Du Wanrou: "Auntie, this is what Qin Hao bought a few days ago."
Feng Xiangyi said with so surprise, "How much did this cost?"
Qin Hao replied, "All in, over sixty million."
Feng Xiangyi gasped, over sixty million, where did Qin Hao get so much money?
The revenues of Jiangshan Roasted Duck Company were all reinvested in developnt, and Qin Hao hadn't received a penny from it.
So where did this money co from?
Could it be that he had other companies? Or so other way to make money, otherwise where would he get so much money?
Feng Xiangyi didn't ask; after all, it wasn't her place to pry into such private matters.
The three of them went to the seaside.
They had a blast catching crabs, digging for clams, and fishing.
Qin Hao held a plastic bucket, filled with the spoils of war gathered by Du Wanrou and Feng Xiangyi.
"Haha, Qin Hao co quickly, I caught a big one!" Du Wanrou called from not far away, her face beaming with joy.
Qin Hao hurried over and saw Du Wanrou holding a crab the size of a palm.
"Be careful not to let it clamp you with its big pincers."
Du Wanrou chuckled, "No problem, I know where to grab it, we can have a feast tonight."
After about two hours of fun, the won caught plenty of crabs, clams, and fish and were very happy. Even with their skirts soaked on the way back, it did not dampen their spirits one bit.
Back at the villa, Du Wanrou gave Feng Xiangyi a set of her own clothes to change into.
Qin Hao went into the kitchen to clean the crab, clams, and fish.
Although he had never done this before, it did not stop him from learning online.
How to cook various dishes, what to pay attention to, and what seasoning to use—all were clearly described on the internet.
By now, they had bought everything needed for living in the villa.
Feng Xiangyi and Du Wanrou, having changed their clothes, ca in to help.
Qin Hao said with a smile, "You two just go watch TV in the living room, I got this."
Du Wanrou: "Can you handle it alone?"
Qin Hao: "No problem, everything is explained very clearly online, and soon you'll see for yourselves how good I am."
The two won did not insist any further and sat on the sofa to watch TV.
After more than half an hour, stir-fried clams, spicy crabs, stewed fish, and several vegetable dishes with condints were brought to the table.
When Du Wanrou and Feng Xiangyi slled the aroma, their stomachs growled.
"Wow, it slls amazing." After speaking, she ran to the dining table, swallowing saliva at the sight.
Qin Hao took drinks out of the refrigerator and said, "Co, let's eat and taste my culinary skills."
"Mmm, not bad, delicious," Feng Xiangyi praised after a few bites.
As they ate, they watched the military news channel on TV.
...
After the al, the three watched TV news for a while before going back to their rooms to rest.
Feng Xiangyi stayed in a bedroom on the first floor, while Qin Hao and Du Wanrou headed to the master bedroom on the second floor.
Saturday morning.
After breakfast, just as Qin Hao and the others were about to go out, two cars stopped outside the villa.
A few expressionless n got out.
"What are you here for?" Feng Xiangyi asked warily, seeing these people.
One of them showed his credentials from his pocket: "City criminal police squad. Please co with us."
Qin Hao frowned slightly, sensing sothing amiss, but his expression remained unchanged.
Du Wanrou asked confusedly, "Haven't we already given our statents?"
"There's a new developnt in the case; we need your assistance for further investigation," was the reply.
Qin Hao and Du Wanrou got into the car, and Feng Xiangyi followed.
City Police Departnt.
At 8:30 a.m., Qin Hao and his companions arrived at the Criminal Investigation Division.
Miao Jing eyed Qin Hao unblinkingly, hoping to catch a slip in his gaze.
Yet she was disappointed, for Qin Hao's face revealed nothing, adorned instead with a faint smile.
"Take these two to the interrogation room," Miao Jing instructed soone by her side. Find adventures at My Virtual Library Empire
Qin Hao and Du Wanrou were led to the interrogation room—and they were put in the sa one.
Feng Xiangyi asked, puzzled, "Officer Miao, what does this an? Weren't the statents completed?"
Miao Jing spoke indifferently, "Mr. Feng, there's been a new finding in the case. Qin Hao is highly likely the murderer who killed Wang Jun and his nine n."
Feng Xiangyi coldly retorted, "Qin Hao killed Wang Jun's nine n? Officer Miao, you should have evidence before you speak, or don't bla us for suing you for defamation.
Our company's legal departnt will be here shortly."
Miao Jing ignored her and entered the interrogation room.
Miao Jing had been collecting evidence these past few days but had found nothing conclusive.
So she decided to take a risk, as ti was running short.
The nine-man homicide case had reached the city leadership's ears, and an expedient resolution was demanded—the deadline had already been set.
Miao Jing had no choice but to make a move today.
Inside the interrogation room.
Miao Jing looked at Qin Hao and said, "Qin Hao, you murdered Wang Jun and his nine n and frad Zhu Qiang. Do you plead guilty?"
Du Wanrou's face stiffened in shock. "Officer Miao, are you mistaken? I saw with my own eyes another man killing Wang Jun."
Qin Hao chuckled. "Officer Miao, you haven't rested in days and seem sowhat delusional.
You should rest now, rather than talking nonsense here."
Miao Jing sneered, "I'm talking nonsense? Why then does Wang Jun have over a dozen fatal knife wounds.
While the others have only one?
Qin Hao tensed inwardly but responded coolly, "You should be asking the murderer that, not , Officer Miao."
Miao Jing pressed on, "Because you witnessed Wang Jun trying to assault your girlfriend.
You killed him in a fit of anger. How else can you explain the nurous fatal stabs? One was enough to kill; why stab him over a dozen tis?
This indicates profound hatred between the two, and upon investigation, Zhu Qiang had no quarrel with Wang Jun."
