“This card is specially for you,” Ye Hao said with a smile.
“Where did you manage to find this card?” Zhang Lan knew full well the value of the gold card.

“Yes.”
“Pianpian has shared your concerns with . I understand you're troubled by your weight. I have a dication that can restore your figure to perfection,” Ye Hao murmured. “Would you be brave enough to try it?”
“Are you certain this dicine can actually help lose weight?”
“Yes,” Ye Hao confird with a nod.
ixue's struggle with obesity was due to a hormonal imbalance, a dical condition.
“I'm willing to give it a shot.”
“There's just one condition,” Ye Hao said gravely, locking eyes with ixue.
“What is it?”
“You must never tell anyone that I'm the one providing the dicine.”
“Why not?”
“All will be revealed in due ti,” Ye Hao replied, choosing not to divulge more.
“I agree,” ixue responded without hesitation.
“After I escort Zhang Lan back to her dorm, I'll co find you in yours.”
“I'll wait for you at the dormitory entrance.”
“Okay.”
At that mont, Zhang Lan approached. “What are you two chatting about?”
“We were just talking about you,” Ye Hao deflected.
“What about ?” Zhang Lan's cheeks flushed.
“Ye Hao was saying how beautiful you are,” ixue giggled.
“I don't buy it,” Zhang Lan shot Ye Hao a skeptical look. “I bet he thinks Tang Pianpian is the real beauty.”
“No,” Ye Hao gently shook his head, “I may not know the allure of the ancient world's four great beauties, but I have seen a girl whose beauty could bring nations to their knees.”
“Who?”
“Su Xiaoyu.”
“Do you have a picture of her?” Zhang Lan asked, intrigued.
“No.”
“Could you introduce to her then?”
“I'm not sure I'll ever have the chance to see her again in my lifeti,” Ye Hao said with a smile and a shake of his head.
“Sounds like you're quite taken with her,” Zhang Lan comnted, a hint of jealousy in her voice.
“I simply admire her,” Ye Hao replied. Before he could steer the conversation elsewhere, ixue blurted out, “Ye Hao, how did you know that guy had five cockroaches in his pocket?”
Curiosity also sparkled in Zhang Lan's eyes.
She was eager to know as well.
Ye Hao explained to ixue, “Six is a lucky number. Since he sneakily added one cockroach to the plate, it naturally follows that he'd have five left in his pocket.”
ixue and Zhang Lan exchanged glances, not expecting such an answer.
“Okay, I'll stop teasing you. The truth is, as I walked by them, I saw him open a paper packet with six cockroaches inside.”

After dinner, Ye Hao and his companions headed back to school.

“Take this now,” he instructed.

“It would be wasteful to give you the whole thing,” he explained. Given that ixue's ailnt wasn't too severe, Ye Hao figured a third of the healing potion would suffice to heal her.
Ye Hao was running low on healing potions.
ixue hesitated briefly before consuming a third of a healing potion.
After a mont of thought, Ye Hao said, “I estimate that you'll return to your normal weight in a few days, so prepare yourself ntally for that.”
“Really?” ixue's face was a picture of disbelief.
“Yes.” Without further conversation, Ye Hao departed.
ixue had barely reached the stairs when a rumbling ca from her stomach. Not daring to wait, she dashed to the dormitory bathroom in desperate need.
Ti ticked by, and panic set in for ixue; it seed she was excreting an excessive amount. Even after accounting for everything she had eaten, the relentless bowel movent showed no signs of stopping.
Finally, after about ten minutes, it ceased.
Standing up, ixue felt surprisingly far from drained. She flushed the toilet and stepped out of the bathroom.
Washing her hands, she paused, struck by the realization that she had noticeably slimd down—significantly so.
Abandoning the sink, ixue quickly retrieved the electronic scale from beneath her bed. As she stepped on, the display confird the unbelievable.
140 pounds!
Her disbelief was palpable—her weight had been 155 kilograms just before.
In an instant, she had shed 15 kilograms.
ixue was lost in thought. Ordinarily, such a rapid weight loss would leave one feeling weak, yet she was brimming with vitality.

“Why can't you just accept reality?”
Amidst her roommates' taunts, ixue was tempted to shout from the rooftops that she had indeed lost 15 kilograms.
Even if ixue shed 15 kilograms, it would be tough for anyone to notice right away.
“ixue, where is Ye Hao taking you out to eat today?”
Before ixue could respond, another girl chid in, “ixue, has Ye Hao fallen for you?”
