For a long while, Lin Langtian went ahead towards the backyard on his own.
When he was halfway there, he stopped and suddenly turned around, asking Ren Feifan, “By the way, what’s your na?”

In the next mont, his hand touched the high wall. A crack appeared on the wall, opening up as though a grand gate had been unveiled.

I had always thought the formation was inside the high wall, but never did I guess the wall itself was part of the formation. It’s likely that this entire temple is a formation. I can’t believe I didn’t sense it earlier.”
Without thinking further, Ren Feifan stepped inside.
As his body passed into the backyard, the crack suddenly closed!
Behind him was now a sealed and impenetrable wall!
Once inside, Ren Feifan saw that the courtyard was vast beyond imagining, stretching out so far it was impossible to see where it ended.
There were mountains, rivers, and waterfalls, an elegant and serene environnt that seed ideal for habitation.
A bamboo grove surrounded the area.
Sichuan, the holand of giant pandas, is known for its soil, which is remarkably suited for growing bamboo.
Gazing into the distance, the green bamboo forest was lush and dense, layer upon layer. Up close, the bamboo stood tall and straight, reaching towards the heavens. The forest resembled a green canopy, shielding the sky and dimming the sun.
At the heart of the bamboo grove was a small wooden hut.
A large plaque hung atop the hut, inscribed with three bold characters spelling “Lin Langtian,” commanding awe and reverence.
Flanking the plaque were two poetic lines:
“The madness of heaven and earth will not change my heart; Reincarnation of the six realms—I am undying and eternal!”
Ren Feifan gazed at the verses, montarily stunned!

Indeed, Lin Langtian had achieved the state of undying and eternal by consuming that tenth-grade elixir, so the poem was likely a tribute to himself.

With that, Lin Langtian opened the door and walked into the hut.
His silhouette carried an air of desolation.
Ren Feifan took one last look at the poem, sighed deeply, then followed him inside.
Inside the wooden hut.
Lin Langtian sat cross-legged on the floor. The room was starkly bare, save for a single lamp—a perpetual green fla.
“The hut is plain and has no chairs. Find sowhere to sit as you please,” Lin Langtian remarked.
Ren Feifan glanced around but saw no proper place to sit. He casually retrieved a reclining chair from his mysterious space, reclining with ease.
All that was missing now was a fan in his hand.
Lin Langtian noticed this scene, and the corners of his mouth twitched slightly, but he said nothing.
“Tell everything you know about the Lock God Formation.”
Without hesitation, Ren Feifan began recounting everything from the Lock God Formation beneath the Heavenly Pool, the conflict involving the ancient Divine Dragon and Kylin, to the Hidden Gate’s Secret Realms and the Ancient Divine Tiger, along with the forces behind the Lock God Formation itself, sparing no detail.
Lin Langtian’s eyes narrowed. His initially calm expression shifted to one filled with fury, and, by the end, his anger gradually dissipated.
After a long pause, Lin Langtian said, “I’ve indeed noticed changes in the Lock God Formation over the past few years. But to be honest, I’ve been avoiding it.”
Ren Feifan was stunned. He never imagined Lin Langtian was aware of the situation with the Lock God Formation yet chose to avoid it. He sprang to his feet, pointing angrily at Lin Langtian, shouting, “Elder Lin, as the only remaining link to the Lock God Formation, how dare you evade responsibility! Do you realize if anything goes wrong with the Lock God Formation, both the secular world and the Hidden Gate will suffer irrevocably?”
Lin Langtian remained indifferent to Ren Feifan’s accusations.
“Young man, there are things you do not understand. The Five Lock God Arrays were not established by alone but by one hundred ancient array masters! Each group of twenty worked independently, their findings kept confidential from others, to prevent betrayal from within. And now that a calamity has struck the Lock God Formation, do you think one man alone can change its fate? You’re too naive.
The grand ga of ancient tis is beyond what anyone can resist. Even if ten array masters like were still alive, it wouldn’t be enough to stop it.”
Ren Feifan laughed bitterly, tempted to storm out of the room!
He had imagined Lin Langtian as a noble and upright figure, but to his disappointnt, the man seed no more than a cowardly, self-serving individual.
“Elder Lin, there’s sothing I must inform you of. Only two Lock God Arrays remain in the Hidden Gate. One has already been completely dismantled by that faction, and the ancient Xuanwu has forsaken its original purpose, becoming a re mount for that faction—wantonly sowing chaos!
The Ancient Divine Tiger warned that, without Xuanwu’s suppression, Huaxia’s Lock God Formation is on the verge of collapse! When that suppressed entity awakens, the consequences will be catastrophic! Elder Lin, have you spared a thought for the billions of lives in the secular world?”
Finally, a hint of emotion flickered in Lin Langtian’s eyes. His hands trembled, but ultimately he closed his eyes again.
After a long ti, he opened his eyes, tilted his head up, and muttered to the ceiling, “The ancient Xuanwu has betrayed? It’s betrayed? So now only Vermilion Bird remains… The situation is worse than I imagined.”
Ren Feifan was utterly exasperated with Lin Langtian. What use was lantation now? Action was what mattered! He pressed on, “Elder Lin, if you refuse to act, then I shall act in your place! Tell , where is the Vermilion Bird Lock God Formation?”
Lin Langtian shook his head, “As I said, the Five Lock God Arrays were created by one hundred array masters, and I was involved with the Divine Dragon Lock God Formation. As for Vermilion Bird, I know nothing.”
“Then, if Huaxia’s Lock God Formation is completely destroyed, what will happen? What exactly is the entity it’s suppressing?” Ren Feifan demanded to know.
For a mont, Lin Langtian’s gaze shifted, hesitated for a while, then softly said, “If the Lock God Formation is destroyed, the ancient evil being will break free. In the current secular world and Hidden Gate, no one could stand against this being. If that happens, the land will be drenched in blood.”
“If that’s the case, why is that faction pursuing this? What’s in it for them?” Ren Feifan asked.
Lin Langtian shook his head and laughed bitterly. Suddenly, killing intent radiated from him!
This was the first ti in thousands of years that Lin Langtian had unleashed his killing intent!
“Hmph! Those arrogant fools think they can ta the ancient evil being for their own use. What they don’t understand is how terrifying it truly is! Once unleashed, the first to perish will be them—a troupe of beasts!”
