Chapter 1720: Chapter 1721: Xiang Yu Storms into the Fierce Tiger Regint in Rage

Ryan hung up the phone and quickly called Commander Liao.

On the surface, he appeared calm, but he was slightly nervous inside, as the fact that they had a traitor was now established.

**** were planning to act tonight, catching him completely off guard.

“Commander, we have a situation on our side,” Ryan said directly.

Commander Liao could hear the tension in Ryan’s voice and said, “Don’t rush, speak slowly.”

Ryan explained the situation in detail and pointed out the need for support at night.

Commander Liao pondered for a mont and said, “You’ve had quite a few dealings with Keru. What do you think of him?”

Ryan was montarily stunned. He had never doubted Keru’s loyalty. Moreover, Keru knew the location of the base; if he had betrayed them, **** would have acted long ago.

“Very reliable,” Ryan responded decisively.

Commander Liao humd and asked, “Do you have any plans for tonight?”

Ryan thought for a mont and said, “Commander, after so many years of developnt, we now have the strength to face **** head-on. I want to seriously teach him a lesson tonight.”

“It may not be that simple this ti,” Commander Liao said, then continued, “But there’s no need to panic too much. I will have Wu Xuechao assist in your operation.”

“That’s great, with Wu Xuechao and his team’s assistance, the success rate will be much higher,” Ryan said happily.

Wu Xuechao was on par with Ryan, serving as the commander of the second brigade.

“Whether it’s a dragon or a worm, tonight’s battle will tell. Prepare yourself,” Commander Liao said before hanging up the phone.

After hanging up, Ryan called his captains together to讨论对策.

At this mont, Xiang Yu was already in a car outside the visible base of the nghu rcenary Corps.

Soone was already standing outside waiting.

Ryan contacted Xia Cheng by phone, saying he was sending one of his deputies over to discuss matters.

Since it wasn’t Ryan himself coming, Xia Cheng naturally wouldn’t personally greet them. He had one of the captains from the rcenary group receive Xiang Yu.

“Welco, welco,” a middle-aged man said, smiling warmly.

“Where is Xia Cheng?” Xiang Yu asked as he got out of the car.

“Our leader has so matters to attend to and couldn’t co over; I hope you’ll understand,” the middle-aged man laughed.

“Get him over here,” Xiang Yu said as he walked inside, head held high, as if the place was his own territory.

The middle-aged man was initially stunned, his expression showing impatience.

Xia Cheng had instructed him to entertain the visitors warmly, then to show dominance and have a few skilled brothers challenge them.

Unexpectedly, these people were being so unreasonable, first attempting to assert superiority.

The middle-aged man swallowed his pride and continued to smile warmly as he walked to Xiang Yu’s side and said, “I ntioned earlier, our leader has so matters and couldn’t co.”

“What’s more important than eting ? Hurry up, don’t waste ti,” Xiang Yu said as he approached the building.

Although he had never been to this base before, the layout of the complex was similar in structure.

Xiang Yu walked in and brazenly sat on the sofa in the main hall.

The middle-aged man also ca over and sat opposite Xiang Yu, laughing, “I see this captain is quite enthusiastic, perhaps our brothers could spar a bit to test their skills.”

Xiang Yu smirked dismissively, “Let’s not bother, I fear you’d be embarrassed.”

The ten people Xiang Yu brought along were Ryan’s trusted aide unit; although Xiang Yu hadn’t seen their skills, they undoubtedly were not simple.

He ca here to et Xia Cheng, not to engage in any of these trivial matters, so he declined the challenge.

Xiang Yu’s refusal imdiately disrupted the middle-aged man’s plan; he had expected the other party to be proud and not decline.

“Wait a mont, I’ll go make a call.” The middle-aged man said, walking out.

Although Xiang Yu appeared very young, the middle-aged man found it difficult to handle. Moreover, he knew Xiang Yu and his group were not simple, he dared not make decisions without approval.

“Boss, they have arrived and insist on seeing you, they are quite arrogant,” the middle-aged man said.

“Didn’t you follow the plan?” Xia Cheng asked, standing by a floor-to-ceiling window.

Earlier, he had seen Xiang Yu’s convoy from a distance and noticed them getting out of the cars, but hadn’t paid close attention to whom it was.

After all, Xia Cheng had only recently taken over the nghu rcenary Corps and had little contact with the rebels. Among the rebels, the only person he knew was Ryan.

“It’s not that I didn’t follow the plan, it’s just that this guy wasn’t playing by the rules. Besides, he’s very arrogant, insists on speaking with you first,” said the middle-aged man, sowhat anxiously.

“Keep him stable, I’ll be over soon,” Xia Cheng said before hanging up the phone.

“Useless, can’t even handle a deputy,” Xia Cheng muttered as he walked to the back and sat down on the sofa.

The middle-aged man hung up and returned, sitting there.

At this mont, Xiang Yu was lounging on the sofa, feet on the coffee table, humming a tune.

Seeing Xiang Yu acting like this, the middle-aged man felt a indescribable frustration.

“What is the esteed captain’s na?” the middle-aged man asked.

“Why do you need to know? Is Xia Cheng coming or not?” Xiang Yu said impatiently.

“The boss said he’d be here soon, please wait,” the middle-aged man said politely.

“How long is soon? Why don’t you take to him, my ti is precious, can’t wait all day,” Xiang Yu said impatiently.

“Please be patient, the boss will be here in a mont,” the middle-aged man replied, slightly nervous.

Xiang Yu didn’t continue to trouble him and leaned back on the sofa, waiting quietly.

Ten minutes, twenty minutes, nearly an hour passed, and Xia Cheng still hadn’t arrived.

During this ti, Xiang Yu had even taken a nap. Upon waking and finding Xia Cheng still absent, he sat up straight and slamd his hand onto the coffee table.

“Are you ssing with ? I’ve been here so long and he’s still not here?” Xiang Yu said, visibly angry.

The middle-aged man saw Xiang Yu upset, his face betraying a look of difficulty.

His leader had clearly said they would be here shortly, but over an hour had passed without a sign.

He knew Xia Cheng was in another villa not far away and could walk over in ten minutes.

“Don’t get upset, I’ll call him now to inquire,” the middle-aged man said, also slightly annoyed.

When ng Hu was in charge, such situations never occurred. He hadn’t expected Xia Cheng to be so unpunctual, not valuing them at all.

“Who has such a temper?” a voice rang from outside, and a young man walked in.

This man had a delicate appearance, with a scholarly air, though to outsiders, he seed sowhat effeminate. He was Xia Cheng.

Xia Cheng had heard yelling from inside as he approached the door. He found the voice familiar but couldn’t recall where he’d heard it…
