"Grandfather, is the Qiankun Elixir really as miraculous as that guy said?"

Although Gui Ruyun had been learning dicine at her grandfather’s side for the past few years, she mostly held consultations in the countryside, treating villagers’ illnesses, and had hardly ever read a few dical books. Even if she did, they were mostly modern compilations of Traditional Chinese dicine prescriptions.

Therefore, she truly didn’t know about the Qiankun Elixir, let alone the shock it brought with it.

"Little Yun! How many tis has Grandfather told you, the skilled ones lead! Mister Mo’s dical skills are far beyond you and . According to the rules, we both should address him as Master Mo!"

Gui Nongsang frowned and scolded, "If you disregard rank and seniority like this again, go and receive thirty strokes of the disciplinary ruler yourself!"

Upon hearing about the disciplinary ruler, Gui Ruyun’s face turned pale in an instant.

During these years of learning dicine from her grandfather, she had endured the disciplinary ruler quite a few tis.

She gulped nervously and, tugging at her grandfather’s shoulder, she cooed, "Grandfather, I’m sorry, I won’t call him that anymore."

"That, I was just curious, you know. I thought that whatever Qiankun Elixir was purely a scam to deceive people."

Gui Nongsang shook his head, looking at Mo Han’s retreating figure, he sighed deeply, "Ru Yun, Mister Mo is a person like an immortal. If he says that there is a formula for the Qiankun Elixir, then there certainly is."

"The Qiankun Elixir, as recorded in ancient texts, is a miraculous pill that can regenerate bones and save lives from death. Miss Zhao truly has hope this ti."

Gui Ruyun’s eyes lit up, "Does that an there’s hope for your illness too, Grandfather?"

"If there really is a Qiankun Elixir, not to ntion this lung injury of mine, all of the old ailnts will be completely eradicated."

"The Qiankun Elixir, that’s a miraculous pill that can reverse heaven and earth!"

"Then I’ll go ask him!" Gui Ruyun nodded firmly, quickly wanting to chase after Mo Han.

Gui Nongsang grabbed his granddaughter’s sleeve with one hand, "You mustn’t!"

"I have neither personal nor past connections with Mister Mo. Besides, the Qiankun Elixir is a top-notch divine dicine, priceless in value. It would certainly be improper to plead for it like this."

"Do this, go back and bring the Hundred-Year Changbai Ginseng here, and we will stay in Jiangling City for a while."

...

"Hey, Dad, where are you?"

If it weren’t for the call from his father-in-law, Mo Han would’ve stayed to chat with He Chen, to see if it was possible to gather together all of the materials required for the Qiankun Elixir.

On the other end of the phone, Luo Yuantu spoke urgently, "I’m at the Yulin Zhai in North City Antique Town, hurry up and co!"

"North City Antique Town, Yulin Zhai?"

Mo Han frowned slightly and couldn’t help asking, "Dad, what are you doing there?"

Yulin Zhai, located in the North City of Jiangling, is the largest shop within North City Antique Town—rumored to have each collectible starting at a five-figure price tag at least.

The reason Mo Han felt sothing was off was because his father-in-law, despite enjoying strolling through antique streets and dreaming of finding a bargain, didn’t have much money. He usually just wandered around the antique street for fun. How could he possibly have gone to the largest Yulin Zhai?

Moreover, from the way his father-in-law spoke, it seed like there was so problem.

"Stop rambling! If I’m telling you to co, then co quickly!" Luo Yuantu, not wanting to babble with Mo Han, abruptly hung up the phone and also sent him a location.

Mo Han had no choice but to ride his electric scooter in a rush to the antique town.

Jiangling City is a na with historical origins, and North City is a well-planned tourist attraction.

To facilitate tourists and locals to experience the cultural and historical atmosphere here, the tourism departnt expanded the originally not-so-large antique street in North City and invested a great deal of money to refurbish and decorate, forming the now five-kiloter-long Antique Town.

The last ti Mo Han lied to Luo Ning about coming here to buy a gift for Grandma, who would’ve thought he’d actually co this ti.

Twenty minutes later, he arrived at North City Antique Town on his electric scooter.

Despite living in Jiangling City year-round, he had hardly ever visited North City Antique Street.

To retain the authentic feel of Antique Town, the roads here aren’t very wide, and electric scooters aren’t allowed inside, so Mo Han had to park his scooter at the entrance and walked in on foot.

All along the way, antique shops were lined up on the streets of Antique Town, displaying jade, porcelain, calligraphy, and paintings, with tourists bustling about, stopping and going.

There were also so temporary stalls spread out on the ground, covered with newspapers, showcasing antiques, stone and wood carvings, and old books.

More or less, crowds of people gathered in front of these stalls.

On seeing Mo Han walking alone, a sly-looking young man greeted him with a smile, "Handso guy, interested in antiques?"

"We have porcelain from the Tang Dynasty and calligraphy from the Song Dynasty. Take a look..."

Mo Han waved his hand, too anxious about his father-in-law to be bothered with these people. He looked up and spotted not far away an antiquely decorated shop with a sign hanging above it, precisely "Yulin Zhai".

"What? Six million?"

As soon as Mo Han entered the doorway of Yulin Zhai, he heard his father-in-law’s familiar voice.

In his field of vision, his father-in-law Luo Yuantu, seemingly cultured in a white shirt, was red in the neck, as if he had suffered a trendous affront.

Around him were five or six individuals in work clothes, one of them plump and pale, wearing a suit with a na tag that read Zhou Chao, the store manager responsible for this establishnt.

Mo Han hurried inside and said, "Dad, what’s going on?"

Feeling slightly relieved to see his son-in-law, Luo Yuantu took several deep breaths and said, "They’re swindlers in this shop!"

"Swindlers?"

With a cold snort, store manager Zhou Chao responded, "You broke a Yuan Dynasty porcelain piece worth six million from our store, and you’re calling us swindlers?"

"Do you know this is Yulin Zhai? Do you realize this is under the umbrella of Zhou Group?"

"Fine, I don’t want to argue anymore. You have two choices!"

"Either pay six million now and the piece is yours, or I report this to the police for handling!"

"With the Zhou Clan’s connections in Jiangling, getting you locked away for ten to eight years is as easy as flipping a hand!"

"Choose!"
