At five in the afternoon, Luo Ning and Mo Han ca out of the rest area on ti and walked to the pier factory.
Unlike before, this ti all the workers bowed their heads, consciously keeping their distance from Luo Ning.
It was a joke, the workers who had previously harassed Luo Ning had all been sent to the hospital. They certainly did not want to repeat the sa mistakes.
At that mont, the pier warehouse was filled with more than twenty large trucks, each one fully loaded with steel materials.
When Mo Han arrived, he saw the workers still operating the cranes, moving steel materials onto the trucks.
"Beautiful lady, these are all the goods. I will arrange for the truck drivers to deliver all the steel to the specified location within three days," said Boss He with a smile as he squinted his eyes upon seeing Luo Ning.
Luo Ning, sowhat uneasy, spoke up, "I want to inspect the goods."
She had always been cautious in her dealings, and Boss He did not seem very reliable, so Luo Ning took the initiative to propose an inspection.
Upon hearing about the inspection, Boss He’s face fell, and he said impatiently, "Inspect the goods? What is there to inspect?"
"I’ve never inspected goods in my business!"
Hmm?
The more the other party acted this way, the more suspicious Luo Ning beca, and she insisted, "Boss He, I must inspect this cargo!"
"Won are so troubleso!"
Boss He, impatient, waved his hand and gave Wang Liang a knowing look, the latter nodded, signaling the workers to stop and wait for Luo Ning to inspect the goods.
Mo Han did not hesitate to set up a ladder and helped Luo Ning onto the truck, starting to check each one thoroughly.
The first few trucks they checked indeed had no problems, with the type and specifications all matching.
But during the inspection of the seventh truck, a pier worker obviously tried to block them. Mo Han, too lazy to argue, simply pushed the man aside and took out the materials he had just pulled out for inspection.
As expected, the steel materials in this truck not only did not et the specifications but many were also substandard.
Luo Ning was furious but still continued to check the remaining trucks.
This inspection really turned up so issues.
Out of the twenty-five trucks, aside from the first six having no problems, the goods loaded on the later nineteen trucks were almost half substandard steel materials.
"Boss He! What is the aning of this?"
After descending from the truck, Luo Ning questioned with displeasure, "The steel I requested was specified in the contract. Why are you trying to appease with these inferior goods!"
"What inferior goods! What the hell do you know!"
Caught red-handed, Boss He displayed not a trace of embarrassnt, he simply shrugged his shoulders and said carelessly, "All these steel materials are qualified. It’s just that they don’t look very good."
"If you like them, take them!"
"If not, then pay the unloading fee of 4.5 million and leave!"
4.5 million for unloading fees?
Luo Ning was initially stunned, then imdiately understood the implication in Boss He’s words: he was asking her to return the 4.5 million she had won.
He was deliberately looking for trouble!
Realizing this, she was not courteous with him and directly launched into a tirade, "Boss He! I warn you! We have a signed contract!"
"Your current act of using inferior steel to fulfill the contract amounts to a serious breach. I can take you to court at any ti and demand you pay more than triple the contract amount in damages!"
"Trying to pressure with the court?" Boss He sneered contemptuously, "Sure, go ahead and sue. I know the court procedures too. By the ti the paperwork is done, heh, I reckon your East City Comrcial Street’s first phase will also be over, right?"
As he spoke, he specifically signaled Wang Liang with his eyes, who nodded and quietly had the workers close the warehouse doors.
Luo Ning’s heart skipped a beat, this was exactly what she had feared the most.
The construction period for East City Comrcial Street was tight, and there was an urgent need for steel materials. Going to court would take at least a few months.
By the ti the lawsuit was over, the construction period would have long passed...
Seeing his wife trembling with anger, Mo Han shook his head helplessly. He knew that Boss He would not just hand over what he had sold to Ning’er so easily.
"Sigh..."
He sighed deeply, shielding Luo Ning with his body, and muttered to himself, "It seems so people don’t learn their lessons!"
"What? Looking for a fight?"
Boss He had been paying attention to Mo Han’s movents and knew that Mo was about to take action again when he stepped forward.
"No choice, so people are too forgetful. They need to be given so morable lessons."
Mo Han pressed on his head, conditioned his fingers, and looked indifferently at the other party, "Boss He, what do you say?"
"Pah! Mo, don’t think you’re amazing just because you know a few tricks!"
Boss He’s lips curled slightly, a proud expression on his face, "Let tell you, the person coming to deal with you has already arrived!"
As he was speaking, a middle-aged man of average height with short cropped hair walked out from the gate.
He looked to be in his thirties, dressed in a white shirt, head held high with firm and steady steps, clearly a practitioner of external martial arts.
"Atreus, you’ve finally arrived!"
Boss He hurried forward, pointing in Mo Han’s direction and furiously said, "It’s this guy, too arrogant for his own good!"
"He not only beat up more than thirty of our pier workers but also crippled Ghost and Ape."
"Now he’s even trying to force to sell the steel at a low price..."
"I ntioned that Blacklight Pier is under the Martial Alliance’s protection, but he went so far as to say, ’What’s the Martial Alliance worth anyway’..."
He spoke while cautiously watching Atreus’s expression.
Sure enough, Atreus seed indifferent to the beginning of the narrative, but when he heard "What’s the Martial Alliance worth anyway," his eyes clearly showed anger.
"Daring to insult our Martial Alliance, he’s asking for death!"
