The abandoned factory on the west side of the Capital City.

Osiris’s once-confident expression suddenly froze, for he realized he could no longer sense those three streams of curse power.

The curse power seed to vanish all of a sudden!

Unfathomably strange!

Unease crept into his heart. He closed his eyes, his fingers moving slightly. In an instant, a phantom like an illusory mirage took shape before him.

Within the phantom, faint sparks of fire flickered faintly.

Staring at the elusive firelight, confusion etched itself onto his aged face, and he muttered under his breath, "Firelight? Why is there firelight? Even Huaxia’s sacred fla shouldn’t be able to suppress my curse power. Could there have been so unforeseen change?

Have my curse powers been unraveled by that brat? Impossible! Even if it’s unraveled, so what!

How could the ants of Huaxia decipher our empire’s shadow curses!"

Fury erupted across his face as he suddenly thrust out his withered hand, clawing toward that strand of firelight!

But before his hand could even touch the phantom flas, it shrank back instantly!

He had felt an intense searing heat pierce through dozens of miles of distance and injure him!

This... was simply unfathomable!

Staring at his now slightly scorched fingers, he clenched his hand tightly, veins bulging on his aged knuckles.

"There’s sothing peculiar about this fire... What kind of fire is this, to actually neutralize my curse power!"

His face was overwheld by shock.

He sensed that the Huaxia of the distant past, the Huaxia he had once set foot upon, bore a profound and mysterious contrast to the Huaxia of today.

But this discrepancy—what exactly it was—was sothing he could not pinpoint.

No one could clearly discern Osiris’s expression in this mont.

After a few seconds of pondering, Osiris shifted his gaze upward. High above him lood a massive nine-headed serpent, shrouded in layers of dark mist.

Its body was now sprouting black scales, as though undergoing so form of evolution.

This was his trump card.

The strongest trump card of all.

One powerful enough to destroy the entire Capital City.

...

The Hidden Gate.

In the extre northern lands.

The Dragon Clan.

Inside an imnse hall adorned with countless murals of Divine Dragons.

The hall was saturated with an infinite amount of spiritual energy!

The spiritual energy here far surpassed that of any cultivation ground within the Hidden Gate!

Even the Holy Physician Peak of the Saint Gate paled in comparison to the density of spiritual energy here!

Because beneath this hall lay ten Dragon Veins of varying attributes!

While Huaxia and the Hidden Gate possessed other Dragon Veins, none could compare to those of the Dragon Clan!

At the very center of the hall sat a solitary figure cross-legged in ditation.

The man’s build was robust, his upper body bare, his torso adorned with countless golden dragon shadows writhing and weaving.

The energy of the Dragon Veins surged incessantly into his body!

All of a sudden, the cry of dragons rang out!

The young man’s eyes snapped open, and a raging aura radiated outward, engulfing the space around him! Nine massive dragons erged from within him, roaring skyward!

The dragons danced across the nine heavens!

The young man’s lips curved into a smile. He extended his hand, palm open, where a necklace resembling a pocket watch rested.

With a flicker of thought, the pocket watch snapped open, revealing a photograph within.

The photo depicted a resolute-looking young man whose side was adorned by a hovering giant dragon.

"Father, how are you? Please wait just a little longer for .

The throne of the Dragon Clan is within my grasp. As long as I personally slay that man, the Dragon Clan shall proclaim king!

By then, no one in the entire Hidden Gate would dare lift a finger against you!

Because I will no longer rely call myself The Celestial Dragon King. I will be the true King of the Nine Heavens Dragon Hall!"

With that, Ren Ao Tian closed his eyes once more, hanging the pocket watch necklace around his neck. The watch emitted a faint, eerie glow.

Dazzling and magnificent.

He was fully aware that ti was running out for him. He didn’t know if his father had stepped into the Transcendence Realm. Considering the reckless trouble his father had stirred in the past, he was surely in so sort of trouble now.

Not to ntion, without him as a key ally, the path within the Hidden Gate would certainly be fraught with peril.

...

"Achoo!"

Far away, in the mundane world of the Capital City, Ren Feifan sneezed. Rubbing his nose, he muttered to himself, "Is soone talking about ?"

Shaking his head with a wry smile, he turned his thoughts elsewhere, glancing at the distant figure of Big Huang. At this mont, Big Huang’s aura had finally stabilized.

The two energies were deadlocked, unable to gain the upper hand over one another. Big Huang’s lightning arcs played a crucial role in maintaining this fragile balance.

The battle for control wouldn’t be resolved any ti soon.

Ren Feifan didn’t plan to wait any longer. Just as he was about to head to his training room, his phone began to ring.

It was Wang Zhen from the National Security Bureau.

"Feifan, there’s news about Osiris. et at the usual spot in ten minutes."

Wang Zhen hung up imdiately after, his tone urgent.

Ren Feifan, naturally understanding what Wang Zhen ant by "the usual spot," drove to a tea house in the Capital City.

The tea house was serene, surrounded by a bamboo forest that lent it a tranquil charm.

Ren Feifan entered a private room. Upon opening the door, he imdiately noticed two people inside.

One was Wang Zhen, and the other, an elderly man with a head full of white hair. The old man’s kindly expression fixated on Ren Feifan, his gaze trembling with excitent.

After a long silence, the old man suppressed his inner emotions, ticulously brewing a cup of tea for the empty cup beside him, his movents practiced and smooth.

"Master Ren, please."

In Huaxia’s mundane world, the boundaries of cultivation levels weren’t clearly defined; strong individuals were generally referred to as either masters or grandmasters.

The term "Grandmaster" was usually reserved for experts in cultivation and martial arts.

Wang Zhen nodded toward Ren Feifan, then turned to the elder beside him and said, "Master Zheng, explain in detail what you just told ."

Master Zheng didn’t imdiately respond but instead turned his gaze toward Ren Feifan, smiling warmly. "Master Ren, the tales don’t do you justice. A grandmaster so young, yet already a living legend—this old man is in awe."

Master Zheng had long desired to latch onto soone powerful to ascend to greater heights, and Ren Feifan was indisputably the pinnacle of power in the mundane world.

With Ren Feifan as his backer, he would be untouchable in the secular world.

Ren Feifan sat down without ceremony, his distaste for such flattery evident. Taking a sip of tea, he said directly to Master Zheng, "If you know anything about Osiris, speak clearly. It’s extrely important to ."

Master Zheng stroked his beard, hesitating as he spoke. "Master Ren, I have a small request."

"Speak!" Ren Feifan’s tone grew impatient.

Though the man was being deferential, it was clear he sought personal gain.

Given the current crisis, Ren Feifan was willing to put up with it temporarily.

Master Zheng brightened, quickly stating, "Master Ren, I’ve heard that your Gui Sect is in need of talent. Would you consider taking in? I vow to serve the Gui Sect and Master Ren with unwavering loyalty."

Ren Feifan’s expression turned icy.

He had just dealt with eliminating disciples who had entered the Saint Gate through backdoor channels. Now, soone dared openly request preferential treatnt!

If this got out, where would his authority as the Saint Sovereign stand?

"Smack!"

Ren Feifan slamd his palm on the table.

The table shattered into countless pieces, even the delicate porcelain tea set splintering instantly!

Tea splashed, soaking Master Zheng’s trousers.

"Don’t even think about it!"
