Chapter 1240: Chapter 1240: Challenging the Sealed Environnt

Back when the international terror organization ‘Falcon Organization’ ca to City Two to create a terror incident, it was Xiang Yu who successfully resolved the crisis.

And it was at that ti that Gao Zhitao got to know Xiang Yu.

Director Han spoke with a sense of lingering excitent, as usually they are people in high positions with few opportunities to show off. Because they can’t talk to their subordinates, as it would undermine their authority as a director.

Naturally, he couldn’t discuss it with his superiors either, as it would appear as though he was seeking credit. Now that he finally had soone listening to him, he felt a lingering excitent.

Seeing that he couldn’t get any useful information from him, Gao Zhitao finally considered ending the call, but Director Han kept talking endlessly.

He spoke about how they caught the opponent this ti and how incredibly cunning the opponent was.

Gao Zhitao sowhat regretted making the call, eventually having no choice but to abruptly end it.

Sitting on the sofa, he also felt a sense of powerlessness, a feeling he had never experienced before.

anwhile, Xiang Yu was sitting in a car, dozing off, and he didn’t know how long had passed when he felt the car bumping.

“We should almost be there,” Xiang Yu thought as he woke up.

Although he didn’t look around, this familiar feeling was sothing he would never forget in his lifeti.

Just then, the person he had knocked out groggily climbed up, touched the back of his head, still unsure of what had happened.

Sitting up, he looked around, and upon seeing Xiang Yu, he was imdiately shocked, reaching for the dagger on his body.

Without opening his eyes, Xiang Yu kicked him directly in the neck, knocking him out again.

“Don’t be too arrogant,” said another soldier coldly, looking at Xiang Yu.

It was only then that Xiang Yu slowly opened his eyes and looked outside.

All around were trees, accompanied by bird calls, giving a sense of being in a secluded paradise.

Although he couldn’t see the full view through the window, he was too familiar with this place; one glance was enough to recognize where it was.

In the past, their team often ca here for training. It’s safe to say that most of Xiang Yu’s ti since joining the army was spent here.

“Sorry about this,” the soldier escorting him said, realizing it was about ti, then put a black hood over Xiang Yu’s head.

Xiang Yu didn’t resist and just sat there quietly.

He was very familiar with every path here; even though he couldn’t see the surroundings, he could imagine everything about this place.

They traveled for about another hour before the car finally stopped.

At this point, the car door opened, and soone was already there to et them.

“What’s going on?” one person asked, seeing a soldier lying on the car.

“This person is incredibly skilled; it’s my oversight,” said another soldier, feeling ashad.

“Don’t bla them; I’m too skilled. They simply can’t keep an eye on ,” Xiang Yu shouted.

The officer in charge felt Xiang Yu’s voice was sowhat familiar but didn’t have the authority to remove the hood, so he snorted coldly, punched Xiang Yu in the stomach, and then instructed others to take him away.

Although Xiang Yu had been here for a few years, there were still so places he hadn’t been.

After all, this was a military compound; certain departnts dealing with national secrets were beyond Xiang Yu’s right to know.

Pressed down by others, he felt like he was turning left and right, as if entering a cave. He heard the sound of iron doors and was pushed forward.

Xiang Yu lost his balance and almost fell.

Everything around was silent, prompting Xiang Yu to quickly remove the black hood from his head to see the surroundings.

This was a dark room; the door was made of iron, clearly a prison building.

“Is there anyone? I’m hungry; bring sothing to eat quickly,” Xiang Yu shouted there.

His shouting really worked; soone put a bowl of rice through a small hole in the door, but the person who brought the food remained silent and made hardly any noise.

“Hey brother, can you tell what ti it is?” Xiang Yu hurriedly called out to the outside upon seeing soone.

But it was quiet outside, as if he had entered a grave.

“This isn’t poisonous, is it? Don’t poison to death,” Xiang Yu shouted to the outside.

But no one paid attention to him; seeing the surroundings pitch black, Xiang Yu sighed, then grabbed the bowl of rice and sat on the ground to eat.

No matter the situation, he couldn’t starve; only by maintaining his physical strength could he have more fun.

Moreover, ever since Xiang Yu went to the city, he had been in a state of hustle and bustle, now just the right ti to find peace.

After eating, Xiang Yu lay down on the small bed inside and fell asleep.

When Xiang Yu woke up, there was another bowl of rice there, with an additional bun and a chicken leg.

“The food here is good; I don’t need to go out anymore,” Xiang Yu muttered to the outside.

But regardless of what Xiang Yu said, outside it remained silent.

In this environnt, Xiang Yu didn’t know how long it had been, only knowing he had eaten ten tis.

People staying in a closed environnt for a long ti tend to feel oppressed, and Xiang Yu was naturally no exception. After eating, he started exercising and then went to sleep.

Without a single bit of noise around, this environnt caused Xiang Yu to beco anxious, feeling like a year passed with each day.

But Xiang Yu was a warrior; although deeply anxious, he could still endure.

Otherwise, solitary confinent in prison is very torturous, with ordinary people not lasting more than three days in a dark room before encountering issues.

Xiang Yu didn’t know why it had been such a long ti without anyone coming to see him; eventually, he stopped thinking about it and let things develop as they would.

On the fourth day of Xiang Yu’s captivity, three vehicles drove into the military district from outside.

As the vehicles stopped, a person got out of the middle car; noticeably tall, with hair already white on one side, yet appearing ntally sharp. This person was Commander Cao.

As he got off the car, his guards hurriedly ca over.

Several people were standing upfront to welco him.

“Commander Cao, you’ve had a hard ti. This eting was not short,” one person said.

Commander Cao hurriedly nodded and said, “Indeed, a whole week’s ti.”

A group of people exchanged greetings and walked inside. During their conversation in the room, Commander Cao shook his neck to indicate he was exhausted.

Seeing this, everyone began to take their leave.

After they left, Commander Cao imdiately took out his phone and made a call.

“How’s the matter going?” Commander Cao asked seriously.

“He is confined in Sky-class solitary confinent and hasn’t seen anyone since his arrival,” the person on the other end said.

“Understood,” Commander Cao said, ending the call imdiately.

Now, alone in the room, he couldn’t help but smile.

“Want to escape from my grasp, no chance,” Commander Cao thought to himself.

He felt relieved now; as long as Xiang Yu was captured, there would be no more future troubles, and his mind could finally relax…
