To tell the truth, nobody in the company expected Ye Qing to help Wang Xuan pick up his things and organize them.
These people in the company had all suffered from Wang Xuan's troubles and had mostly been reported on by him. Yet, the one who was troubled the most by Wang Xuan and reported on most frequently—the one who was most ruthlessly sabotaged—was Ye Qing. Anyone else would have at least kicked Wang Xuan out of Yunchi Company, let alone help him pick up his things.
Yet, it was Ye Qing who helped Wang Xuan. Ye Qing looked at Wang Xuan and said, "After all, we have worked together for so long, there's no need to beco enemies."
Looking at the pile of things in front of him, Wang Xuan's face turned shades of purple and blue. After a while, he spat and cursed, "Ye, you son of a bitch, stop pretending to be compassionate. I know you well, we'll see who crosses whose path!"
Just as Wang Xuan picked up his things and was about to leave, Lin Huayu's voice ca from behind, "Wait a minute."
Two bodyguards ca over and stopped Wang Xuan, who turned to look at Lin Huayu, involuntary smile appearing on his face.
He could speak harshly to Mu Qingrong and harshly to Ye Qing. But he never dare speak harshly to the daughter of the Lin family.
"Miss Lin, do you need sothing?" Wang Xuan's mind raced—perhaps Lin Huayu had finally recognized his talents and wanted to hire him for Lin Corporation? If that were the case, how gloriously uplifting it would be!

Wang Xuan covered his face, feeling utterly humiliated in front of everyone. Yet, facing the daughter of the Lin family, he did not dare to retort and could only look at Lin Huayu resentfully, then angrily at Ye Qing.
"Still looking unconvinced, huh!" Lin Huayu's anger flared again, she reached out to hit him, but Ye Qing stopped her.
"Enough," Ye Qing looked at Wang Xuan and said, "Manager Wang, although our ti together wasn't very pleasant, you are still very capable. I hope you can find better developnt elsewhere."
"I definitely will do well, I definitely will co back. The humiliation I suffered today, I will definitely settle the score with you one day!" Wang Xuan bellowed without being moved by Ye Qing's magnanimity, and instead grew even more resentful towards Ye Qing.
A morally warped man like him can't be changed, and Wang Xuan was clearly such a person.
"You sure talk big!" Lin Huayu, enraged, said to the bodyguards beside her, "Go and cripple his legs!"

Li Lianshan didn't enter but pointed at Wang Xuan, who was bending over to pick up his things, "Who is this guy, being so arrogant?"
Before Ye Qing could respond, Lin Huayu interrupted, "That's Ye's enemy, who just got fired by Ms. Mu!"
"Enemy?" Li Lianshan was taken aback, then looked down at Wang Xuan, and said, "What did you do to Little Ye?"
"Mind your own damn business and fuck off!" Wang Xuan said irritably.
"Damn, watch your mouth!" The followers behind Li Lianshan were not pleased. These guys were thugs, and respect was everything on the streets. Not to ntion Li Lianshan, even if it was them being scolded, they would have to reclaim so respect. Now that their boss had been insulted, it was an even bigger issue.
Li Lianshan too was infuriated. "I damn well ca over and you bumped into ; I didn't even say anything and you cursed
out first. Since when have I ever been so humiliated?"
"Fuck off? I think you're the one who needs to fuck off today!" Li Lianshan kicked Wang Xuan in the shoulder, causing him to lose balance and fall to the ground.
"You looking for trouble, aren't you!" Wang Xuan yelled, sitting on the ground, "You dare to hit ? Do you know Lin Sang of Xicheng District? That's my bro. Believe it or not, I can have people chop you up!"
Li Lianshan turned to his follower and asked, "Lin Sang? Who's that?"
"I know him," a follower said. "He's a worthless thug from Chunhua Mouth. Tried to join
a while back, but I didn't take him in. The guy's a loser, his deeds are pathetic, and he's incompetent."
"I thought he was so big shot!" Li Lianshan sneered, pointing at Wang Xuan, "Beat him up. I want to see who he can call to chop
up. Damn, I've been in Shenchuan City for so many years, and this is the first ti I've seen soone so arrogant!"
A few followers surrounded Wang Xuan and started beating him up. Wang Xuan cradled his head and scurried around, yelling loudly, "I'm calling the cops! I'm calling the cops!"
The guy couldn't intimidate Li Lianshan with Lin Sang's na, so his imdiate thought was to call the cops. Truly a last resort with no other tricks up his sleeve.
Li Lianshan gestured magnanimously, "Go ahead, tell the cops that Li Lianshan beat you! Damn, why do you have to be such a pain in the ass?"
"You... you're Li Lianshan..." Wang Xuan's eyes widened. He frequented entertainnt venues and, of course, had heard of Li Lianshan. He was well aware of this underworld figure's ruthless nature.
He couldn't understand how Li Lianshan seed to have a good relationship with Ye Qing. What was going on here? What did Ye Qing do exactly? Why did the daughter of the Lin Corporation treat him so well, and Li Lianshan address him like a brother?

"Alright, stop beating him!" Ye Qing walked out and stopped Li Lianshan's followers.

Ye Qing finally got Li Lianshan and his n inside Yunchi Company. Wang Xuan, beaten and bloodied, picked himself up from the ground, his movents sluggish and desolate like a defeated rooster. It wasn't until he entered the elevator that a hint of cold light flashed in his eyes, unnoticed by anyone.
Li Lianshan slapped Ye Qing's shoulder, "Man, there are too many villains in the workplace. Catch them, and you need to eliminate them completely, leave no chance for them to rise again, otherwise, they will definitely plot to oust you later!"
