In the Void Realm, there are also divisions of nations, and Chu Zhongtian is the monarch of one of these nations, the strongest one.

When Chu Ge was born, Chu Zhongtian's nation was in the midst of war, besieged on all sides and overwheld. He then sent all the princes under the age of three to various "Mortal Realms," which he considered leaving precious seeds of his bloodline.

At that ti, Chu Ge had just been born, so Chu Zhongtian chose the safest Mortal Realm for Chu Ge. Before he beca the monarch of a nation in the Void Realm, he had visited this Mortal Realm and left so cultivation techniques for practice.

When he felt these cultivation techniques were inappropriate or purely for entertainnt, he would disguise himself as a reckless youth challenging locals. He would defeat these Mortal Realm humans, who he considered insignificantly weak, and then make so subtle changes to the cultivation techniques he originally left behind.

In his own words, this was leaving a "destined chance," and only those truly fated could notice those changes.

Of course, not entirely reassured by leaving the princes in various Mortal Realms, Chu Zhongtian arranged certain guardianship around each prince based on the circumstances at the ti.

For example, Situ Ying was originally a normal newborn orphan but was instilled by Chu Zhongtian's people with a Divine Thought: to encourage Chu Ge to grow stronger and protect him continuously until he turned eighteen, after which she would leave him, as well as given talents far beyond ordinary people.

For Situ Ying, whether it was protecting or leaving Chu Ge, it was an instinct.

For Chu Zhongtian, Chu Ge was a prince, and Situ Ying was just a maid. What surprised him slightly was that Situ Ying had recently "Broken Void," and despite leaving Chu Ge for so many years, she still harbored deep feelings for him. Though Situ Ying never expressed it, how could her little secret escape him?

As a prince's maid, there was naturally so ntal connection between Chu Zhongtian and her, though it was negligible. If she ever held any harmful thoughts toward Chu Ge, Chu Zhongtian could obliterate her with a single thought.

The decision to protect these princes only until they turned eighteen was a thoughtful one by Chu Zhongtian.

In his view, if he died in the war, so be it. But if he managed to survive and grow stronger, he could then consider the matter of these princes.

Those princes who achieved nothing would never learn about the Void Realm's existence and would live as ordinary people. Only those with firm resolve, so capability, and an awakened bloodline would qualify to return to the Void Realm and to his side.

Bloodline awakening refers to their innate recovery ability and a significant increase in Spiritual Power. In the Sea of Consciousness, a new consciousness erges, capable of taking over when the self-consciousness is abnormally disturbed, reacting optimally to the situation.

The Void Realm needs no waste! Chu Zhongtian himself needs no waste! Even his son is no exception! Returning to his side is no easy task!

Sitting opposite Chu Ge, Chu Zhongtian genuinely felt both gratified and amused.

Gratified because Chu Ge had clearly t the requirents to return to the Void Realm.

Amusing because he still rembered Chu Ge's behavior after defeating the Golden Dragon, in front of him, his own father.

Chu Ge thought he was rely an image, unaware that it was truly one of his Divine Thoughts. The mont he saw Chu Ge, he recognized him as his son, but he deliberately reacted that way.

Chu Zhongtian, in a good mood, explained everything he deed necessary to tell Chu Ge in detail, then asked, "Now, do you have any questions?"

Chu Ge nodded, "Can Situ Ying return to my side?"

Upon hearing such a question from Chu Ge at that mont, Situ Ying trembled slightly but refrained from turning back.

Chu Zhongtian chuckled casually, "Of course, that's no problem. When you return to the Void Realm, I'll have her continue to serve as your maid."

Chu Ge shook his head, "Not a maid, a wife."

Chu Zhongtian slightly frowned, "You're a prince, and she's a maid. Considering her previous dedicated care for you, I've been generous enough to let her see you at this ti. Don't joke with like that."

Chu Ge walked over to Situ Ying, grabbed her hand. As that hand slightly trembled, he turned to Chu Zhongtian with a gentle smile, "What if I don't want to be a prince? Would we then be able to be together?"

Chu Zhongtian's frown deepened, "Chu Ge, such jokes are not funny. Do you know what being a prince ans?"

Before Chu Ge could speak, Chu Zhongtian continued, "I tell you, it represents supre power, top cultivation techniques, endless wealth and won. You will beco powerful beyond your current imagination. For those Mortal Realm humans, you will be an Immortal they can only revere!"

Chu Ge still smiled gently, holding Situ Ying's hand softly, "By the way, how many sons do you have?"

Chu Zhongtian was slightly stunned. Although unsure of what Chu Ge ant, he answered, "More than four hundred."

It sounded like a large number, but given his long life, combined with his status as a monarch, having more than four hundred children isn't actually much.

Chu Ge showed no sign of surprise because he had expected it. He continued to smile gently, looking into Chu Zhongtian's eyes, "But I have only one Situ Ying."

Chu Zhongtian was stunned again, clearly not expecting Chu Ge to say such a thing.

A long-withheld tear finally slid down from Situ Ying's eye.

Chu Ge gently turned Situ Ying's body, raised his right hand, and used his thumb to caress her tear-stained cheek, "I've lost you once before, and I don't want a second ti. Please, don't leave again, alright?"

Chu Zhongtian suddenly stood up from his chair, an aura capable of freezing the space around them spreading from his body.

"Chu Ge, do you know what you're saying?"

"Of course I know. I've made myself very clear. Compared to being a Prince or an Immortal, I care more about this woman. It might be unfair to her to say this, but I also care for the won who have been with through thick and thin. I don't think they would want to leave here, so no matter what, I'm not going to leave with you to that so-called Void Realm."

Chu Zhongtian's expression darkened as he snorted coldly from his nose.

"Won? Look at what little ambition you have! How dare a dignified Prince say such things? Aren't you ashad?"

Chu Ge shook his head without hesitation, wearing a trademark smile: "Sorry, that's all the ambition I have."

Chu Zhongtian's gaze grew even colder, "Do you believe that, with just one thought, I could obliterate this woman and all the won you care about?"

Chu Ge scratched his head, smiling casually: "Of course, I believe you."

Chu Zhongtian didn't expect such a reaction from Chu Ge. It felt like he was prepared with a thousand-pound hamr, ready to compete with the opponent, only for the opponent to reveal a weapon that was a light, floating feather.

"Dad."

Chu Zhongtian was suppressing his emotions, but upon hearing Chu Ge utter this single word, he couldn't help but freeze. His tightly knitted brows relaxed a bit, and a complicated, subtle emotion stirred within his heart.

Throughout his long life, he couldn't rember the last ti he heard that word. In his impression, it seed all his princes and princesses would only ever call him "Father Emperor."

"You don't seem very accustod to this title."

Chu Ge looked at Chu Zhongtian with a sowhat conflicted expression and continued: "Actually, it feels awkward for to call you this as well. But given your flashy entrance, I doubt you're here to play tricks on just for fun."

"So, just as I don't doubt that you can easily kill Situ Ying, Qin Ruojing, or anyone on this planet related to , I have no doubt that you are my father. Although... even if I know this, I still feel that even when you put on a stern face, you still seem foolish."

"You..."

Chu Zhongtian barely said a word before Chu Ge interrupted him.

"Dad, you said so much earlier, now I want to ask you a question. Have you ever heard the saying that everyone has their own aspirations? Is conquering the world the only dream worthy of being called an ideal?"

"I'm sorry to disappoint you, but for , that's all there is to my ambition right now. I'm not interested in roaming the seas or becoming an Immortal. I just want to protect the won who resonate with my heart and live a peaceful life. In more artistic terms, right now, I envy the mandarin ducks, not the Immortals."

Seeing Chu Zhongtian's increasingly fluctuating expression, Chu Ge stepped forward, standing less than half a ter away from him.

"Perhaps to you, losing a prince is no big deal, while you still have your picturesque kingdom. But for , every one of these won is worth protecting with my life, each of them is as important as my world. If... you still insist on threatening with their lives, then please, cross my corpse first."

Chu Zhongtian raised his hand, eyes fixed intently on Chu Ge, his fists clenching, then loosening, clenching again, and then loosening.

Chu Ge's deanor was neither arrogant nor submissive, neither joyful nor sorrowful, smiling slightly as he looked back at him.

After an indeterminate amount of ti, suddenly, Chu Zhongtian's figure disappeared, leaving Chu Ge facing the villa's kitchen, with a woman tightly holding his hand by his side.

"Hmph! What a longing for mandarin ducks over Immortals! Hope you won't regret it!"

Nearby, a faint voice echoed. Chu Ge's lips curled slightly as he softly replied, "Thank you, rest assured, I will never regret it."

"Chu Ge, is it worth it?" Situ Ying asked softly, holding Chu Ge's hand.

"Hehe... what do you think?" Chu Ge grinned widely, soothing Situ Ying's hair, "Alright, ready to et your future sisters?"

Situ Ying's cheeks flushed slightly, nodding, "Mm..."

"Now, could you lend a hand? Let's see which of us can chop vegetables faster?"

"Well... that's not the point, right? Shouldn't you first tell how many won are around you now? And when I et them, what should I say? What do they all like? Are my hair tidy now? And..."

Watching Situ Ying, who wouldn't change her expression even if a mountain collapsed before her, now so nervous, Chu Ge laughed heartily.

The clock pointed to six, and a group of girls, carrying various gifts for little Chu Fan, arrived at the villa door, chatting and laughing.
