Facing the young policeman's gaze, Chu Ge nodded, "I did it."
"Alright, then please co with to the station to assist with the investigation." Seeing Chu Ge admit it, the young policeman said sternly, taking out handcuffs as he spoke.
Seeing this situation, Qin Ruoying imdiately panicked and jumped in front of Chu Ge, her eyebrows standing on end as she questioned him.
"Hey! What do you think you're doing? On what grounds are you arresting my brother-in-law? Let tell you, you're being paid with our taxpayer money, so you must uphold justice for us. Do you even know why my brother-in-law hit them? You're just arresting people without asking anything? Do you believe I'll report you?"
The young policeman was montarily speechless at Qin Ruoying's outburst. He was used to questioning others, but nobody had ever pointed at his nose like this before.
"I know how to handle a case. Please step aside and do not obstruct from performing my duty."
"What if I don't?"
Qin Ruoying glanced at the shiny handcuffs, took another step toward the young policeman, and asked confrontationally.
Qin Ruojing stood on the side, frowning, and took out her phone once again.
"Then I'm sorry, but you will also..."
The young policeman's words were cut off when his eyes suddenly focused. He snapped his legs together and saluted respectfully in the direction behind Qin Ruoying.

He didn't recognize Qin Ruojing or Qin Ruoying, but the na "Iron-Faced Qin Yan" was well-known to him. It wouldn't be an exaggeration to say that Qin Yan's heroic deeds partly influenced his decision to beco a policeman.

Seeing their father call Chu Ge to the stairwell with a stern face, the Qin sisters felt a sense of anxiety and worry, though neither approached, each concerned about sothing different.

"Yeah, just a little." Facing Qin Yan, Chu Ge admitted it readily. He couldn't believe this veteran detective wouldn't notice, so instead of hiding it, he decided to be straightforward.
"Just a little? Besides that Liu Dawang taking an extra hit, five people, all defeated with one strike, all kicked in the sa spot, all breaking two ribs. You sure are ruthless, aren't you?"
Chu Ge stayed silent, uncertain of Qin Yan's current thoughts. Still, his expression remained calm and composed because he didn't feel he had done anything wrong.
"Actually, I think you weren't ruthless enough. If it were , I'd break these punks' ribs straight away. Daring to target Bao Xiaomi at my daughter makes just two broken ribs too lenient for them!"
After interacting yesterday, Qin Yan was already quite satisfied with Chu Ge. Now, seeing how he acted and the attitude he showed, Qin Yan was even more pleased. Seeing no one around, he dropped his stern deanor, lowered his voice for a mont, patted Chu Ge's shoulder with a smile that seed to say, "Well done!"
Chu Ge was montarily stunned; he hadn't expected Qin Yan to say such a thing. He then laughed, scratched his head, and joked, "How about I go back and give another kick?"
"You rascal, are you trying to get your father-in-law fired? If you make a move in front of again and I don't intervene, then my days as a detective are over! Alright, you don't need to worry about the rest, just go have fun with Ruojing and Ruoying."
Chu Ge laughed, "Well then, I'll trouble you, Uncle."
The two shared a smile and walked out of the stairway. As soon as they stepped outside, Qin Yan's face returned to its stern and serious look, while Chu Ge lowered his head, playing the part of soone who had just been reprimanded.
Just looking at this scene, who would have thought that this older and younger man were just having a pleasant chat?
As Chu Ge left with the Qin sisters, Liu Dawang, though filled with resentnt and anger, acknowledged that being easily brought down by soone who could defeat his four bodyguards wasn't exactly an undeserved fate.
And when he discovered that the veteran detective with him was none other than the infamous "Ironface Qin Yan" from the detective squad, his heart went ice-cold. Having just been kicked by Qin Ruoying, he already felt pain. Now he felt even more so.
"Damn it! If I had known those sisters were Qin Yan's daughters, I'd have never dared to harass them, even in a million years! What a fool I am, a complete fool!"
Watching Chu Ge and the Qin sisters leave, Liu Dawang could only sigh in sadness.
"Brother-in-law, what did my dad just say to you?" As soon as they distanced themselves a bit from Qin Yan, Qin Ruoying couldn't hold back her curiosity and asked Chu Ge.

Qin Ruojing rolled her eyes at her sister. "With your hyper personality, what man could handle it? Any great guy would probably be scared off just seeing you. Once you learn to be more ladylike, you'll et your prince."
Unconvinced, Qin Ruoying snorted, "Tch! What are you talking about? Brother-in-law wasn't scared off by . Look, we hit it off right after eting; if I had t him first, you might really end up being his sister-in-law by now."
