2:30 PM, as the people from Dayue Group entered the venue, the originally bustling crowd imdiately fell silent, staring intently at the mbers of Dayue Group.
Wherever their eyes lingered a mont longer, it could be a signal, possibly indicating which company had won the project.
Liu Yuan sat upright, his nervous gaze also fixed on the people from Dayue Group.
Finally, amidst everyone's anticipation, Li Chengyuan walked out from backstage. He held in his hand two lists, which contained the nas of the companies that had won the bids.
Li Chengyuan wore a smile as he made a few courteous remarks onstage before beginning to announce the bidding results.
Li Chengyuan announced the results in reverse order; with each announcent, a few people in the audience beca excited, while many others hung their heads in disappointnt. The competition in this public bidding was extrely fierce. But that's the nature of business, where competition is ever-present.
Liu Yuan fixed his eyes on Li Chengyuan, his nervousness making him forget to put the water bottle back on the table, clutching it tightly instead.
Announcing the results in reverse order ant that Liu Yuan would soon find out if he had won a bid.
"Item twenty-nine, the winning company, Changfeng Company."
The result Li Chengyuan announced caused Liu Yuan's expression to change. Changfeng Company was precisely the company he used to work for, and it was also Chen Daqiang's company.
Upon hearing the result, Chen Daqiang was imdiately ecstatic. Had it not been for the need to keep quiet in the hall, he certainly would have shouted out loud.
Chen Daqiang gave Liu Yuan a distant glance, his face full of a provoking expression.
"Director Chen, I don't think they stand much chance now," Lin Feng said softly to the side: "Their company is capable of handling only a few projects. Considering their capability, they definitely bid for these later projects. I reckon the ones they went for have already passed, and they didn't win any bids."
"I disagree," Chen Daqiang shook his head, saying, "I feel like they didn't even put together a decent proposal. Look at that graduate from Northern University, with his unlucky face — what can he actually do? Choosing beef noodles at such a dining event, he probably just ca up from the countryside not long ago, still stuck in a farr's way of thinking.
If that guy can write a proposal, then I'll be the one surprised."
Lin Feng chuckled, saying, "What Director Chen said is absolutely accurate. That guy sure knows how to brag. Hmph, after the announcents are over, I'll ask him in person how is it that a talented graduate from Northern University couldn't secure even a single project?"
"Hahaha..." Chen Daqiang also laughed, casting a scornful glance at Liu Yuan, his eyes full of mockery.
Liu Yuan's face was flushed with embarrassnt, and he did not et Chen Daqiang's gaze, focusing only on Li Chengyuan, waiting for him to speak again.
"Item twenty-seven, the winning company..."
Liu Yuan sat up straight, involuntarily swallowing. Although Li Chengyuan paused for only a mont, to him, the less than a second's delay felt as long as a century.
Would he win this project bid?
At last, Li Chengyuan spoke again, smiling, "Das Group."
Liu Yuan was struck as by lightning; it took him a while to co back to his senses, his face filled with joy and excitent. If not for the crowded hall, he certainly would have cheered out loud: "I won! I won! I've won a bid too!"
On the other side, Chen Daqiang's expression changed; he had thought that Liu Yuan couldn't secure a single project. Yet, Liu Yuan had actually won a project, and furthermore, the project Liu Yuan won was better than the one he had won. This ti, he had been openly slapped in the face!
"That Bastard, he actually managed to win a bid!" Chen Daqiang muttered resentfully.
"That's just dumb luck," Lin Feng consoled Chen Daqiang, saying, "Don't worry about them; there are more to co. Rest assured, I will definitely secure the eighteenth project!"
Chen Daqiang gave Lin Feng a look and nodded slowly. On this point, he had confidence in Lin Feng. After all, one of Lin Feng's forr classmates was in Dayue Group, and he had given Lin Feng so inside information, briefly ntioning what the eighteenth project entailed.
Lin Feng had been preparing for this project for two days now, much longer than the others; he was quite confident in securing this project.

A sudden announcent once again shocked Chen Daqiang, almost making him jump.
"Das Group again?"

"Did we hear that wrong?"
"Das Group didn't have the capacity before, how did they win two bids now?"
Many people had already started discussing, as those present were quite familiar with each other's corporations. For Das Group to win two projects in this bid was simply defying the heavens.
Although the combined value of these two projects was only four million, which was nothing compared to the projects in the top ten that were worth tens of millions, getting both projects at the sa ti was very rare!

"Damn it, did this bastard really step in dog shit?" Chen Daqiang said angrily, his face now swollen red. Just monts ago, he was haughtily ridiculing Liu Yuan, but now faced with reality, his pride had taken a serious hit.
Lin Feng's complexion wasn't looking good either. Clenching his teeth, he said solemnly, "Director Chen, don't worry. Their two projects together are only worth four million. Our eighteenth project is worth three million, and together, our projects add up to five million. We can still suppress them!"
"Being just one million higher doesn't sit well with !" Chen Daqiang furiously said as he glared at Ye Qing from a distance, starting to believe what Ye had said earlier. After all, one man had prepared two project proposals, and both had won. This was not sothing an ordinary person could achieve.
"A win is a win, even if it's only by 1 cent," Lin Feng stated.
Chen Daqiang took a deep breath, avoiding eye contact with Liu Yuan, and instead turned to anxiously wait for the announcent of the eighteenth project. Only with the disclosure of this project could he finally breathe easy and redeem himself!

At the sa ti, Liu Yuan was filled with shock. Ye Qing had created three project proposals in two hours, and all three had won. Wasn't Ye Qing's ability a bit too terrifying?
"Das Group, not bad," Li Chengyuan also said with a smile on stage. "I looked over their proposal, and it was very distinctive, with thoughtful design that perfectly t our company's requirents."
Liu Yuan smiled shyly, but he was secretly overjoyed. The three projects he had secured added up to nearly seven million.

Even for a company like Das Group, seven million in projects was half a year's worth of business. Liu Yuan used to struggle to secure projects worth a hundred thousand or so, and now, securing projects worth seven million was almost unbelievable to him!
Chen Daqiang collapsed into his chair, having lost thoroughly this ti. Thinking back to his arrogant behavior in front of Liu Yuan, his face burned with sha. This ti, he had completely lost face!
"Impossible! Impossible!" Suddenly, Lin Feng stood up, shouting, "His proposal can't possibly be better than mine. I don't believe it, there must be a problem here!"
Lin Feng's shout drew everyone's attention, including Li Chengyuan's.
