424 POISON AND DARK MAGIC
“Can you get rid of the baby?” Liam asked Ariana, his voice eerily calm right now. He showed the cold side of him.
At this point, there was a tacit understanding between them that the baby in Jasmine’s stomach was not the alpha’s, because the ti didn’t match at all and there was no way Jasmine could conceive during the ti Liam was away.
Not to ntion the rumor of the Luna’s affair with the guard that was supposed to protect her. That really didn’t help at all.
If soone else knew about this, Liam would be ridiculed. They wouldn’t do it right in his face, but they would definitely do it in their minds and the thought of it alone was sothing that Liam couldn’t bear.
He was the alpha, but his mate was fucked by his man, how stupid did that sound?
“I can,” Ariana replied, she could do that. They were about to abort the pregnancy anyway, but Jasmine backed down at the last minute saying she wanted to think about this matter thoroughly. “But, we need to wait until Luna is in better condition.”
Liam clenched his jaw and then nodded stiffly.
“Take care of her and let know once she wakes up.” Liam turned around and then walked out of the room.
That bastard! That man had humiliated him before he died! He left sothing behind and Liam regretted that he didn’t torture him first and let him watch how he would get rid of his child from Jasmine’s stomach.

There was a hollow that Jasmine felt the mont she woke up. She didn’t imdiately open her eyes, because even without doing that, she knew where she was as the sll of disinfectant was pretty strong here.
There was soone else in this room. Ariana? Emily?
The two of them seed to be often in this place, especially since the little girl took an interest in dicine and herbs and Ariana was generous enough to teach her about it all.
And then, there was the cracking sound of the door, soone else ca into this room and greeted the first person in there.
“You are here so early,” Ariana said, as she put down sothing on the table. So, it was Emily, who was in the room. “Have you had your breakfast?”
“Not yet,” Emily said. “I am waiting for Eros, he was called to the alpha’s office.”
The ntion of ‘alpha’ made Jasmine clench her fists. She rembered what had happened and what the cause was for her to end up here. She rembered that vividly.
“I will help you to put on the ointnt.” Ariana approached Emily, who was sitting on the chair near the bed.
It seed the little girl was trying to put the dicine on her scars.
It was unfortunate for her to have such scars, but when you were close to danger, you were prone to get hurt, right? It was sothing that you couldn’t avoid.
For a mont, none of them talked, but then when Ariana was done applying the ointnt on her scars, Emily spoke very softly.
“It doesn’t work,” she said. She didn’t try to hide the pain in her voice. She glanced at Jasmine, who still had her eyes closed.
Her body was full of scars, but it would only take her a few weeks before all of those scars healed, but hers, no one knew how long it would take for her scars to heal, or if that even possible at all.
Ariana didn’t reply imdiately to what Emily said, but then she comforted her. “Let’s find another way, shall we? Because your scars are associated with dark magic, why don’t we start to learn about it first? Maybe we can co up with sothing.”
“Dark magic?” Emily asked. “Isn’t that bad?”
“There is nothing pure bad or pure good, there will be a scale for that. Even if you mix dicinal herbs recklessly, it can be a poison to soone who consud it.” Ariana patted her shoulder and smiled softly at her, encouraging this young girl to not stop trying.
She was smart with dicinal herbs and absorbed all the knowledge like a sponge.
And after that, the two of them changed Jasmine’s bandages, but she still refused to open her eyes and let them know that she had woken up.
Instead, Jasmine fell asleep again, because she hadn’t yet gathered enough energy to face reality. She wanted to escape this life...

“Where are we going?” Emily asked Ariana worriedly because she had never been in this part of the pack house before. The air was humid and the sll in this place was unpleasant.
It was weird, knowing that the werewolves had sensitive senses, but this place slled like rotten fish.
“I want you to know this,” Ariana said calmly. She glanced at Emily, who was walking beside her closely, it was apparent that she was afraid. “Don’t be afraid, the alpha has given his permission for you to help with this.”
Emily didn’t feel her worries lessen even a bit with the ntion of Alpha, if anything, she beca even more suspicious that there was sothing wrong happening here.
“Help you with what, Ariana?” Emily just finished her breakfast with Eros when Ariana ca to find her. There was nothing weird about that, because she planned to spend her day with her, since Ariana wanted to teach her about poison and dark magic, but why were they here? “Ariana, you can tell , this place is creepy.”
Ariana chuckled and it echoed throughout the corridor, making Emily flinch. “Don’t do that, I feel like there is a ghost here.”
“Oh, I am sorry,” Ariana laughed lightly. “But, it is a little bit hard to explain, so I need you to see it by yourself.”
“You want to show sothing to ?” Emily and Ariana stopped in front of a door and the foul sll only got stronger.
