"Thank , thank for what?" Zhang Hao asked Jiang Bin, a baffled expression on his face.

Jiang Bin said with a smile, "It’s because of you that I can fulfill my wish to beco a father. I’ve already seen Xiao Rui’s dical report today."

"Over the years, I’ve accompanied Xiao Rui to so many hospitals, and I’ve seen quite a few of her dical reports."

"This ti, it’s clear her health has improved a lot compared to before, and certainly, Doctor Zhang’s excellent dical skills have played a big part."

"Moreover, Xiao Rui told that you said if all goes well, we might have a child by the end of the year. I never imagined, I would one day have my own child."

Seeing her husband speak these words, Xu Rui’s eyes welled up with tears.

"It’s all my fault, husband. I’ve been frail since childhood, and through all these years of marriage, I’ve not given you even one child," she said.

"I almost caused you to miss out on being a father. Actually, before I went to Doctor Zhang for treatnt, I had already prepared myself to offer you a divorce."

"It was because of that you couldn’t beco a father. I couldn’t let you give up this wish unwillingly. Thankfully, Doctor Zhang gave hope."

"I just don’t know whether you’d prefer a daughter or a son." As Xu Rui spoke more and more excitedly, tears began to fall unchecked.

Jiang Bin, holding his wife, laughed and said, "Whether it is a son or a daughter, as long as it’s from you, it’s wonderful."

At that mont, Xu Rui suddenly felt like the happiest woman in the world.

Having a husband who understood and embraced her fully was more exhilarating than winning five million.

Now that it had co up, Zhang Hao couldn’t help but be serious.

"Since you plan to have children by the end of the year, you must rember everything I told you today," he said.

"Luckily, we live nearby. You can co to anyti if you have any issues; I don’t mind using my personal ti to examine you."

Xu Rui felt very fortunate. "Then many thanks to Doctor Zhang. I’d offer you a drink, but since you told that during the dication period, I should avoid alcohol and cigarettes, I’ll have to toast with tea instead," she said.

Xu Rui lifted the teacup and raised it, and the four of them clinked cups.

Zhang Hao took a sip of red wine and found it quite pleasant.

"This wine isn’t bad at all. What brand is it?" Zhang Hao asked.

"It’s one I brought back from abroad. I also think it tastes good. How about I give you two bottles to take ho and enjoy whenever you like with your wife?" Jiang Bin offered.

The dinner lasted until about eleven o’clock at night when Zhang Hao and He Qianhui were leaving.

Jiang Bin actually took out two unopened bottles of red wine from his study.

"Here, take these back with you and enjoy them slowly. If you like it, I can ask a friend to help buy so more and ship them over next ti," Jiang Bin said.

The wine was indeed good, and Zhang Hao could find no words to refuse. "I’ll defer to your hospitality then; we’ll be taking our leave now," he said.

Zhang Hao had already stepped out the door but then turned back to Jiang Bin and said, "By the way, there’s one more thing I forgot to ntion."

"During this ti, you two should reduce the frequency of your physical relationship."

"Maintaining it to twice a week should be sufficient; too frequently can deplete her vital energy."

Traditional Chinese dicine, after all, emphasizes nurturing the body from the inside out.

Upon hearing this from Zhang Hao, Xu Rui’s cheeks flushed with embarrassnt.

In front of a practitioner of traditional Chinese dicine, really no secret could be hidden.

Ever since Jiang Bin had returned, their marital relations, as if to make up for lost ti.

Had beco zealously compensatory, occurring nearly every evening, at least once.

Xu Rui had never realized her husband could be so capable in that regard.

His prowess was almost jaw-dropping.

"Husband, you have to listen to Doctor Zhang’s advice, and I must too," Xu Rui said.

Jiang Bin frowned and cocked his head to look at his wife, "Alright, then I’ll just endure for a while, until you’re completely well, then I’ll tease you."

Unable to endure seeing them so intimate, Zhang Hao and He Qianhui quickly entered the elevator.

Inside the elevator, He Qianhui hooked her arm with Zhang Hao’s, "Seeing them so happy makes feel happy too, what about you?"

Zhang Hao looked at the two bottles of wine in his hand and said, "When we get ho, let’s start with one bottle to liven things up."

Once He Qianhui heard this, she instantly understood his implication and felt shyly flustered.

"Liven what up? I still haven’t finished my period, wait till it’s over before you liven things up," He Qianhui said.

After exiting the elevator, Zhang Hao walked slowly holding He Qianhui’s hand.

The two hos were not far apart, just a three-to-five-minute walk.

Yet, such a short distance took them ten minutes to walk.

As they passed a small pavilion, Zhang Hao deliberately slowed down.

Noticing this, He Qianhui also slowed her pace, "What are you looking at? Be careful, or soone from the pavilion might see you loitering and drag you out for a beating."

Zhang Hao, hearing this, took another couple of glances towards the pavilion and then yelled out, "Raid the brothels!"

He then rushed off with He Qianhui, and after running a distance, they saw a food stall below.

"Want to buy sothing to take back?" Zhang Hao asked.

Looking at the snacks for sale on the stall, He Qianhui touched her stomach and said, "I’m already full, are you still hungry?"

Zhang Hao did not directly answer her question but went straight to the stall and selected a pile of different items.

When it ca ti to pay, several dozen yuan were gone.

Back ho, He Qianhui couldn’t resist the aroma of the snacks and quickly ran to the kitchen to grab a large soup basin upon entering.

She dumped all the spicy skewers they had bought into it.

Zhang Hao, not stopping her, joined her by bringing bowls and chopsticks, and the two sat on the sofa, enjoying the food again.

"By the way, I have to go on a business trip in a couple of days, but it’s a short one this ti, I’ll be back within three days."

Zhang Hao paused, asking, "Can your body handle it? I rember you’re usually quite weak for a day or two during your period."

He Qianhui spread her hands helplessly, "Can’t help it, the boss has ordered it; I’ll take good care of myself."

"But this ti I have to go with a male colleague, don’t worry, I’ll definitely book two rooms, the company is quite generous with travel expenses."

In fact, Zhang Hao wasn’t hung up on whether they would stay in one room or two.

Even if it cost him personally, it didn’t matter, they could afford it.

"When staying out, you should stay at nicer places, if necessary, I can reimburse you for the travel expenses."

Upon hearing this, He Qianhui promptly took out her phone and calculated every penny she had spent on accommodation for business trips from the day she started working until now.

"Here it is, do you want to pay now or do it in installnts?"

Seeing those expenses, Zhang Hao wasted no ti, scanned a QR code with his phone, and transferred the money to her, "Your company is your company’s; this is sothing personal I am compensating."

He Qianhui, happy as a three-year-old child after receiving the transfer.

"Then this ti I’ll definitely pick a five-star hotel to uphold my status."

Zhang Hao said nothing, simply eating up the few remaining skewers in the soup basin as if they were snacks.

Unfortunately, as He Qianhui was in her period these past few days, even if he had ideas, he could only temporarily hold back.
