Being with Ye Li always put Chu Ge at ease. He could tell she had many questions for him, like why Zhang Jinghui was so afraid of him, or what exactly he did; however, she never asked.
Stretching lazily, Chu Ge got into the Ferrari and dialed Qin Ruojing's number.
Though Qin Ruojing certainly trusted him, since he returned from Jinkai Villa, he wanted to quickly pay back the money and also return the Ferrari to Qin Ruoying, retrieving the Maserati left to him by He Qing.
This fiery red Ferrari is way too flashy. Comparatively, he still prefers to drive that pure white Maserati.
And honestly, he really did start to miss the Qin sisters after not seeing them for a few days.
The call was quickly connected, and Qin Ruojing's voice, which hadn't been heard for just a few days, seed like a long-lost sound coming through the receiver.
"Are you done with your stuff?"
"Yeah, finished. Haven't seen you for a few days, were you worried I ran off with the money?"

Chu Ge grinned and said, "That's easy. How do you want to thank you? How about offering myself to you?"
For Chu Ge's joke, Qin Ruojing didn't hesitate a bit, imdiately retorting disdainfully, "As if you'd dare. I wouldn't mind; go ahead?"
Chu Ge suddenly broke out in a cold sweat, feeling defeated inside. Qin Ruojing is still a girl after all, and if sothing really happened with her, it would definitely be troubleso later. But he jokingly replied, "Hey! Trying to provoke , huh? Just wait and see if I dare or not."
"Alright, I'm too lazy to banter with you. Rember to buy so groceries on the way, that's all."

Before Chu Ge could finish, Qin Ruojing had already hung up, and the "beep beep" sound ca from the other end.
"Tsk, really treating like your personal chef, huh?"
Chu Ge muttered a bit to himself, but there was a smile playing on his lips.
In fact, he didn't mind the request at all. After all, he needed to eat too, and cooking was a sort of enjoynt for him. Besides, even if others were eager to cook for these sisters, they wouldn't get the chance.
Half an hour later, Chu Ge, with a bunch of groceries, knocked on Qin Ruojing's door.
It was Qin Ruoying who opened the door. Upon seeing Chu Ge, she started calling him "brother-in-law" cheerfully, helped him with the stuff, and let him into the house with a giggle.
After changing into slippers, Chu Ge entered the house and truly felt a sense of hocoming. The only thing that puzzled him was the faint sll of alcohol that still lingered inside. It seed like several kinds of alcohol, just like the last ti he ca looking for Qin Ruoying to borrow a car.
"Hey, Xiaoying, where's the alcohol sll from? You and your sister haven't been just drinking at ho these past few days, have you?"
Upon hearing Chu Ge ask this, Qin Ruoying's face turned a little unnatural, "Just a little occasionally." But she quickly giggled and changed the topic, "By the way, brother-in-law, what have you been up to these days? I tried calling you several tis, and your phone was off."
"Just handled so personal business." Chu Ge brushed it off with a vague answer and headed straight to the kitchen, planning to start cooking once Qin Ruojing returned.
Qin Ruoying didn't just hang around outside either but followed Chu Ge into the kitchen. She hardly ever helped out, but she decided to lend a hand this ti. Even though she couldn't be of much help, as the saying goes, "n and won working together, the work is not tiring," and having a conversation and laughing with such a beauty was quite enjoyable.
"Brother-in-law, I want... well, I want to ask you sothing."

Qin Ruoying scratched her head awkwardly and chuckled, "Well... it's nothing really, I just wanted to ask, when are you and my sister planning to get married?"
"Huh? Married?"
Chu Ge was taken aback, paused his actions, and amusingly shook his head.
"What made you ask that? Your sister and I never planned on getting married, you know? You do rember, the reason we got together in the first place was just to put on an act for your parents."
Hearing Chu Ge say this, Qin Ruoying's expression turned peculiar, as she complained, "Huh? Brother-in-law, how could you say that?"
