The soldiers were like madn, killing anyone they saw who wasn’t one of their own. Suddenly soone shouted that there were people on the vehicle in front, and all the soldiers frantically surrounded it.

"Everyone, hold your fire." At that mont, Rumus suddenly shouted, covering his mouth with a diaper in his left hand and holding a gun in his right as he walked over.

The person sitting in the car was Xiang Yu.

Xiang Yu calmly got out, shook his head with a wry smile, and said, "Commander, you can put the diaper down now."

Only then did Rumus react, quickly tossing the diaper aside.

The surrounding soldiers also threw down their diapers; this would be a humiliating battle.

"Go search and see if there are any survivors," Rumus instructed the soldiers around him.

Once they confird that Xiang Yu and his group posed no danger, the soldiers dispersed.

"Commander, your soldiers almost killed just now; scared half to death," Xiang Yu said calmly, showing no sign of fear.

"It’s my fault, I didn’t instruct them properly," Rumus replied with an embarrassed smile.

He knew his soldiers were near madness and might have actually fired at Xiang Yu’s group.

"Thank you, it’s all thanks to you this ti," Rumus said sincerely.

Xiang Yu shook his head and smiled, "No need to thank , let’s hurry back to the military district," Xiang Yu said.

Rumus nodded and shouted to gather the troops.

"Brothers, today’s battle was my decision-making mistake..." Rumus first critiqued himself, briefly analyzed the battle, and finally said, "Our military district is still in danger, the rebel army is attacking, the test of us has co, this is a battle for the country..."

Rumus’s words stirred a patriotic fervor in the n, giving them a feeling of willingness to die for their country if necessary.

"Do you have the confidence to win this war?" Rumus shouted from the front.

"Yes!" Everyone shouted in unison, their voices echoing like a mighty river.

"Sleeping here, making such a racket, disturbing my sleep," Tie Zhuzi muttered as he groggily climbed out of the car, a cloth covering his face.

He picked up the cloth, sniffed it, and almost vomited.

"Who did this? I’m going to kill him," Tie Zhuzi shouted as he jumped off the car.

"You’ve been poisoned. If not for this, the poison would be worse," Xiao Xuan said calmly.

"Who poisoned the air? Where is he?" Tie Zhuzi demanded, glaring like a bull ready for battle.

"Over there," Xiao Xuan pointed ahead.

The area was littered with bodies; no living creatures remained, only ghosts.

Tie Zhuzi glanced over, his anger easing slightly. He looked at Xiao Xuan and asked, "Did you put this cloth on ?"

"Cough, cough..." Xiao Xuan coughed dryly twice.

Seeing it was indeed Xiao Xuan’s doing, Tie Zhuzi moved forward and grabbed Xiao Xuan by the neck.

"Wait till I’m done with you; your pee is way too stinky," Tie Zhuzi grumbled.

Just then, Rumus, having finished his speech, walked over.

"Xiang Yu, you should co with us," Rumus sincerely invited Xiang Yu.

"It’s not like it’s a good thing. Are you trying to send us to our deaths?" Xiang Yu casually replied.

Rumus looked slightly embarrassed. There was indeed considerable danger in their return, but having Xiang Yu made him feel more at ease.

"Just help out, offer so advice by my side," Rumus chuckled.

So soldiers behind Rumus were puzzled, wondering why their commander was being so chummy with this guy.

"What’s in it for ?" Xiang Yu asked carelessly.

"Plenty of benefits; we’ll talk once it’s over," Rumus said.

Tie Zhuzi and Xiao Xuan exchanged glances but said nothing. They knew Xiang Yu would definitely go back, even if there were no benefits offered.

"No, let’s clear that up first," Xiang Yu insisted.

Rumus sighed, then looked at his n and said, "Bring him along too."

"You heartless guy, you’re kidnapping a hostage," Xiang Yu shouted as he boarded Rumus’s vehicle without further ado.

Rumus smiled and also got into the car.

The military district was in grave danger, with surrounding attacks intensifying and a decisive battle looming.

The third and fourth battalions remained to hold the fort, swearing to live and die with the base.

In an inconspicuous corner outside the military district, there was a makeshift tent. A man in military uniform sat leisurely in a chair; it was Wu Xuechao.

"Reporting to the commander, we’ve breached a gap on the eastern side, we can charge in now," soone reported, sowhat excited.

Wu Xuechao gave a cold smile, standing up with his eyes shining eagerly, feeling ready to make a significant move.

"Everyone, listen to my orders," Wu Xuechao commanded spiritedly.

Just as he was about to issue commands, another person ran in.

"Reporting to the commander, we’ve lost contact with that side; their commander might have escaped," the person said, frowning.

"What?" Wu Xuechao, just about to launch a full-scale attack, was suddenly brought back to reality by this news.

He picked up the phone, only to hear that the line was dead.

"Damn it," Wu Xuechao cursed through gritted teeth.

He was on the verge of victory; this place was ****’s base. Capturing it would definitely cause a national sensation.

This would be the first ti their rebel forces overca a military district, and his na would surely spread throughout the nation.

But now, almost achieving success, another part of the enemy team had broken through the encirclent.

If he launched a strong attack now, it couldn’t be accomplished quickly. Given Rumus’s impending return to counterattack, they faced the risk of annihilation.

For a mont, Wu Xuechao hesitated; moreover, he had already sent a squad to support Xie San, leaving his forces unable to handle a pincer movent by Rumus.

"One team cover, others retreat." Reluctantly, Wu Xuechao gave the order; the situation was dire, and he had no other choice.

The orders were quickly relayed; one team remained for continued firing, while the others started a coordinated withdrawal.

anwhile, Rumus’s team was heading in their direction, determined to halt the main opposing force.

Sitting in the sa vehicle as Rumus, Xiang Yu could sense Rumus’s anger.

"By now, they should’ve already retreated," Xiang Yu leaned back and said.

Rumus was taken aback, asking, "How do you know?"

Xiang Yu smiled and said, "You’ve already broken through; they must have known imdiately. Once they know you’ve broken through, they have two choices."

Rumus turned toward Xiang Yu in curiosity, finding himself increasingly trustful of Xiang Yu.

"What are the two choices?" Rumus asked, intrigued.
