Wilbert without any delay rallied everyone to head to the storage room and grab a weapon.
Anthony and Richard also grabbed a weapon and followed.
Dexter knew he couldn’t just stay there so he also grabbed a weapon and left.
Staring at the large number of undead crawling at the steel gate was nerve wrecking.
They were all waiting, all the miners were positioned in an attacking position.
They all kept hearing banging sounds from the door, the dents on the door kept on getting larger and larger.
The tension was almost palpable as all the miners stared tensely at the door.
Dexter knew everyone was scared and kind of felt that this was all his fault, if he hadn’t shouted at that undead none of this could have happened, so he walked up to the front of the crowd and stared at everyone.
"Fellow miners, today we do not just fight to protect the base but we fight to defend our lives and the lives of future miners, we all have family mbers we want to see or et and I am sure you wouldn’t want to die here before you et them, so let’s us work together and courageously fight for our lives!!!" Dexter said.
"Yeah!!!!!!" Dexter speech got the crowd buzzing and they all began to chant out a war cry.
Bang, Bang, Bang
The door was then sent flying by the collective efforts of the undead.
Like a swarm of flies all the undead rushed towards the miners.
The miners at first had been courageous but looking at the swarm of undead they began to doubt themselves.
Dexter noticed this and imdiately shouted.
"Charge"
And he charged at the undead, the miner were imdiately invigorated by him and followed suit.
A bloody battle erupted, most miners lacked fighting skills and just hacked away at the undead but they were imdiately overwheld.
Surprisedly, Wilbert, Anthony and Richard seed to have so diocre skills as they were holding their own.
Dexter of course was the most skilled and at this mont he had already killed about twenty undead but they were to many and even he was starting to feel overwheld.
The guards at the base didn’t seem to have any intention of helping, instead they just asked for backup and hid in their control room.
Eva was in the comfort of her palace when she was inford that there was an ongoing attack in the mining planet.
Eva didn’t really care about anything on that planet but Dexter was there and she couldn’t allow him to die.
She imdiately went to fetch here space ship, gathered a few guards and went straight to the miner planet.
In a secret room in the palace, the king was in a conversation with his grandfather.
"Do you think they would be able to solve the problem of miners planet?" The king asked.
"I am not sure, but that Dexter guy is really interesting." The old man said with a grin.

Dexter and the miners at the mont were desperately hacking away at the undead and we’re trying to kill all of them, but the number was simply overwhelming.
Dexter had killed so many undead that his hands beca numb.
While they were in the midst of fight, Dexter noticed sothing strange, before it was only the undead Blue Sapiens that he was seeing, now he was seeing different types of creatures that he did not know.
"Where there more than blue sapiens on this planet?" Dexter thought to himself.
He didn’t have enough ti to think about it when he was attacked by an undead.

At this point the fight had reached a fever pitch.
Tens of miners had died but thousands of undead had also died and they were still coming, but the miners were running out of man power and needed help.
"You fucking guards, why don’t you co out and help us fight." Wilbert said.
The guards hesitated, the weren’t sure if they should head out or not, they didn’t want to die.
"There is no point in hiding, if you don’t fight you would die anyway." Wilbert knew that no one would be coming for them, if you were sent here it was almost the sa thing as been sent to your death.
Many people had died here in the past yet, they made no move whatsoever to evacuate people from the place, instead they forced them to keep on mining.
The guards who were still hesitant, stopped hesitating and plunged into the battle ground.
With the help of the guards it elevated the pressure that the remaining miners felt and they were able to push back against the undead.
But it did not last long as the numbers of the undead was to much and the miners who were getting the upper hand a mont ago were being pushed back.
Dexter at the mont did not look good, there was blood all over his body, he had lots of severe wounds and he was just using his willpower at the mont to keep him from collapsing.
Dexter didn’t know how many undead he had killed at this point, there were to many to count, his hands felt numb and he was starting to loose feeling in many parts of his body, but he didn’t give up and he held on.
An undead lunged at his shoulder tearing of the skin there, it was so deep you could see his bone yet Dexter didn’t even flinch and kept on fighting.
The attacks from the undead were relentless and Dexter could barely hold on, one undead then punched him in the gut and he was sent flying.
Dexter looked up at the crowd of undead running towards him and felt it was over.
He closed his eyes as he resigned to his fate.
Just when he believed everything had co to an end.
Boom
Dexter heard an explosion and managed to pry his eyes open, he looked and could vaguely make out a shadow in the mist of the explosion.
Then Dexter lost consciousness.
