At the entrance of the police station, Lin Hai got out of the car with Yu Tianlin and a group of people, including the lawyers from the Youming Ya Group and Li Wannian.
If it weren't for Queen Qi's injury, she would probably wish she could dash into the police station right now and give Zhang Shenxu a beating to death.
Inside the cell, Ouyang Xiaoya was waiting patiently. That little gangster girl had been released, and she felt certain that Lin Hai would receive the news and co to find a way to get her out.
"Why won't you confess?" A shrill female voice sounded.
The policewoman Liu stood at the entrance of the cell with a frivolous smile, glaring at Ouyang Xiaoya.
"Heh, have you thought about the consequences of what you're doing?" Ouyang Xiaoya sneered back in response.
Policewoman Liu snorted and said, "You better think about your own situation first."
"I'll find a few male inmates later, then the formidable President Ouyang will probably beco the laughingstock of Huadu behind closed doors." Policewoman Liu's eyes flashed with a venomous look as she finished speaking.
Hearing this, Ouyang Xiaoya's pretty face turned pale, thinking of those filthy, sleazy-looking male inmates being locked up with her, and even possibly doing so indecent acts, she didn't dare continue the thought.
"Why would you do this? What good is it for you? How much money are they giving you? I can offer you tenfold, a hundredfold. I believe you should know who I am." Ouyang Xiaoya spoke again.
Policewoman Liu's mouth curled into a sneer. At this point, she could disregard anything but could absolutely not miss out on "Heaven." Everything she did was under the instruction of Zhang Shenxu. She didn't care about anything else, only hoping that Zhang Shenxu would reward her more pills of Heaven.
"At a ti like this, you're still thinking about survival, tsk, tsk, President Ouyang. It's said those inmates are quite perverted; you better prepare yourself ntally." Policewoman Liu's continual cold laughter was nauseating.
Ouyang Xiaoya's expression drastically changed, and she bit her red lips firmly, showing an unwavering determination on her face. She would rather die than let the other party succeed.
"Who's being so arrogant? Dare to touch my CEO?" A slightly arrogant and overbearing voice suddenly burst out.
Upon hearing this familiar voice, Ouyang Xiaoya's face lit up with hope.
Policewoman Liu frowned. This was a temporary holding cell; how could soone just barge in here?
She looked in the direction of the voice and saw Li Changfeng wearing an expression of anger and indifference, followed by a large group of people walking towards this place.
"Director Li..." Policewoman Liu imdiately beca flustered.
"Hmph, tell what's going on here? Why is President Ouyang locked up in a cell?" Li Changfeng's voice was authoritative, his expression brooked no contradiction, his eyes nearly spitting fire.
Just now, Lin Hai had kicked his office door open, pointed at his nose, and demanded to know why Ouyang Xiaoya was locked up and why he didn't say a word about it. Only then did he find out about the situation, imdiately becoming furiously enraged.
"I, this... I..." Policewoman Liu stamred, clearly not expecting Director Li to be aware of this matter.
"Hmph, release her imdiately!" Li Changfeng roared out.
"But Captain Zhang said..." Policewoman Liu hesitated. If she released Ouyang Xiaoya, Zhang Shenxu would surely "punish" her. That punishnt was extrely humiliating and painful, the thought of it was terrifying.
"Zhang Shenxu? Does his word carry more weight than mine now?" Li Changfeng postured, angrily said.
"But, Director Xiao personally said that this woman is a major suspect, the case is complex, it needs..."
"Who the hell needs that, release her imdiately! Xiao Selang that damn bastard!" Li Changfeng couldn't contain his anger, Lin Hai's words had made him quite uncomfortable. His soon-to-be sister-in-law was detained, and he, as the deputy director, was completely unaware.
At this mont, a lawyer stepped forward, pushed up his glasses, and spoke calmly, "We are the lawyers for Youming Ya Group. Even the police have no right to detain our CEO without a valid reason. Please release her imdiately. The lawyer's letter has already been delivered to your superior departnt."
Officer Liu broke into a cold sweat.
"I, I don't have the keys, the keys are with Captain Zhang." Officer Liu said awkwardly.
"Where the hell is Zhang Shenxu? Tell him to roll over here!" Li Changfeng roared.
"Captain Zhang is on a business trip..." Officer Liu said again.
"Damn it! Wait, I'll find soone to take this door down," Li Changfeng said furiously about to find soone to do it.
Lin Hai stopped him with a hand and shook his head, "Let do it."
After speaking, he took out a piece of wire, aid it at the lock core of the cell, and slid it in. Without anyone seeing clearly, there was a click, and the cell door opened.
"I had totally forgotten that Brother Hai, you were a jack of all trades back in the day," Li Changfeng said with an embarrassed smile.
Lin Hai waved his hand, stepped into the cell, walked towards Ouyang Xiaoya, and said, "CEO, are you alright?"
"Thank you, Lin Hai," Ouyang Xiaoya was genuinely grateful this ti.
Lin Hai blinked, stuck out his tongue, and whispered in her ear, "CEO, how did you end up as a fallen woman? Had I known, I would've saved a year's salary to patronize your business, hehe."
"Hmph, you beast, you'll get what's coming to you when we get ho," Ouyang Xiaoya retorted, not really angry, for this ti it was all thanks to Lin Hai.
Lin Hai coughed and said loudly, "Don't worry, CEO, this isn't over. Whoever dared to fra you, I'll make them bleed from their anus."
Ouyang Xiaoya couldn't help but laugh at Lin Hai's solemn yet humorous words.
"Let's go, CEO," Lin Hai said, helping Ouyang Xiaoya up, holding her delicate hand, and striding out of the cell boldly.
As they were leaving, Ouyang Xiaoya cast a cold glance back at Officer Liu.
Officer Liu wanted to speak up, but Lin Hai's voice, filled with icy murderous intent, rang in her ear, "Bitch, you will pay the price you deserve."
After leaving the police station, Li Changfeng kept apologizing to Lin Hai and Ouyang Xiaoya all the way.
Once in the car, Ouyang Xiaoya couldn't wait to leave this godforsaken place and ordered the driver to head back to the villa imdiately.
After exchanging a few pleasantries with Li Changfeng, Lin Hai also got into the car.
With Lin Hai's company, Ouyang Xiaoya returned to the villa, while Li Wannian and the group of lawyers started relentlessly demanding accountability and punishnt.
Inside the villa, after a nice hot shower and changing into a silk pajama set, Ouyang Xiaoya sat on the sofa, drying her damp hair, and looked at Lin Hai with a smile in her eyes.
"CEO, don't look at like that, it's making a bit embarrassed," Lin Hai blinked.
"Lin Hai, you did well this ti. I'm truly grateful to you. I've decided to promote you. The position of Deputy Head of Security is too small for you. How about Head of Finance?" Ouyang Xiaoya proposed earnestly.
