After hearing Zane’s words, lissa got nervous. She asked in concern, "What happened to Mr. Marc?"
"Mr. Marc’s condition is troubleso. We are carrying out ergency treatnt. We can only stabilise his condition and wait for you to co over to take a look," Zane said anxiously.
"Alright, I’ll be right there." lissa hung up the phone and rushed to the hospital.
On the way, she called Murray. He had turned his phone off.
Murray was probably on the plane.
lissa rushed to the hospital. When she arrived at the operating room, she saw Sarah and Claire standing at the entrance.
The red light of the operating room was still on.
Claire and Sarah stood there in bright and beautiful clothes. They were talking about which beauty salon was the best.
Those who did not know them would think they were passers-by.
lissa’s eyes turned cold.
When Claire saw lissa, she imdiately glared at lissa angrily. "lissa, you are so shaless. How dare you show up here? You’d better go away. Grandpa is still being rescued. If he knew about your scandal, he would definitely die from anger."
"You’re not welco. Go away," Sarah snorted.
lissa was worried about Marc and did not want to talk with them.
"Get out of my way!" she said coldly.
"lissa, what are you going to do?" When Claire and Sarah saw that lissa wanted to enter the operating room, they looked at each other and blocked lissa in front of the door.
"Get out of the way!" lissa narrowed her eyes aggressively.
Claire rembered how she had been slapped twice by lissa the day before. She still felt a faint pain. Therefore, she beca furious.
She pointed at lissa and scolded her loudly, "lissa, what do you an? Here is the operating room. Grandpa is being rescued inside. You are an outsider. What do you want to do?
"Do you think what you have done is not harmful enough to Grandpa? Do you want to play more tricks to kill him?
"Claire is right. You are shaless. Go away." Sarah and Claire worked together to stop lissa.
"Shut up!" lissa gave Sarah a cold and threatening look.
When she was about to pull the two noisy and annoying won away, the door of the operating room opened. Zane hurried out.
"Dr. White, how is Mr. Marc?" lissa asked.
"His condition is stable, but he may have a relapse at any ti. Co in with and take a look." Zane took off the mask on his face. His face was covered in sweat. It was obvious that Marc’s condition was intractable.
"I see," lissa said calmly and was about to follow Zane in.
Sarah stopped lissa. "Dr. White, what do you an? lissa is not a doctor. You allow her to go in. What if sothing happens to Mr. Marc? Can you take the responsibility?"
"We can’t cure Mr. Marc with our dical skills. Ms. Eugen has excellent dical skills. I think she can help us, so I told her to co." Zane frowned with displeasure.
lissa was Luca’s student. She had treated Marc before, and Marc had recovered a lot.
Everyone had witnessed lissa’s dical skills.
Sarah and Claire knew that. Why did they keep trying to stop her?
Any other family mbers would hope lissa to have a try.
However, Sarah and Claire tried their best to stop lissa.
"If you stop and delay the treatnt of Mr. Marc, sothing unexpected might happen. Murray will know everything when he cos back. What do you think he will do?
"Have you done sothing guilty? Why don’t you want to save Mr. Marc?"
lissa got closer and closer to the two of them. Her gloomy eyes road over them as if she could see them through.
Her gaze made Claire and Sarah shudder.
Claire supported Sarah and raised her chin, pretending to be calm. "If you can’t cure Grandpa or anything happens, Murray will never let you off."
"Don’t worry. It won’t happen." lissa stopped talking to them and turned to walk into the operating room with Zane.
After changing into a surgical gown, lissa walked to the operating table.
Marc was lying on the operating table unconsciously. When lissa saw that, her heart skipped a beat.
Marc had recovered a lot since lissa treated him.
Why did he have a relapse?
lissa felt sad.
She should be responsible for Marc’s illness.
"Ms. Eugen, how is Mr. Marc?"
Zane’s question brought lissa back to her senses.
lissa ca to her senses. She was in a mask, and her clear eyes were attentive and calm. "Dr. White, please do what I tell you."
"Ms. Eugen, you may rest assured. All the doctors and nurses here will do as you say," Zane replied respectfully.
The person lying in front of them was Marc, a heavyweight. If sothing happened to him, they would lose their jobs.
Zane admired lissa’s dical skills.
He believed that lissa could cure Marc.
lissa lifted Marc’s eyelids to see if there was anything wrong. She checked whether there was sothing in his mouth. Then, she was relieved.
"The scalpel," lissa said in a deep voice and reached out to Zane.
Zane quickly handed the scalpel to her.
lissa held the scalpel and cut Marc’s wrist without hesitation.
Blood oozed out of the wound.
Other doctors looked at each other, and soone exclaid, "Ms. Eugen, what are you doing? The patient is unconscious, but you make him bleed. You will kill him by doing that."
lissa looked at Zane expressionlessly and said peacefully, "Dr. White, I don’t want anyone to disturb during the operation."
"Dr. Berger, don’t talk. What we need to do is to cooperate with Ms. Eugen. I can guarantee her dical skills." Zane’s words were convincing.
Everyone present imdiately fell silent.
However, so of them were not convinced.
They were well-known doctors with more than ten years of experience and had studied abroad at famous dical schools. Otherwise, they would not be qualified to treat Marc.
However, they had to be instructed by an unknown little girl.
Due to Zane’s high status, they could only obey him.
They hoped that lissa would not kill Marc. Otherwise, all of them would be blad for that.
"I will start to treat him," lissa said coldly to Zane.
"Yes, please, Ms. Eugen," Zane said respectfully.
lissa carried out her treatnt. And the blood oozing out from Marc’s wrist turned dark red.
"Has he been poisoned?" Landyn Berger could not help but exclaim.
