Several military doctors hurried forward upon hearing this, as Tianyu Hospital was their last hope. If even this hope was extinguished, then this person truly could not be saved.
"Director Liu, we hope you will save him; he is very important to us," the military doctors pleaded as they approached.
Liu Yuhang frowned and said seriously, "Don’t worry, I will do my utmost to save him. As for whether he can be saved, that’s up to fate."
After saying this, Liu Yuhang turned and walked toward the operating room. The more urgent the situation, the greater the pressure on him.
Seeing this, Cheng Wulan also quickly followed. She had only spoken those words earlier in a mont of confusion.
Now, she is a doctor, and the duty of a doctor is to heal and save lives. She felt ashad of her previous words.
Both of them entered the operating room and closed the door behind them, where doctors were already examining the patient.
"How is it?" Liu Yuhang asked as he entered.
"The issue is complex; we’ve never seen a case like this before," said one of the doctors, frowning.
Liu Yuhang stepped forward and first looked at the patient’s face, but just one glance made his whole body tremble.
He could never have imagined that the patient was actually Xiang Yu.
How could this be? Liu Yuhang’s mind went blank, and he was a bit overwheld.
Xiang Yu was perfectly fine, so why was he mixed up with the military, and now poisoned?
He quickly regained his composure, then covered Xiang Yu’s face with a cloth.
Seeing Liu Yuhang looking pale, Cheng Wulan asked worriedly, "Are you okay?"
Liu Yuhang took a deep breath and then shook his head, saying, "I’m fine, just a bit stressed."
Cheng Wulan glanced at the patient’s face but didn’t intentionally take a closer look as it was covered with a white cloth.
"You should perform this surgery; it’ll be good practice," suggested Liu Yuhang.
"... No way, you want to do such an important surgery? Not to ntion this person’s identity, which is certainly not ordinary. You should do it," Cheng Wulan replied.
Liu Yuhang nodded and smiled lightly, "I have confidence in you. We agreed that this surgery would be your task, and I’ll assist you."
The pressure on Cheng Wulan was enormous. She knew that the person in front of her was not ordinary, and any mishap could have dire consequences.
"Let’s first assess his condition," Cheng Wulan said, instead of directly agreeing, as they hadn’t yet figured out the patient’s situation.
Once the situation is clear, Cheng Wulan can decide whether she should perform the surgery.
"Heart rate normal, blood sugar normal, oxygen saturation normal..." the doctors conducting the tests continuously reported.
Various indicators were reported, showing nothing abnormal in the patient’s body.
This was within Liu Yuhang’s expected range. Treating illnesses isn’t hard; the difficulty is that the cause isn’t apparent.
"Check his brain waves," Liu Yuhang instructed while standing there.
The doctors nodded and started examining Xiang Yu’s head.
Many of the indicators from the head were also normal, except the nerve composition seed different, as if affected by so stimulus.
"It’s discovered, a small portion of brain nerves is damaged," one doctor said, frowning.
It was the first ti he had encountered such a condition.
When Liu Yuhang saw the indicators displayed on the instrunts, he frowned slightly.
His greatest fear had beco a reality; with the current equipnt, they were not capable of performing this brain surgery on Xiang Yu.
"I need so equipnt, hurry and contact headquarters to airlift it over," Liu Yuhang said, sowhat urgently.
"Is it that serious?" Cheng Wulan asked, frowning.
Liu Yuhang nodded and looked at the few people around, "First, move him to a ward to rest; I need to make so preparations."
After saying this, he walked outside.
Outside, several military doctors and officers were waiting, and they were surprised to see Liu Yuhang co out so quickly.
"Director Liu, how’s it going?" a particularly anxious military doctor hurriedly ran over to ask.
Always harboring doubt, he thought patients with such conditions couldn’t be treated. Yet, if Liu Yuhang could cure him, he would want to take him as a ntor.
"I need equipnt, and I must see your commander," Liu Yuhang said.
Ti was tight. If Liu Yuhang had to use his own connections to transport equipnt from within the country, it would take a long ti.
During the wait, countless formalities have to be processed. If it took that long, Xiang Yu might not survive.
A few officers contemplated, then picked up the phone to make calls.
About ten minutes later, an officer approached Liu Yuhang respectfully, "Our commander wants to et you."
Liu Yuhang did not hesitate and got into their car.
Arriving at the heavily-guarded presidential residence, Liu Yuhang felt a tinge of excitent.
But saving Xiang Yu was urgent, leaving no ti for sightseeing as he was led directly to et Ailock.
Ailock hadn’t rested yet, still waiting for the outco.
"You must be Doctor Liu?" Ailock extended his hand first.
"Hello, sir," Liu Yuhang quickly approached and respectfully said, "I need equipnt, and it must be dispatched from the headquarters in China. I need it as fast as possible."
Liu Yuhang stated his request directly. Although a bit excited to et Ailock, that paled in comparison to saving Xiang Yu.
Ailock didn’t expect the doctor to be so urgent and nodded, still gentlemanly, "Doctor Liu, don’t be in such a hurry. First, tell about this person’s condition."
"How can I not be in a hurry? Quickly arrange to get the equipnt over; I’m worried about potential danger if we delay." Liu Yuhang responded decisively.
Ailock was left montarily speechless. Even though he was the top figure, the other party showed no deference, which kept him from saying much else.
"Very well, tell what equipnt you need, and I’ll contact China to dispatch soone over," Ailock replied.
"Get in touch with the local governnt there, and I’ll have the equipnt sent to the capital’s airport. You just need to handle the transport," Liu Yuhang stated simply.
Seeing Liu Yuhang’s hurried deanor, Ailock nodded, then stood up and went to the inner room.
anwhile, Liu Yuhang made so calls. Although it was late at night, he had to rush the equipnt to the airport.
This concerned Xiang Yu’s life and could not be taken lightly.
After hanging up the call, Liu Yuhang paced anxiously, worrying about Xiang Yu’s safety, unwilling to sit still.
Yet, after Ailock went inside, he didn’t co back out.
After half an hour with no activity from inside, Liu Yuhang worried whether Ailock had gone to sleep...
