Two female students ca to intern at the Traditional Chinese dicine departnt, one nad Ling Tong and the other nad Xu Mi.

One was twenty-two, the other twenty-three, both from out of town.

To Zhang Hao, this information was of little significance.

The most important thing about interning with him was whether their abilities were up to par.

There weren’t many patients in the morning, so Zhang Hao occasionally asked a few questions, allowing the two of them to answer in turn.

Spot quizzes helped to judge how well they rembered their textbook knowledge.

At first, the questions were very simple, the beginner level.

But as ti went on, the questions Zhang Hao asked beca more specialized, and the two interns stuttered in their responses.

Based on their performance, Zhang Hao roughly assessed their level.

"Decent academic grades, but professional knowledge is a complete ss."

The two interns hung their heads low, silent for a long while.

"To complete your internship smoothly here will be no small challenge."

Zhang Hao wasn’t just trying to scare them, working in the dical industry ant dealing with lives, it was not to be taken lightly.

In the afternoon, Zhao Qing had yet to show up, but Zhang Hao really needed a nurse who could handle things on her own.

Fortunately, a nurse from the surgical clinic was available to co over temporarily, which really helped Zhang Hao out of an urgent dilemma.

The nurse who ca to help was nad Liu Jiao, who had been working at the hospital for three years.

Zhang Hao hadn’t interacted much with this nurse during his ti in the surgical clinic, but his first impression was good.

"Doctor Zhang, where is Qing? Didn’t she co to work today?"

"I don’t know, maybe she’s not feeling well. Thank you for this ti."

Liu Jiao smiled, her eyes curving like the crescent moon, "It’s nothing, the number of patients in the hospital has increased recently, and your departnt only has her as a nurse, she must be exhausted."

Zhang Hao had a good idea of why she couldn’t co to work.

The afternoon was busier, and Liu Jiao was hustling about, non-stop. While Zhang Hao diagnosed patients, the two interns followed Liu Jiao to familiarize themselves with everything in the departnt.

After all, Liu Jiao was here on a temporary basis, and she would return to the surgical clinic once Zhao Qing ca back to work.

The two interns would have to stay here for several months or even a year, so getting acquainted with the clinic sooner would allow them to beco useful earlier.

Ling Tong and Xu Mi understood each other without speaking; the grilling they received from Mr. Zhang in the morning hit right at the vital points.

"Nurse Liu, what do you think about Mr. Zhang?"

Liu Jiao, who was preparing instrunts, didn’t expect the interns to ask this question and laughed while saying, "Mr. Zhang is quite nice. Has he bullied you?"

For the hospital, dical interns were treasures that should not be bullied carelessly.

Ling Tong shook her head, "No, that’s not it. It’s just that after the interaction this morning, Mr. Zhang seed rather aloof and difficult to approach."

Liu Jiao was puzzled by this and doubted it was the case.

"Maybe it’s because you’re not familiar yet, it should get better in a few days."

"How’s the preparation going in the treatnt room?" Zhang Hao’s voice ca from the next room.

"Almost ready, we can have the patient co in and get ready." Liu Jiao replied.

As soon as she finished speaking, a woman pushed the door open, and upon seeing three people in the treatnt room, looked surprised, then naturally lay down on the examination bed.

"You two wait here, I’ll go outside and take a look."

After giving a brief instruction, Liu Jiao turned and left.

"Mr. Zhang, is there anything else that needs to be prepared?" This was Liu Jiao’s first encounter with Traditional Chinese dicine, and she was still uncertain about what was to be done.

Zhang Hao put on his mask and said, "It’s about ti. I’ll go inside and take a look."

Upon arriving in the treatnt room, Zhang Hao first glanced at the patient’s dical records.

"Give the needle," Zhang Hao reached out his hand.

The first to react was Ling Tong, though Liu Jiao had already prepared the acupuncture needles. Ling Tong handed them over smoothly.

"A thinner one. This is a bit too thick," said Zhang Hao, looking at the needle.

As soon as the patient on the treatnt bed heard this, they curiously asked, "Isn’t a thicker one better? Won’t a thinner one be ineffective?"

"Thickness and length don’t make much of a difference," Zhang Hao replied.

"But the difference is huge. If it’s too thin and short, you won’t feel it. Thick and big is better."

The patient’s words suddenly made the atmosphere in the treatnt room extrely flirtatious.

"Patient, mind the impact!" Zhang Hao kindly reminded.

"Did I say sothing wrong? Doctor Zhang, are you married?"

While searching for the acupuncture points, Zhang Hao answered the patient’s question.

"Not at the mont."

"Doctor Zhang’s dical skills are impressive, and so is your personality and physique. There must be a lot of people chasing after you. Is it that your standards are too high?"

Zhang Hao sighed but didn’t reply directly. Glancing at the female patient’s chest and abdon, which looked like a hedgehog, he could tell how frail her body was.

"Bask under the lamp for twenty minutes. If it feels too hot, call for ."

Having adjusted the lamp, Zhang Hao turned and left to take care of the next patient.

In the treatnt room, the female patient was undergoing routine treatnt but felt bored.

"Are there other doctors in the Chinese dicine clinic?"

Ling Tong and Xu Mi exchanged glances: "Currently, Mr. Zhang is the only doctor in the Chinese dicine departnt. It seems there are no other doctors on staff."

After hearing this, the female patient exclaid, "So Doctor Zhang is the director! I didn’t realize you were so accomplished. So young and promising."

About twenty minutes later, Zhang Hao ca back in, turned off the heating lamp, and checked the treatnt conditions as if nothing had happened.

The female patient’s eyes followed Zhang Hao: "Director Zhang looks so serious and handso. If I were ten years younger, I would definitely pursue you."

With a smile, Zhang Hao took the patient’s words lightly and didn’t take them seriously.

"Co back in a week. We will arrange subsequent treatnts based on your recovery."

The female patient got up from the treatnt bed and straightened her clothes. "Mr. Zhang, could I ask a favor of you?"

Zhang Hao, who was packing up the instrunts, looked up at the patient: "What favor?"

"Could you help fasten my bra strap?"

For this kind of thing, wouldn’t it be better to ask soone of the sa gender? There were two female interns right here in the treatnt room.

"Let my two interns help you with that. I’m not really comfortable doing it."

Zhang Hao took the instrunts out, and as the two interns went forward to offer assistance, they saw the female patient had already managed it herself.

"What a wasted opportunity. No wonder you’re still single at your age," she muttered.

As the female patient stepped off the treatnt bed and turned around, she saw the two interns and said with a smile, "Your Director Zhang is quite the character. Tell him that if he keeps this up, he’s bound to remain a bachelor for life."

After Zhang Hao left, he passed the instrunts to Liu Jiao for sterilization and then took the chance to visit the restroom.

When he returned, seeing the two interns looking uneasy in the office, Zhang Hao curiously asked them what was wrong.

"Mr. Zhang, that female patient just now had a ssage she wanted to pass on to you."

Zhang Hao frowned slightly: "It’s not sothing nice, is it? I heard it all from outside."
