"Pay back the money? What money!"

Luo Xuanran was in a fit of rage at the mont, frustrated at not having found soone to vent on.

Now that he saw Boss Huang coming over to ask for money, and even with an annoyed tone,

he picked up a cup at hand and smashed it towards Boss Huang.

"Ouch!"

Boss Huang, caught off guard, was hit in the shoulder and let out a sharp cry.

The foreman, Supervisor Liu, and Head Chef Li imdiately rushed over and pushed Luo Xuanran hard, "What a Luo Group! You think we are people without backing?"

"Fine! We are calling people in now!"

"Dammit, you owe money and don’t pay it back, you even dare to lay hands on others!"

By this ti, Boss Huang had recovered and his complexion turned cold instantly, "Now I understand!"

"Old Lady Luo, you were scared we would affect your business dealings with those tycoons, so you fobbed us off to the side!"

"After you have finished negotiating, you ignore us and tell us to piss off!"

"What a perfectly laid plan!"

His voice turned icy as he rummaged in his pocket for his phone and made a call to his subordinates outside, "Xiao Chen! I’ve been beaten up inside!"

"These sons of bitches are not ready to pay, call everyone in!"

As matters looked set to spiral out of control, Old Lady Luo finally regained her composure from the panic and hastened to say, "Boss Huang! Wait a minute!"

"That’s not what we ant."

"Xuan Ran! Get out of the way!"

As she said it, she slamd her cane down on Luo Xuanran’s leg.

She didn’t hold back with the blow, given the urgency of the situation.

If these construction workers were to storm in, the items in her villa would certainly suffer.

So were worth several hundred thousand—a substantial value.

For example, the two Tongzhi-period colorful vases in the hall, valued at 880,000, were gifts from a respected guest when her late husband was still alive.

If those rough individuals accidentally damaged them, the heartache would be imnse.

"Boss Huang, listen to first,"

Old Lady Luo urged, "Calling people in now won’t solve any problem."

"Let be straight with you!"

"In recent tis, our Luo Group has indeed faced difficulties."

"To pay for your materials and workers’ wages, we have even borrowed quite a bit of money from outside."

"Paying for our materials and wages?" Boss Huang laughed, "Then tell , where is the money? Where has it gone?"

At this mont, Old Lady Luo was cursing Luo Yuantu to death in her heart; that guy had gone to the toilet with diarrhea a while ago and had yet to be seen, and the butler sent to find him hadn’t co back either.

"Boss Huang, I know that right now, whatever I say, you will not believe, but I truly had Luo Yuantu dispatch the funds to you,"

Old Lady Luo said sincerely, "Soone has already gone to find Luo Yuantu, and I believe it won’t take long to locate him..."

Clang!

Just then, the door was kicked open.

A large body was thrown in from the outside, "Old Lady Luo, no need to look for him, I’ve brought him back for you."

Old Lady Luo looked up and saw the person lying directly on the ground—it was none other than her eldest son, Luo Yuantu, beaten black and blue.

Following that, a man wearing a floral shirt and smoking a cigarette walked in.

Behind him were more than a dozen burly, black-suited bodyguards, evidently not the type to be trifled with.

"Old Lady Luo, let introduce myself. My na is Wei Gang, one of the shareholders of Grand Tycoon Water Club."

The man in the floral shirt took a puff of his cigarette, blew out a ring of smoke, then slowly said with a foot on Luo Yuantu’s chest, "Your son Luo Yuantu has borrowed a considerable sum from our casino, and now that it’s ti to pay up, he can’t co up with the money. What do you think we should do?"

"Dad!"

"Dad!"

Seeing their father stepped on, Luo Xuanran and Luo Zitong cried out in alarm.

Luo Xuanran, in a mont of impulsiveness, ran towards Wei Gang, only to be slapped to the ground by one of the black-suited bodyguards before even reaching Wei Gang.

Old Lady Luo, being older and having seen her fair share of major crises with her late husband, said solemnly, "Mr. Wei, let’s discuss this matter calmly, please release my son first."

"Sure!"

Wei Gang gave a slight smile and kicked Luo Yuantu over.

At this mont, Luo Yuantu lay on the ground like a soulless, old dog, not moving at all, with no glint in his eyes, muttering non-stop, "It’s over... it’s all over."

"Useless!"

Old Lady Luo scolded in frustration, then took a deep breath and asked Wei Gang, "How much money does my son owe you?"

Wei Gang smiled and didn’t speak, gesturing the figure eight with his hands two tis.

"880,000? Damn it!" Old Lady Luo stamped her foot in frustration on the ground, wishing she could smack her son twice.

While not a significant amount, for the Luo Group in its current state, it was critical. With this money, at least the wages of the chefs and so workers demanding paynt here could be paid.

It’s worth noting that Shengtian Group had just imposed a boycott, and other cooperating companies had also terminated their partnerships with the Luo Group for various reasons.

The Luo Group was in a difficult position, caught between a rock and a hard place.

The money invested could not be reclaid, and behind them, the material suppliers and workers were hounding the Luo Group for money.

Moreover, the original 270 million used for project construction was borrowed at a high-interest rate.

Although they falsified docunts and took out loans in Luo Ning’s na, if Luo Ning couldn’t repay the money, they would ultimately still co looking for Luo Group for trouble...

Thinking of this, Old Lady Luo had a splitting headache.

"Old Lady Luo, you guessed wrong, it’s not 880,000," Wei Gang shook his head and spoke indifferently, "If it were just 880,000, do you think I would personally co over?"

"My ti is precious, and I don’t care about such a small amount of money," he said.
