Chu Ge raised his right leg high, like a colossal axe, with all the strength of his body concentrated on the heel, and fiercely slamd it down, then heavily landed on the back of Chu Chengrui's head.

Crack

The floor tile beneath Chu Chengrui's head emitted a groan of unbearable strain, and then his head sank into it, with the tile shattering from the impact, centered around his head.

Whether it was the previous two knee strikes, or this chopping kick, Chu Ge exerted all his might, and the target was Chu Chengrui's rear head. Such a strike would certainly be lethal for an average person, or even a fierce tiger.

However, Chu Ge didn't think that Chu Chengrui, transford into this ghastly form, would be dealt with easily. Since it's his trump card, the degree of physical enhancent must be horrifying.

So, though Chu Ge's kick drove Chu Chengrui's head into the tile, he had no intention of stopping there.

As his right foot landed, he imdiately lifted it again, though not as high this ti, just bending the knee to ninety degrees, and stomped down heavily, knowing that raising it higher would indeed generate more force but also take more ti.

The target remained Chu Chengrui's rear head.

Just as Chu Ge's right foot was about to fall, a sense of alarm suddenly arose within him. His body reacted faster than thought, making a swift move backward, leaping over a ter away, and, concurrently, Chu Chengrui indeed made a move.

His left hand slid upward swiftly, and the sharp mbrane resembling a shark fin on his forearm sliced toward where Chu Ge's left leg had landed seconds ago. His right hand also lifted simultaneously, forming a ninety-degree angle between forearm and upper arm, with another "shark fin" pointing straight upward.

If Chu Ge had continued with his stomp, it is obvious where his foot would have landed.

Chu Ge sneered; this old dog, even after receiving such heavy blows to his rear head, was still able to launch such a sinister and cunning counterattack, certainly not easy to kill.

However, it's better this way; if he could eliminate this old mad dog easily, it wouldn't be thrilling enough!

Chu Ge regaining his stance, after Chu Chengrui's attack missed, he abruptly lifted his head from the shattered tile, shaking it left and right. Gravel and dust fell from his head, face, and even his ears and nose, making him appear dusty, although his eyes emitted an increasingly vicious gleam.

Chu Chengrui flipped over, both hands pressing onto the ground with two "bang" sounds, gazing at Chu Ge like a true quadruped, uttering a vague roar from his throat, then suddenly springing his legs to pounce at Chu Ge, his speed almost doubled.

An ironic glint flashed across Chu Ge's eyes; he wasn't surprised at Chu Chengrui's sudden increase in speed.

He had dealt with those so-called war machines Chu Chengrui had ntioned before; even "Number 98," "Number 99," "Number 100," enhanced in strength, speed, and resilience post-transformation, not perishing imdiately even when their throats were slashed.

So, even thinking with his toes, Chu Ge didn't believe Chu Chengrui's self-prepared enhancents would be so minimal.

Though post-transformation, Chu Chengrui resembled a product of multiple wild beasts' crossbreeding, appearing mindless and left with only savage combat intent, Chu Ge preferred to believe it was all a facade, a ruse to loosen vigilance, a deception of assud victory.

Chu Chengrui's sudden counterattack seed to best substantiate the acts of feigned ignorance to catch off guard, as for the disappearance of the mad dog's Spiritual Power fluctuations, it truly was an oddity.

"Chu Chengrui, perhaps in scientific research, you're indeed considered a genius, but... in these combat tricks, you're still too immature. Instead of playing these petty sches, why not unleash your true strength for a dead-or-alive battle, your current displayed combat capabilities are far too weak!"

Chu Ge, staring into Chu Chengrui's venomous snake-like eyes, sneered, "I was rely warming up just now; moving forward, you ought to..."

Without finishing his words, he vanished from his spot, Chu Chengrui's pupils contracted sharply, and when he saw Chu Ge again, Chu Ge was already before him, leaving him too late to react.

"Boom!"

Chu Ge delivered a kick to Chu Chengrui's chest, the upward force resembling a volcanic eruption, propelling Chu Chengrui into the air, spurting viscous purple-red blood from his mouth. His eyes widened, searching for Chu Ge's form, yet Chu Ge mysteriously vanished again.

"Where are you looking?"

Chu Ge's voice ghostly emanated from above, Chu Chengrui's pupils shrank, before he could react, Chu Ge executed a scorpion kick, fiercely striking his body that was yet to descend.

With another "boom," Chu Chengrui landed more swiftly than he ascended, sprawling on the ground, shattering another floor tile.

"Right, where was I?" Chu Ge landed firmly on the ground and sneered. "Oh, I was saying that I was just warming up earlier. From now on, you better take it seriously, or else I'll be very disappointed."

Chu Chengrui's gaze grew more venomous. He licked away the blood at the corner of his mouth and slowly got up from the ground. Then... he charged at Chu Ge again. The tile beneath his feet shattered into smaller fragnts, so even crumbling into powder.

Chu Chengrui's speed suddenly increased a notch, nearly doubling as he lunged at Chu Ge compared to last ti.

Chu Ge snorted through his nose. This mad old dog was indeed resilient. Judging by this, his previous heavy strikes did hardly any significant damage to Chu Chengrui.

In an instant, the two were clashing again. Both Chu Ge and Chu Chengrui attacked like a storm, leaving the entire laboratory in disarray. Wherever their battle touched, there were fist marks or footprints left behind.

After another ten seconds, Chu Ge landed a heavy kick on Chu Chengrui's temple, causing him to grunt and sway involuntarily.

Chu Ge maintained his offensive, thrusting his elbow hard into Chu Chengrui's chest. He stepped forward, straightened his back, and with the montum of a mountain, delivered a shoulder tackle—a mighty "Iron Mountain Lean."

Chu Chengrui staggered back several steps, and his shaky body finally collapsed to the ground again, kicking up a cloud of dust and tiny stones. He propped himself up with his now enlarged claws but couldn't get up imdiately.

"Hmph, no match at all! If you don't have any stronger cards up your sleeve, I suggest you play it safe."

Chu Ge sneered coldly, resembling a cold-blooded demon.

In fact, the currently monstrous Chu Chengrui was anything but weak. His strength, speed, and endurance had reached a terrifying level. If this battle had occurred half a month ago, it would likely be Chu Ge who couldn't get up from the ground now.

Unfortunately, there are no "what ifs."

During the past half month, the insane and brutal battles Chu Ge experienced, the constant tearing pain, the ever-present pressure of death, amounted to training harsher than hell, transforming him beyond recognition.

This transformation wasn't just about the massive increase in his spiritual power; his body now harbored power he couldn't have dread of before and a recovery ability even more terrifying than before.

The wound Chu Chengrui had torn open on Chu Ge's arm monts ago had long stopped bleeding. If one were to look closely, they could even see the flesh around the wound writhing, visibly repairing itself at a noticeable pace.

In a sense, not only had Chu Chengrui beco sothing non-human, but now Chu Ge didn't seem like a normal human either.

Chu Chengrui's eyes were filled with reluctance. Clenching his teeth, he slowly got up from the ground again, growling like a beast. His eyes were fixed on the approaching Chu Ge, and his hands—or rather claws—kept curling and uncurling.

"It seems you've decided not to take my advice."

Chu Ge's sneer deepened. As he spoke, only three ters remained between him and Chu Chengrui.

"That's just fine. Actually, I was just saying, how could I repay the 'care' you've given these days without breaking your bones one by one?"

Chu Ge looked at Chu Chengrui, and Chu Chengrui looked at Chu Ge, the distance between them closing in.

Though the transford Chu Chengrui was now much taller than Chu Ge, appearing as if a child was approaching a giant...

Oddly enough, if anyone saw this scene, they'd feel that Chu Ge was looking down on Chu Chengrui from above.

When only a ter remained between them, Chu Chengrui's inverted pupils suddenly changed dramatically, shrinking to pinpoints, displaying an emotion called "fear."

Imdiately, Chu Chengrui took a step back, then another, and finally turned and ran.

Would Chu Ge stand by as Chu Chengrui ran out of this lab?

The answer was, of course, no!

When Chu Chengrui took the first step back, Chu Ge was still moving slowly, though he let out a snort. But as Chu Chengrui stepped back the second ti, Chu Ge suddenly accelerated, pursuing him like lightning.
