"Twelve million!"

As soon as the auctioneer’s voice had fallen, a thin man wearing gold-rimd glasses quickly raised his bid.

Mo Han glanced at him curiously and shook his head slightly. The man with the glasses had severe kidney deficiency, and thinking he could nurse his health back with a re top-quality Cistanche Deserticola was utterly delusional.

"Thirteen million!"

Once soone led the way, other covetous bidders imdiately followed, raising their paddles and shouting out their bids.

"Fifteen million!"

"Eighteen million!"

"Nineteen million!"

In just one minute since the auction had started, the price had jumped from ten million to nearly twenty million.

The speed of the price increase left the onlookers sowhat astounded.

The old master of Gui Nongsang was even more worried, shaking his head repeatedly. He had spent a large sum of money recently on renovating his dical center and on purchasing dicinal materials, and now he had little more than twenty million in hand.

Given the bidding trend, it really could exceed thirty million, and Gui Nongsang, even if he wanted to buy, wouldn’t be able to afford it.

Tao Donglai sat in the audience. Glancing at Mo Han, and seeing that the other seed to show little interest, he hesitated for a mont before raising his number 16 paddle, "Twenty million!"

This ti, he decided to be less ostentatious, opting to add just one million.

There was no way around it; he didn’t have that much capital at hand, especially after he had just spent sixty million on a Prince Ginseng of little value, leaving him with limited funds.

Most importantly, with the lesson learned from before, he truly feared that being too flamboyant would once again provoke Mo Han to outbid him.

This Cistanche Deserticola was different from the fifty-year-old Prince Ginseng before; it was an essential component of "Super Brother No. 2." He had to secure it at any cost—and at the lowest possible price!

With that in mind, he stood up, cupped his hands towards everyone, bowed slightly with a smile, and said, "Friends, I have co to the Wen Family Auction Center today specifically for this top-quality Cistanche Deserticola."

"Our Tao Pharmaceuticals is currently developing a new male health product and urgently needs this dicinal ingredient."

"I ask everyone to do , Tao Donglai, a favor and let have this one!"

"In return, I promise that once our new product is launched, I will gift a fine product set to every friend present here today, guaranteed to satisfy everyone."

The guests present were mostly dicinal material dealers, channel rchants, and investors, all of whom had so relationship with Tao Pharmaceuticals to varying extents.

They were aware of the dominance of the Tao Family in Jiangnan City, and if any of them dared to bid further today, given the Tao Family’s nature of holding grudges, they would undoubtedly face serious consequences.

So even if they were extrely displeased, at this point, they could only hold their tongues.

The auctioneer at the front of the auction stage chuckled awkwardly, inwardly quite unhappy.

The rules of the auction were simple: whoever offers the highest price wins, but here was the young master of the Tao Family, blatantly using their family’s influence to intimidate other bidders, which was simply shaless.

In fact, it’s no wonder the auctioneer was displeased; their salary depended on the auction amount. The higher the bid, the more they earned.

Given today’s montum, he had estimated that the top-quality Cistanche Deserticola would fetch at least forty million, which with a 2% commission, ant he could earn at least eight hundred thousand—a considerable sum!

But Tao Donglai’s disruption had likely just halved his inco—how could anyone be okay with that?

Yet, knowing the vast power of the Tao Family, he dared not overstep, lest he end up stuffed in a sack at night, so he rely chuckled without further comnt.

Seeing that no one else made a sound, the smile on Dr. Wang, who was beside Tao Donglai, blossod.

With that Cistanche Deserticola, they would be able to quickly develop "Super Brother No. 2."

Then there would be piles and piles of money to be made!

Tao Pinggui seed to think of this too, and a sharp light flashed in his eyes.

Dr. Wang had said that with the top-quality Cistanche Deserticola, they could develop Super Brother No. 2 within two hours, and his ED could be completely cured!

At that mont, Tao Donglai stood tall, surveying the crowd with an air of arrogance on his face.

This was the face of the Tao Family, with overwhelming deterrence!

Who in the whole of Jiang State would dare not give face to the Tao Family?

However, just then, a familiar voice sounded through the venue.

"Young Master Tao, I offer thirty million. Will you follow?"

As these words were spoken, the entire venue fell silent.

All eyes turned in unison, and upon seeing the owner of paddle number 120, they all inhaled sharply.

What the heck? It’s him again!

Was this guy too fierce or what?

He had just scamd Young Master Tao out of sixty million, and now he was playing the sa trick again?

Damn it!

Hearing that familiar voice, Tao Donglai didn’t need to think to know it was Mo Han challenging him again.

His face darkened as he stood up and said in a deep voice, "Mo Han, you keep opposing again and again. Do you know how to spell ’death’?"

Mo Han shrugged. "Is this a threat, Young Master Tao?"

"You may take it as such," Tao Donglai said ambiguously, nodding his head with a grim expression, "I advise you to put down that paddle, or you’re going to die a miserable death."

"Heh, really?"

Mo Han smiled faintly, his voice suddenly turning cold, "Young Master Tao, this is an auction house, not your family’s ho."

"Things at the auction go to the highest bidder by default. If you don’t understand that, you can go ho and ask your mother."

He paused, then raised his number 120 paddle again, "Thirty million!"
