As the wolf-headed beast kept howling, more and more monstrous beasts appeared, excited at the sight of the two, wanting to devour them.
However, like the wolf-headed beast, none dared to approach.

Another small cavern had a soothing purple glow descending from above.
They tried to climb to see the source of the purple glow but failed.
From that day on, they were trapped in this cave.
Beasts occasionally lurked outside, though so left after waiting.
Finding no food in the cave was odd as they surprisingly weren’t hungry. When thirst beca unbearable, Ukawa Taro courageously drank from the stalactite pool, discovering it contained potent energy that not only quenched thirst and hunger but had imnse benefits on a cultivator’s body, enhancing physical and spiritual strength with a rebirth effect.
Without the crisis of food and water, they gradually cald, searching for an exit, but in vain.
