingered a few steps behind, but even she couldn’t stop her gaze from darting toward the car again and again, her quiet deanor betraying a rare spark of wonder.

And all around them, the students who hadn’t left yet kept watching, their stares practically drilling into Rex’s back. So were jealous, so bitter, so outright hateful, but one shared thought ran through every mind.

Why him?

Which happens to be one of the eternal mysteries of the universe, unanswered since the dawn of ti. Just like why do n have, you know, n’s stuff, and why do won have womanly areas. Why does so people’s lunch always look better even though we ordered the sa thing? Why does he get to walk around with the car, the money, and the girls? Why does his luck look like a cheat code while the rest of us are stuck grinding?

It was the sa vibe. The kind of unfair, cosmic "why" that made you want to punch the air but also laugh at the absurdity of life. But no one could answer those questions. No philosopher, no scientist, no genius system user. Such was the unfairness of life.

Anyway, back to the topic. Seeing the girls gush over the car, Rex couldn’t help but feel a wave of satisfaction. Which boy didn’t like praise from girls, especially when those girls happened to be pretty, stylish, and the center of attention on campus? It was like fuel for the male ego, pure and simple.

But still instead of grinning like an idiot, or worse, so show-off clown, he kept his cool, straightened his shoulders, and put on his best casual, nonchalant face... as if this kind of thing was totally normal for him. Like, oh yeah, of course I own a ferreri, what else would I be driving, a beat-up Tayota?

Of course, he was being pretentious, but so what? Isn’t life all about pretending? That was the ga everyone played. n pretended to be gentlen, opening doors and acting noble when half the ti they were just trying to look good. Won pretended to be demure and reserved, even if inside they were rolling their eyes.
