600: Chapter 600: This is Xiang Yu’s Mistake 600: Chapter 600: This is Xiang Yu’s Mistake Xiang Yu and the others had chosen a very secluded hotel to stay in, as there were many rumors about the Evil God in the city now, and they were just waiting for the opportunity.

“Are all the brothers hidden?” Xiang Yu asked, looking at Wang Ze.

“Don’t worry, big brother, everything is foolproof,” Wang Ze said confidently.

It was already nine o’clock in the evening, and Xiang Yu had been watching the news all along.

But today’s news did not report on this matter, nor did any officials co out to make a statent; the event seed like an illusion, disappearing without a trace soon after it happened.

Logically, after such an incident, there would be enormous uproar.

It would cause a sensation, and then the authorities would dispatch police to clamp down on the Evil God organization.

But the developnt of events didn’t seem to go so smoothly.

The news only spread wildly during the day, but by evening, it had quieted down.

Neither the TV news nor the internet had any information about today’s events.

“How could this be, what the hell are these dia doing?” Tie Zhuzi shouted angrily.

He had thought his performance today was pretty spectacular and wanted to see the impact of his actions, but it turned out to be like casting stones into the ocean, leaving him very frustrated.

“This matter is significant; could it be that they are brewing sothing and waiting to burst out altogether in a couple of days?” Wu Jing analyzed.

In a first-tier city, this kind of event could lead to speculation about an international incident, so the nation would certainly take it seriously.

Then professional specialists would be deployed to investigate.

To see whether it was the work of a terrorist organization or just so local thugs intent on creating chaos.

Xiang Yu pondered and shook his head there.

If that was the case, relevant departnts would surely have co forward first to stabilize public sentint, and then make a statent that they would crack down severely.

But there was not a single statent now, nor even a ntion on the news, which showed that soone influential had suppressed this event.

There must be a powerful figure supporting the Evil God from behind.

A cold glint flashed in Xiang Yu’s eyes; it seed he had underestimated this organization.

He had thought he could take advantage of the authorities’ influence to annihilate the organization in one fell swoop, but he didn’t expect the organization to be so deeply entrenched in the city.

Having realized this, Xiang Yu suddenly opened his eyes and said to Wang Ze, “Notify all the brothers now and tell them to get out of here imdiately.”

Wang Ze was startled, thinking he had misheard, then looked at Xiang Yu with so confusion and asked, “Now?”

“Right now, imdiately,” Xiang Yu emphasized seriously.

Since the other side had the capacity to suppress the matter, Xiang Yu estimated his tricks might also have been exposed.

If that was the case, it would be dangerous for his people to remain hidden here.

Seeing how serious Xiang Yu was, Wang Ze quickly took out his phone to give the order.

Tie Zhuzi also hurriedly pulled out his phone.

Just then, Xiao Xuan suddenly called Xiang Yu.

A bad feeling suddenly arose in his heart.

“Speak,” Xiang Yu said tersely.

“Bro, He Yuntian is having a secret eting with soone in a hotel right now.

I don’t know what they are talking about from outside,” Xiao Xuan said.

He had been ordered to follow He Yuntian covertly and report imdiately to Xiang Yu if He Yuntian made any moves.

Xiao Xuan was not sure who the person He Yuntian was eting with, so he called Xiang Yu.

After thinking for a mont, Xiang Yu continued, “Don’t startle the snake.

For now, you just have to follow him; do not disturb him, no matter what he does.”

Xiao Xuan didn’t know what Xiang Yu had in mind but simply acknowledged and then hung up the phone.

Wang Ze and Tie Zhuzi had notified everyone except for He Yuntian.

“Should we leave now?” Wu Jing asked, serious and focused, as he looked towards Xiang Yu.

Now that the enemy knew their plans, they would certainly increase patrols and search all the hotels.

Staying here was indeed dangerous.

Xiang Yu nodded, not daring to take any chances at such a critical ti.

Ensuring everyone’s safety was paramount.

With that in mind, they quickly gathered their belongings and headed downstairs.

Just as they were exiting the stairwell and about to turn a corner, Xiang Yu suddenly extended his hand to stop everyone.

He heard several people checking rooms nearby, dressed in plainclothes, yet holding identification from so official departnt.

After those people entered a room, Xiang Yu and his group made a hasty departure from the hotel.

It seed their adversaries were acting quickly, with a widespread search.

They had already reached this place so fast, but thankfully they had already inford their brothers below.

Xiang Yu knew that even though those people had identification in hand, it must be fake.

The Evil God organization had beco lawless to such an extent — the thought was chilling.

Once out of the hotel, Xiang Yu and his companions quickly got into their car.

Xiang Yu then turned to Wang Ze and said, “Contact the brothers, see if they’re all safe.”

Wang Ze was also worried and began making calls to each of them.

“Big brother, be careful out there.

Many roads have checkpoints, and they’re conducting searches,” advised one of their comrades.

“Tell them to hurry ho and not stay around here.

We’ll deal with this matter later,” Xiang Yu said with a stern face.

Wang Ze nodded and quickly passed on the ssage.

“What about Xiao Xuan?” Wu Jing reminded.

“Xiao Xuan knows his limits.

Leave him be for now,” Xiang Yu was confident in Xiao Xuan.

With Xiao Xuan’s abilities, even if his identity were exposed, catching him wouldn’t be easy.

By then, Xiang Yu had pretty much confird that Yuntian had betrayed them.

A hidden pain welled up in his heart; the taste of betrayal by a brother was indeed unbearable.

Even though their bond with Yuntian wasn’t deep, he was still one of their own.

Xiang Yu had suspected this might happen and regretted letting Yuntian join their Dragon Squad.

Back then, Xiang Yu had hoped that fostering camaraderie would be enough.

But Yuntian’s true nature proved unchangeable.

“Let’s go back,” Xiang Yu said grimly.

Having been involved in the underworld for so long, this was the first ti he had felt such a sense of defeat.

He had underestimated Liu Lianyu.

The fact that Lianyu had survived until now spoke volus.

He wasn’t going to be so easily eradicated by Xiang Yu, who might have been too eager for victory.

Pressed for ti, he had aid for a swift resolution, which had led to this situation.

Fortunately, his brothers could retreat in one piece.

If they had been trapped there, he would have lived with imnse regret.

During that one mission, he was the only one from his squad who had managed to escape, a pain that would haunt him for life.

He vowed never to let such a thing happen again.

Therefore, he resolutely chose to retreat, to wait for a better opportunity to return.

Although they had t as criminals, it didn’t affect their brotherly bond.

Xiang Yu wouldn’t let them sacrifice in vain.

Just as Tie Zhuzi was about to start the car, eight individuals from the hotel began approaching them…
