Chapter 880: Chapter 880: Three n Strolling in the Mall
Zhang Dongxu always thought he was the one who hard Xiang Yu. His decision to leave for a while was also for Xiang Yu’s safety.
After everything that had happened, he began to believe he might truly be a harbinger of bad luck.
“I know what you’re thinking. Since we’ve chosen this path, we must always be prepared to get taken out,” Xiang Yu said with a smile, looking at Zhang Dongxu. “Honestly, there was a ti when I wished I didn’t make it.”
“Brother Yu, you absolutely can’t think like that. So many of the brothers are relying on you,” Zhang Dongxu said quickly.
“Go back now, and rember this: As long as soone is a brother of mine, I will protect him,” Xiang Yu said firmly, before standing on the balcony and quietly gazing outside.
Seeing this, Zhang Dongxu nodded and left.
By noon the next day, Xiang Yu and the other two had arrived at the mall’s building. Since Ren Baohe said the explosion would occur at noon, it was possible the bombs were already planted.
Xiang Yu walked from the first floor to the top floor but didn’t find anything suspicious. It was just as the three were about to go downstairs that two security guards blocked Xiang Yu’s path.
“You idiot! Last ti I let you go, why are you back again?” One of the guards, seeing it was Xiang Yu, finally spoke.
Tie Zhuzi didn’t say a word, stepping forward and delivering two hard slaps to each of them.
“Get out of the way, or I’ll ruin you both,” Tie Zhuzi threatened.
The two guards, seeing Tie Zhuzi’s tall and intimidating physique, hurriedly ran off, seemingly to call reinforcents.
Xiang Yu couldn’t be bothered with them and headed straight to the surveillance room. The surveillance room was inside the security office, a place not accessible to ordinary people.
“You three are bold! I haven’t co to find you, but here you are barging in,” said a burly security guard, standing there accompanied by four more guards.
They had already seen Tie Zhuzi make his move earlier via the security caras, which was why they had rallied reinforcents to confront Xiang Yu.
“I have business to attend to; move aside,” Xiang Yu said calmly.
“You think this is what, your family’s stove? Boys, grab the three of them first and we’ll talk later,” the security leader shouted.
Before he could finish his sentence, Tie Zhuzi stepped forward, grabbed the man by his collar, and slamd him straight to the ground.
The four guards behind him each received a slap from Xiao Xuan.
The security leader wasn’t foolish. Lying on the ground, he realized the clear disparity between himself and the other party and quickly softened his tone. “Brothers, let’s talk this out peacefully. This was all a misunderstanding.”
Xiang Yu ignored him and walked straight into the surveillance room. These days, Xiang Yu rarely fought personally.
Ever since practicing boxing every morning, he felt an endless surge of power within him. Whenever he started, it beca hard to stop. The last ti he fought that black mobster, he hadn’t expected to deliver such force.
Tie Zhuzi did not make things difficult for the security guards. After all, they were ordinary people just trying to earn a living.
“You lot, squat here properly and don’t move,” Tie Zhuzi ordered the bunch, making them line up and squat in place.
anwhile, Xiang Yu walked directly to the surveillance room administrator.
“Rewind all the footage,” Xiang Yu demanded plainly.
The administrator was so engrossed in his work that he hadn’t noticed what had just transpired outside. Raising his head to look at Xiang Yu, he asked curiously, “Who are you? How did you get in here?”
Tie Zhuzi was about to step forward and threaten the man when Xiang Yu abruptly said, “Major Cri Unit, Police Squad, Xiang Mao. Hurry and retrieve the footage—stop wasting ti. If anything goes wrong, you’re the one accountable.”
The administrator glanced back at Xiang Yu again. Seeing his serious expression, he assud Xiang Yu was not lying, so he nodded and imdiately began rewinding the footage.
Tie Zhuzi couldn’t help but admire Xiang Yu, noting that when it ca to lying, he was no match for Xiang Yu.
“Stop at Cara One,” Xiang Yu suddenly commanded about thirty minutes later.
On the screen of Cara One appeared a man wearing a baseball cap and dressed in casual attire.
At first glance, Xiang Yu knew this man was Ren Baohe.
“Are you looking for him?” the administrator asked suddenly.
“Do you know him?” Xiang Yu inquired.
The administrator shook his head with a laugh. “He’s quite odd—you should take a look.”
The administrator then adjusted all the cara feeds. In every shot, Ren Baohe was smiling directly at the cara.
Watching these scenes, Xiang Yu suddenly felt as if Ren Baohe was smiling at him—a deliberate, taunting gesture.
At that mont, Xiang Yu’s phone rang. It was a call from Ren Baohe.
“So, how do you like my smiling face?” Ren Baohe asked gleefully. He had anticipated Xiang Yu would go to the surveillance room.
Xiang Yu snorted coldly; the man was simply overconfident. To openly expose himself to the caras like that was sheer provocation.
“Sorry, I’m not interested in n,” Xiang Yu retorted sharply. “But judging by that broad grin of yours, it’s safe to say your ass is probably too wide to close.”
Ren Baohe froze for a mont, unable to process what Xiang Yu had said.
When he finally understood, just as he was about to respond, Xiang Yu hung up abruptly, leaving Ren Baohe so enraged he nearly smashed his phone.
Tomorrow at noon, the bombs would detonate. Ren Baohe wanted to see what Xiang Yu was truly capable of. He had warned Xiang Yu earlier—every explosion would cost one of Xiang Yu’s close allies their life.
Having seen enough and gaining no further value from the footage, Xiang Yu called Tie Zhuzi and the team to leave.
As the three departed, the security leader got up from the ground, pointed at his n, and said, “None of you are to talk about what happened today. They’re with the police—don’t interfere with their investigation, got it?” The leader glared as he spoke.
In truth, he wanted to save face, which was why he instructed everyone to keep quiet.
The others naturally had no objections—they had all been slapped around and had no desire to prolong the embarrassnt.
The three n had nothing else to do and began wandering aimlessly around the mall. Eventually, each of them bought a sharp suit, appearing much more spirited.
Especially Xiang Yu and Xiao Xuan—once dressed in their suits, they looked like completely different people, drawing friendly glances from both young won and married won in the mall.
However, Tie Zhuzi looked sowhat comical in his suit, as it was a bit too small for his bulky fra. The three had scoured the entire mall but couldn’t find one that fit him perfectly.
In the end, he had to settle for a suit two sizes smaller.
The three wandered the mall so much that even the staff recognized them. This made them feel a bit awkward—after all, it was usually won who enjoyed leisurely shopping, not grown n.
And certainly not big, burly n, which made them look rather ridiculous.
After three rounds through the mall and just as they were about to start a fourth, a short-haired woman dressed in professional attire approached them.
She had an excellent figure and a lovely oval-shaped face that gave her an air of charm. Standing in front of Xiang Yu, she blocked his path and said, “You gentlen have been wandering here all day. Is there anything I can assist you with?”
