Whether it was Zhang Hao or Han Yang, neither had any experience filming in front of a cara before.
During the first take of the promotional video, both of them were very reserved.
Even if they thought about relaxing, as soon as they stood in front of the cara,
their behavior and words were more or less unnatural.
They even started to speak in an affected tone.
The filming crew communicated with Zhang Hao and Han Yang once again.
"Doctors, please, when you’re in front of the cara, don’t carry such a heavy burden."
"You must appear very natural. Just pretend our cara doesn’t exist, can you do that?"
It wasn’t easy for the team of so many people to co and shoot a promotional video for their hospital.
Zhang Hao certainly didn’t want to cause trouble for their work.
But for the two of them to act as naturally as A-list stars on screen was sowhat difficult.
"How about we get a bit more accustod to it?" Zhang Hao asked.
"Sure, no problem. I’ll give you twenty more minutes. After that, let’s reshoot the content from earlier."
Twenty minutes to get accustod to their behavior in front of the cara,
were quite a challenge for Zhang Hao and Han Yang.
It was far more difficult than performing a surgery.
"Professionalism really matters. I’d rather the head of surgery call into the operating room to do three operations right now," Han Yang said.
Zhang Hao just wanted to hurry ho, and now there was an additional twenty-minute delay.
In order to get it right in one take, Zhang Hao decided to relax in front of the cara.
He didn’t care about the rest any longer.
The information about the hospital was already etched in his mory.
Because he let go of his self-consciousness, the recording turned out quite well this ti.
But Han Yang was less fortunate—during the second take, her stiffness had only improved slightly.
Her speech and movents were still sowhat rigid.
She could only plead with Zhang Hao for further assistance.
"Doctor Han, don’t overthink it in front of the cara."
"Just talk as you usually would. It’s not like this thing bites. Are you afraid if you make a mistake, it will swallow you whole?"
Han Yang knew full well that the cara didn’t bite, but the thought of herself being broadcast on a large screen at the entrance of the hospital in a few days made her extrely nervous.
After accompanying Han Yang for another half an hour, Zhang Hao finally managed to free himself.
By the ti he got ho, it was already dark.
Seeing him return, He Qianhui then poured the chopped vegetables into the wok to stir-fry.
"I didn’t know when you’d be back. I was worried the vegetables might cool down and wouldn’t taste good."
"Did you have an extra surgery added on, making you co back so late?"
Zhang Hao shook his head, "It wasn’t surgery. The hospital wanted to shoot a promotional video, and they pulled in at the last minute."
"Afterwards, they wouldn’t let go, insisting I help others complete the shoot. Ti was wasted going back and forth."
As He Qianhui stir-fried the vegetables in the wok, she laughed and said, "No wonder, I heard a woman talking over the phone. Was that Nurse Lin?"
"No," Zhang Hao answered succinctly.
"If it’s not Nurse Lin, then who?"
"Even if I told you, you wouldn’t know her. She must be new; I’m not very familiar with her either, she’s an anesthetist."
There were so many people in the hospital that it was impossible for He Qianhui to rember them all.
"Then you’d better take a break. Dinner will be ready soon."
"I’d rather take a shower first. I’m covered in sweat from the day."
Just as he stepped into the bathroom, Zhang Hao suddenly rembered sothing.
He had been so busy he was running in circles, and he had almost forgotten about the errand he promised He Qianhui last night.
After recalling it, he hurriedly grabbed his car keys and left.
Hearing the footsteps, He Qianhui quickly ca out of the kitchen.
"What are you going to do now?"
"It’s nothing, I’m going to the pharmacy; you start dinner, I’ll be back soon."
There was a Chinese dicine shop just downstairs, and Zhang Hao hurried over.
He wrote a prescription and had the shop assistant help him gather the dicines.
"Are you a doctor? Your prescription looks quite professional."
"You’ve got good eyes. Make sure to grab the best quality dicine, don’t skimp on ."
After the dicine was prepared, Zhang Hao personally checked everything to make sure there were no mistakes before packing it up.
Not sure if they had a clay pot at ho, Zhang Hao went out of his way to buy one, and the whole trip took nearly an hour.
When he returned ho, He Qianhui was sitting on the living room sofa watching TV.
The food on the dining table hadn’t gone cold but had cooled down nonetheless.
"Didn’t you say you would be back quickly? Look, you’ve been out for an hour."
"I went to get dicine for you. Eat your al, I’ll get the dicine brewing for you."
Realizing it was for her, He Qianhui’s grievances instantly vanished.
Since he went out especially for her, she had no reason to complain too much.
To make the dicine more palatable, Zhang Hao added so yellow rock sugar and hawthorn.
It tasted sweet and sour, not so bitter and hard to swallow.
During dinner, He Qianhui checked her phone, noticing people sighing in the work group chat.
The month was about to end, and the last three days were to tally the employees’ performance.
He Qianhui naturally wasn’t worried. Even if not first, she would definitely be among the top three.
As for the others, they were all trembling with fear, like walking on thin ice.
No one knew who would be last, and everyone was putting in extra effort, hoping to secure one more deal before the day of performance settlent arrived.
Zhang Hao saw the smile on He Qianhui’s face and grew curious about what she was reading.
"Are people gossiping in your work group again?"
"No, they are worried about not eting their performance targets, afraid of losing their job if they co out last."
So that was it.
"They should learn more from you. That way, they can keep their jobs, right?"
He Qianhui shook her head, "My advantage is gender, If so of my male colleagues wanted to be like ..."
"They would have to hope their clients are into n, but how many people are willing to reveal their sexual orientation?"
Upon hearing this, Zhang Hao suddenly rembered the surgery he perford during the day.
While nodding, he said, "You’re right about that, I went to surgery today for another procedure."
"The patient had his leg broken by soone."
"That’s so cruel, was it a fight?" He Qianhui frowned as she spoke.
"No. It’s because that man likes n, married a wife, and didn’t touch her for two years."
"He blad the reason they didn’t have children on her, and she, to conceal his secret, suffered in silence for many years."
"Until her cousin took her to the hospital for a check-up, and I casually asked when was the last ti they were intimate."
"Only then did she reveal that her husband had always liked n and only touched her once on their wedding night."
Upon hearing this, He Qianhui couldn’t help but shiver all over.
"That’s horrible, if that’s true, then the man deserves to be beaten."
"But I’m curious, even though he likes n, between two n there is also the active and the passive role. Which one is he?"
Zhang Hao shook his head; he really didn’t know that.
