As soon as the man heard that He Qianhui couldn’t drink cold drinks, and that she was feeling unwell these days,

he imdiately understood what was going on.

However, the lighting in the movie theater was dim, so it was hard to see his expression clearly.

But He Qianhui could distinctly feel that he was sowhat disappointed.

"Feeling unwell, huh? Your boss really doesn’t have much sympathy for the staff."

"Feeling unwell and still having to travel for work, don’t do this next ti."

He Qianhui gave a slight smile, and until the movie started, she could feel the man’s gaze fixed on her the whole ti.

He shifted his position several tis, though it was unclear why; perhaps his third leg was getting out of control.

Luckily, there were no other people on either side of them; otherwise, there would definitely have been complaints.

As she watched, He Qianhui started feeling sleepy—this movie was truly uninteresting.

It hadn’t been playing for twenty minutes before people began to leave their seats.

They had initially said the movie was sold out, but He Qianhui knew she’d been fooled as soon as she entered.

The viewers were sparse, and even He Qianhui herself felt drowsy.

She turned her head to take a nap, and in a daze, she felt soone touching her leg.

He Qianhui opened her eyes sharply and saw the man next to her quickly withdraw his hand.

"Did I fall asleep just now?" He Qianhui purposely asked.

"Well... it seems like it. I was just about to wake you up; the movie doesn’t seem very interesting."

He Qianhui adjusted her sitting position.

"It’s okay, maybe it’s because I didn’t rest well yesterday, so I feel sleepy in a comfortable environnt. I’m really sorry."

Once she was fully awake, He Qianhui beca extrely alert.

She didn’t get up until the lights in the theater were turned on at the end of the movie.

The audience in front was grumbling loudly, cursing it as a terrible film.

But He Qianhui didn’t pay any attention to what the movie was actually about.

Or whether it was a terrible film or not.

When they left the theater, it was already dark outside.

He Qianhui whispered to Feng Nuo, "Do you plan to hang out for a while longer, or go back to the hotel to rest?"

Actually, Feng Nuo didn’t find the day particularly enjoyable either.

"Xiaohui, what do you think?"

"I’m tired. I want to go back to the hotel and rest early."

As soon as Feng Nuo heard He Qianhui say this, the anxiety in her heart subsided.

"Then let’s go back."

Both of them were of the sa mind, but the other two n seed to want to continue wandering outside.

He Qianhui didn’t give them that chance.

"It’s getting late, and we might need to go to the company tomorrow to discuss the next steps."

"We both need to go back and organize the company’s materials. Thank you very much for taking us out to relax today."

The two n didn’t expect He Qianhui to be so direct.

They wanted to drag the evening out a bit longer, but He Qianhui’s actions were very decisive.

She hailed a taxi on the street, shoved Feng Nuo in first, and then followed her in.

"We’ll go back first, otherwise we’ll end up sleeping very late tonight."

Seeing this, the two n could no longer insist.

But the more they were denied, the more they wanted to conquer these two won.

After getting in the car, Feng Nuo finally breathed a sigh of relief.

"Xiaohui, you really have a way with things. I could clearly feel that those two weren’t happy."

"What can be done about that? We’re not out here to do that kind of thing; we can’t just let them take advantage first."

"Although I’ve taught you before to use your gender advantage to create more room for maneuvering for yourself,"

"it’s definitely not for you to waste aimlessly, understand?"

Feng Nuo nodded, "It’s always good being with Xiaohui; I can always learn sothing useful."

"But are we really going to organize so materials when we get back?"

He Qianhui smiled, "We don’t need those materials, we got everything ready before we set off."

"I was just making up an excuse, otherwise do you think those two n would have let us go so easily? Impossible."

After returning to the hotel, both of them took showers one after another, used the hotel’s TV, and found a cody movie to watch.

Halfway through the movie they felt sleepy, and just as they were about to go to sleep, He Qianhui suddenly received a ssage from that stocky man.

"Miss He, co to my office at nine o’clock tomorrow morning, let’s talk about signing the contract."

She had thought that this man would be difficult to deal with.

Before coming, she had inquired about him and knew he was very picky. Getting him to willingly sign the contract would be extrely difficult.

Unexpectedly, she was very lucky this ti, and it didn’t take much talking.

He took the initiative to bring up signing the contract.

However, He Qianhui didn’t get too happy too soon.

There were still several hours until nine o’clock the next morning.

Who knows what could happen in the anti.

But Feng Nuo was very happy.

"If we can sign the contract successfully tomorrow, can we go back earlier?"

In her heart, He Qianhui thought the sa, as long as the contract was signed, they could go ho, there was no need to stay here so long.

"Let’s see how it goes tomorrow, if everything goes smoothly, we could pack up and go back in the afternoon," she said.

At the sa ti, Zhang Hao had just finished work and ca ho to find it cold and empty.

He wanted to give He Qianhui a call, but when he looked at the ti, it was already so late.

Thinking that she was on a business trip and coincidentally on her period, it must have not been easy for her.

After much consideration, he finally decided not to make the call.

If she was already asleep, waking her up because of a call would just disturb her rest.

He ate sothing at random, then went to his room to sleep.

But the phone by his pillow kept ding-donging non-stop.

Zhang Hao thought it was He Qianhui who sent the ssage and was overjoyed the mont he picked up his phone.

But upon seeing who sent the ssage, Zhang Hao’s heart plumted.

He Qianhui was always at the top of his ssages, but she hadn’t sent any.

The ssage was from Liang Yun, and it was a voice ssage.

"Doctor Zhang, have you rested? If not, could you please co over?"

"My cousin is feeling a bit unwell and needs you to co and have a look."

It was already after eleven at night, how could Zhang Hao not understand the implied aning behind Liang Yun’s ssage?

But he still patiently listened to a few more ssages before deciding to get out of bed and go have a look.

Just as Gu Yue had once said, Liang Yun was soone he had to deal with.

Considering his future career, he drove to Liang Yun’s house.

Only after getting inside did he learn that her husband was not ho today, it was just her and her younger cousin.

"I’m a bit embarrassed to bother Doctor Zhang so late," she said.

"But my little cousin suddenly felt unwell."

Zhang Hao could only pretend it was no issue and asked where the person was.

When they reached the second floor, Liang Yun walked in front, talking about her younger cousin.

Since her divorce, she has been living a much better life than before.

She was full of vigor, not ntioning her ex-husband at all.

And even if she ntioned him, it would be useless.

Seeing Liang Xi, he found her lying on the bed, looking half-dead.

Zhang Hao was genuinely startled at first glance.

He was worried whether she was truly feeling unwell, but as he approached her, he realized all her discomfort was an act.

"Doctor Zhang, please examine my little cousin first. I’ll go make a pot of tea for you," said Liang Yun.

Once Liang Yun left, the room was left with just Liang Xi and Zhang Hao.

Liang Xi opened her eyes, and the mont she saw Zhang Hao, she couldn’t hide the joy in her heart.
