Timothy didn’t expect to find out anything from the chief security, to begin with.
He had soone that he suspected.
But Timothy couldn’t confront them directly before he was certain of it.
Timothy was in deep thought, hanging his head low. He picked up his phone and wanted to call Wendy. Then, he thought for a while before he stood up and went to look for Wendy personally.
But he didn’t see Wendy when he went to her office.
He only found out that Wendy was in a eting after he asked around.
Timothy waited for Wendy to return to her office.
He waited for quite so ti. He finally saw Wendy ca back with a stack of docunts when it was finally about ti to get off work.
Wendy smiled when she saw Timothy waiting for her on the sofa. She asked, "Mr.
Woods, why are you here? Is there anything I can help you with?"
"Nothing. I just ca by to see you. I saw that you worked overti until late at night. Thank you for your hard work," Timothy said, smiling.
"You are the pillar of HG now. Please don’t fall sick."
"Don’t worry, Mr. Woods. I will take care of myself," Wendy said. She walked to her work desk and put the docunts down. She then pressed a button to call an internal line and commanded Zen, "Two cups of coffee, please."
"Oh yeah. How are you doing with Todd recently? I have been waiting to attend your wedding banquet?" Timothy asked, probingly.
Wendy pretty much understood what was going on when she heard what Timothy said.
It seed that he already checked the surveillance record.
Wendy responded in a bashful look, hanging her head low, "Mr. Woods, don’t make fun of ."
"You are already an adult. Why are you so shy? Oh yeah, was Todd with you the entire ti last night?" Timothy asked, smilingly but there was a hidden turbulent in his eyes.
"Yeah... He ca to pick up after work last night. Then, he keep company while I worked overti. Don’t you wish for the second series of the Moonlight project to be launch soon? I have been taking care of it recently. It can’t be completed if I don’t work overti."
"Thank you for your hard work. Wait till the second series is launched successfully, I will get the board of directors to give you a big reward," Timothy said, patting her shoulder. Then, he asked again, "Corrine, was Todd really with you the entire ti last night?"
Needless to say, Wendy naturally feigned suspicions when Timothy asked the sa question the second ti.
She revealed a puzzled look. She frowned, asking, "Yeah. What’s wrong, Mr.
Woods?"
Wendy looked at the surveillance cara and looked as though she recalled sothing. She asked bashfully and in fear, "Mr... Mr. Woods... You didn’t check the surveillance record in my office, did you..."
Timothy looked at how shy Wendy acted, avoiding eye contact.
Timothy’s main suspect wasn’t Wendy but Todd.
He ca to look for Wendy to find out Todd’s movent last night.
But according to what Wendy said, Todd was with her the entire ti the night before.
Wendy decided to strike first to gain the advantage, "Mr. Woods, this isn’t nice.
Although there is a surveillance cara in my office, you have never checked it. You also ntioned before that I am free in the office. I am also authorized to access the surveillance record in my office and no one can retrieve it as they wish."

"No, why would I suspect you guys?" Timothy laughed and tapped her on the shoulder. "I just want to know about the situation."
Before he figured out exactly the situation, Timothy did not dare to break his relationship with Wendy.
After all, HG now relied on her totally.
Also, it was the critical mont for the second phase of the Moonlight Project now.
"So, Timothy, what do you want to know about?" asked Wendy. "And what happened last night?"
"Well," Timothy looked down and sighed. "This is what happened. Soone entered my office last night. But there was a power failure, so the surveillance cara did not capture what happened. I think you were working all night yesterday at the company, so I would like to ask you if you saw or heard anything."
Wendy was about to say sothing when Zen walked in with two cups of coffee.
She put the coffee down in front of Wendy and Timothy and smiled, "Chairman, Miss Swift, please enjoy. And please call whenever you need anything."
Wendy nodded.
After Zen left the room, Wendy said, "Soone entered your office? Was it a thief?
Did you lose anything?"
Wendy said this deliberately. This was the common reaction of a normal person.
As expected, Timothy was always paying attention to Wendy’s expression. Seeing that she behaved normally, he shook his head, "I did not lose anything, but not many people can enter my office easily. Also, I don’t believe it was a coincidence there was a power failure last night."

Timothy dared not irritate Wendy now.
Also, it was not she that he suspected.
Wendy should not know what he did; it was Todd who knew about his affairs.
But he was not sure if Todd told Wendy about his affairs.
Before he made sure of the situation, of course, he should not bla Wendy for what happened to him.
"There are many important materials in my office. But of course, I will tell you everything you want to know about HG. So, I really do not suspect you," explained Timothy. "It was just that you and Todd were together last night and stayed in the company till very late."
"So, are you suspecting Todd?" Wendy blinked and asked.
"I am not doubting." Timothy was well aware that Wendy was on very good terms with Todd, so he could not speak too harshly.
He thought for a while with his head down. He tried his best to sound gentle, "I just have no clue and want to ask you, Corrine, please do not overthink. You are now the pillar of HG; why would I suspect you guys!"
"If that is what you an, why did you ask those things just now?" Wendy was still relentless on purpose. It was expected to be a little angry when soone was wronged.
"Please promise that you will not get angry. Otherwise, I do not dare to tell you," Timothy said. "If you mind, I will stop talking to you about this."
Wendy took a deep breath and nodded, "I will not get angry; please go ahead."
"I saw the surveillance video of last night. There were two power failures in total.
When the second power failure took place, you and Todd were not in the office."
Timothy asked, "Where did you go at that ti?"
Wendy and Todd already predicted that Timothy would be suspicious about that point last night, so they had already prepared the explanation.
Wendy said, "We thought about going back when there was a power failure because nobody knew how long the power would stay off at midnight. But we did not expect that the power would co back on after a short while. Then, I thought about the work I had not finished, so I went back to work. But the power failed for a second ti. Then, you know what happened after that through the surveillance video, don’t you?"
There were loopholes in Wendy’s answer.
The surveillance stopped because of the power failure. But the lights should have co on in the corridor after the power had turned on again. Also, Wendy should have been seen in the surveillance video after she returned to work.
Naturally, Timothy did not neglect this loophole.
But of course, Wendy and Todd had already thought about it and deliberately allowed Timothy to detect the loophole.
As expected, Timothy asked, "But I did not see you co back in the surveillance video."

From her anger at the beginning to her embarrassnt in the end when she had to tell the truth.
Everything was reasonable and fair.

And it was Todd who knew his secret affairs that nobody else knew.
Could it be only a coincidence?
Timothy lowered his head down and thought carefully.

He could only talk to Todd privately.
Todd happened to call Wendy at that mont.
"Will you work overti tonight? Or shall I pick you up after work?" asked Todd.
Wendy deliberately glanced at Timothy furiously, "I will not work overti. Why should I work overti? There is no favorable result from working overti, and I am suspected. I will not work overti anymore in the future!"
