Even though everyone's gaze was clearly fixed on Chu Ge, Chu Ge still didn't look at him, continuing to talk with Qin Ruoying as if nothing had happened.

Chu Ge had already been hypnotized by Su Yuanzhou once before and had experienced the power of that hypnosis firsthand. If this guy next to him really belonged to the Su Family and was also a hypnosis expert, it would indeed be a troubleso matter.

Chu Ge couldn't help but worry. If he were hypnotized, who knows what this guy might do to him? More than that, he was worried about that inexplicable consciousness reappearing and doing sothing even more outrageous, or even... completely replacing him and becoming the master of this body.

Luckily, the things Chu Ge feared didn't happen, or at least hadn't happened yet. The middle-aged man just seed montarily stunned, scanning Chu Ge's face with a suspicious look. He quickly shifted his gaze, slightly furrowed his brows, and walked toward the drugstore entrance.

Chu Ge breathed a sigh of relief. Even though there was another man in the drugstore who concerned him, he remained undecided. In the end, he acted like an ordinary consur, continuing to stand in the crowded line.

The line crawled forward like a snail, and after more than ten minutes, it was finally Chu Ge's turn. He bought five bottles of the Rejuvenating Pill that everyone praised so highly.

This thing's packaging was very exquisite, a red box with gold lettering, asuring ten centiters by eight centiters. The words "Rejuvenating Pill" were written powerfully. Inside was a small white porcelain bottle with a round belly and slender neck, each containing twenty small green pills, only slightly larger than soybeans.

Although the advertisents made grand claims about this product, its price wasn't particularly high, with each bottle costing 398. If it truly lived up to its na, it would definitely be worth every penny.

After buying the Rejuvenating Pill, Chu Ge left the drugstore with Qin Ruojing and Qin Ruoying. Just as they exited, they heard the piercing siren of an ambulance. Looking sideways, they saw a man lying on the ground about dozens of ters away, with a BMW parked beside him, its hood slightly dented. The ambulance was evidently headed for that man.

Chu Ge frowned slightly. The man on the ground was the sa one he had noticed inside the drugstore earlier.

Compared to Chu Ge, Qin Ruojing and Qin Ruoying frowned even more. This scene was so familiar to them; just before they returned to the country, Watanabe Shinji had t with a similar fate on the street.

"Chu Ge..." Qin Ruojing glanced at Chu Ge.

"Hmm?"

"Never mind, let's go."

Qin Ruojing hesitated for two seconds and shook her head. Chu Ge had been lining up in the drugstore, so it was hard to believe he had anything to do with this accident. But such a coincidence inevitably made Qin Ruojing overthink.

Although Watanabe Shinji deserved to die, the man in the black jacket was a stranger. Seeing the sa kind of incidents in a row greatly affected Qin Ruojing and Qin Ruoying's mood, making them lose their appetite for dinner and less interested in exploring the Guicheng nightlife. They returned to the hotel quite early.

The next day, the three of them followed the address provided by Su Yuanzhou and arrived at the suburban area of Guicheng, finding Su Luo's residence.

Carrying the items Su Yuanzhou sent for the old man and the five bottles of Rejuvenating Pill bought the previous day, they entered an estate that wasn't new or old, then walked into a unit building, stopping in front of a central apartnt on the third floor.

Chu Ge knocked on the door, and soon footsteps sounded from inside. An elderly man opened the door, presumably Su Yuanzhou's grandfather, Old Master Su Luo.

Just as Su Yuanzhou described, the old man not only seed very healthy but also exuded energy and charisma from within. His silver hair was immaculately grood, his long eyebrows slightly drooping, with a straight nose, rosy complexion, clean-shaven beard, and no sign of a hunched back. His blue plaid ho clothes were spotlessly clean.

Based on his appearance alone, it was hard to imagine he was already ninety years old. He could easily pass for around sixty.

Chu Ge bowed slightly and asked with a smile, "Excuse , are you Old Master Su Luo?"

Su Luo nodded, "Haha, that's . You must be young Chu, and these two must be the young Miss Qin, right?"

"Yes, that's us."

"I've heard from Yuanzhou about you all. Please, co in."

Chu Ge and the other two agreed, and Su Luo invited them into the house.

It was just an ordinary residential ho, about seventy square ters, with nothing spectacular furnishing, everywhere was neat and clean. The air inside carried a pleasant floral and earthy scent. Chu Ge took a quick glance at the balcony where so vibrant potted plants looked quite appealing.

On the coffee table in the living room was a bamboo fruit basket containing various fruits, clearly prepared by Old Master Su for them.

Several people took their seats separately. Chu Ge put down the things he brought and started chatting with Su Luo.

"Elder Su, when I was in Japan, I heard a lot about you from Brother Yuanzhou, especially about your expertise in health preservation. To be honest, seeing you today, I'm quite surprised. You really don't look ninety at all, sixty seems more like it."

Su Luo chuckled heartily and said, "Actually, I think so too."

Hearing Su Luo say this, Chu Ge and the others were amused. Although it was true, this old man really wasn't modest at all.

The elderly one and the three youngsters chatted casually for a while. Chu Ge discreetly observed this Elder Su, yet even during such casual conversation, the old man gave him an unfathomable feeling. He couldn't tell whether Su Yuanzhou had told this elder about his ability to practice the Su Family's Cultivation Technique.

Chu Ge pondered over it, realizing idle chit-chat wasn't leading anywhere. He needed to seize this opportunity and probe a bit. After all, there's got to be so gain for his special visit here, right?

"By the way, Elder Su, I heard you're quite skilled in The Book of Changes. Would you mind sharing so insights with us?"

"Hmm?"

Su Luo was slightly taken aback and laughed, saying, "I didn't expect young people these days to be interested in such aged topics."

Seeing that Su Luo neither agreed nor refused, Chu Ge imdiately said with a smile, "Isn't there a saying, 'older ginger is spicier, and aged wine is more fragrant'? Since The Book of Changes has beco the foremost among the classics, regarded as the source of the great Dao, and has been passed down for so many years, it is certainly a treasure of history and the crystallization of wisdom through the ages."

Chu Ge had previously heard from Su Yuanzhou that Elder Su had been widowed for many years and lived alone. He imagined that even if this old man was optimistic and peaceful by nature, he must feel quite lonely.

A lonely elder would naturally hope for more companionship and conversation. If they could talk about things he liked and was good at, all the better. Since Chu Ge hoped to use the topic of The Book of Changes to probe Su Luo's attitude towards him, he chose his words carefully.

After Chu Ge finished speaking, Su Luo indeed appeared more pleased. He glanced at Chu Ge and said, "I didn't expect you to know that The Book of Changes is the foremost of the classics, the source of the great Dao. Well, why don't you tell more about The Book of Changes? I'd like to hear what else you know."

Hearing this, Chu Ge was a bit speechless, but from Elder Su's reaction, he indeed catered to the old man's interests. If what he said next resonated with the elder, it would at least make the atmosphere between them more harmonious.

Fortunately, Chu Ge had so knowledge of The Book of Changes, and before eting Elder Su, he made sure to brush up on the subject. Saying a bit more on this topic wouldn't be difficult.

Chu Ge pondered briefly and then started to speak under Su Luo's expectant gaze.

The Book of Changes, also known as The Classic of Changes, is one of the Three Yi. During the early Han dynasty, Liu Xiang retained all three Yi, but after the Han era, they disappeared. It is one of the traditional classics.

It is said that The Book of Changes was created by King Wen of Zhou when he was imprisoned in Anyang. It consists of two parts: the Classic and the Comntary. The Classic mainly includes sixty-four hexagrams and three hundred eighty-four lines, each with its interpretations, used for divination purposes.

Notably, The Book of Changes did not introduce the concepts of Yin and Yang or Taiji. These concepts co from the Yi Comntary, influenced by the Daoist School and the Yin-Yang School.

As for the Comntary, it includes seven types of writings explaining hexagram statents and line statents, collectively known as the Ten Wings.

From the Spring and Autumn period onward, Chinese scholarship has been integrated with Yi studies. From when Fuxi painted the hexagrams to when Laozi left the pass, official learning gradually evolved into private learning.

Yi studies underwent transformations, and with the flourish of diverse schools, Yi studies began to differentiate. Since Confucius praised the Yi, The Book of Changes was honored by the Confucian School as a sacred classic, the first among the six classics, but outside the Confucian school.

"Two branches of Yi studies developed alongside the Confucian Yi: one was the divination Yi with its old powers; the other was Laozi's Daoist Yi. Thus, since Confucius praised the Yi, Chinese Yi studies began to divide into three branches."

The Complete Catalogue of the Four Treasures Library divides the history of Yi studies into "two factions and six sects."

The two factions are the Xiangshu Faction and the Yili Faction; the six sects are the Divination Sect, the Divine Fortune Sect, the Creation Sect, the Laozhuang Sect, the Confucianism Sect, and the Historical Events Sect.

Listening to Chu Ge speak eloquently, Su Luo seed a bit surprised but was more gratified, listening with great interest without interrupting.

If Su Luo was surprised, Qin Ruojing and Qin Ruoying were even more so. Their expressions towards Chu Ge were more confused than astonished. Did this guy know too much?
