A cold and arrogant voice ca from behind, and lissa stopped.
She turned around and saw that the man on the bed had already woken up. He frowned and compressed his lips, firmly staring at lissa.
lissa smiled and explained, "Sir, you just had a car accident. I was the one who sent you to the hospital."
Hearing this, the man narrowed his eyes and asked, "Is it true?"
lissa nodded. "Don’t worry. The doctor has already given you a detailed examination. There is nothing serious. You can ask your family mbers to co and accompany you."
lissa raised her hand to look at her watch and continued, "It’s already very late. If there’s nothing else, I’ll leave now. Have a good rest."
lissa then turned around and left.
The man stared at lissa’s back firmly with his dark eyes, and then curled his lips and smiled.
He rembered her na, lissa.
The man believed they would et soon.
The next day was the weekend.
lissa woke up early in the morning.
After two days, she had to go to the hospital to perform a special treatnt on Marc.
lissa was a little nervous. After all, it was sohow risky. Moreover, the patient was Marc. She could not afford to fail it.
Therefore, lissa took out the dicine box that Luca had left for her, as well as the relevant dical files, and began to study it carefully.
Recalling how Luca perford the acupuncture on Marc in the hospital that day, lissa tested her body a few tis and was soon able to find the right place to conduct the treatnt successfully.
She was relieved a lot and beca confident about it.
lissa practiced a few more tis, then packed up the things. She looked at the ti and found it was still early. So she decided to go shopping and buy a birthday present for Jaylin.
lissa went to an accessory shop.
"Miss, can I help you?" the waitress welcod her warmly.
"No, thanks. I can help myself." lissa smiled thinly.
The waitress nodded politely. "If you need , please let know at any ti."
lissa smiled and said, "Alright, thank you!"
At that mont, the door was opened and a young lady in a white dress walked in, who was elegant and beautiful.
She passed by lissa and her unfriendly gaze lingered on lissa for a few seconds.
lissa looked up at her.
The lady seed to be a little familiar.
She seed to be the well-known pianist recently, Anaya.
"Ms. Knowles, what can I do for you?" the waitress also recognized Anaya and greeted Anaya politely.
Anaya looked away from lissa and replied indifferently, "Give that scarf."
Seeing that Anaya no longer stared at her, lissa did not care about it and continued to choose gifts for Jaylin.
In the end, lissa picked up a tie and asked, "Please show this tie."
At that mont, Adela and Julie passed by the shop.
"Adela, isn’t it lissa?" Julie suddenly saw lissa inside and imdiately paused.
Adela looked inside and found it was indeed lissa.
"What is she doing here?" Adela narrowed her eyes and asked differently.
"She may be buying sothing," Julie replied.
"Let’s go in and take a look," Adela snorted.
In the past, lissa, Murray’s fiancée, relied on Murray’s support and was always arrogant. lissa did not take Adela seriously many tis.
Now, she was abandoned by Murray. lissa was nobody but an annoying girl from the countryside. lissa had nothing to be proud of and Adela was no longer afraid of her.
Adela walked in front of lissa in high heels with Julie. She pointed at the tie in lissa’s hands and said, "I’ll buy it!"
lissa heard it and raised her head. She saw Adela and Julie standing in front of her arrogantly.
The waitress looked at Adela in embarrassnt and said carefully, "Ms. Yale, this tie has been bought by the young lady."
"I’ll pay double!" Adela gave lissa a fierce glare.
The Ailsa dress that Adela picked up in the Red store had been bought by lissa. Adela was always mad about it.
Now that lissa no longer had Murray backing her up, she would not be qualified to compete with her!
Today, she decided to take revenge on lissa!
"Well..." the waitress looked at lissa with pleading eyes, "would you please pick up another one?"
An ordinary waitress like her could not afford to offend the Yale family’s young miss.
lissa glanced at Adela indifferently. "Help yourself. Anyway, I don’t like it."
lissa then didn’t pay any attention to Adela and pointed to another tie. She said to the waitress, "Take that one for , please."
"I want that one, too. Wrap it up for !" Adela said imdiately and tried to annoy lissa.
lissa frowned. Was Adela challenging her?
lissa was not in the mood to argue with Adela. Since Adela had co in on purpose, lissa decided to teach her a lesson and by the way, waste her money.
lissa pointed to the most expensive tie and said to the waitress with a smile, "Please show this one."
"I want them all. I want all that lissa wants!" Adela looked at lissa arrogantly and put on a complacent smile.
lissa smiled thinly and pointed randomly in the shop. "This one, please... I’d like to buy everything in the shop."
"Wrap them all up for !" Adela raised her eyebrows and said proudly.
Julie pulled Adela’s hand and said gently, "Adela, lissa is annoying you on purpose. Don’t be fooled."
"So what? Can’t I afford them?" Adela glared at Julie unhappily.
The Yale family was so rich that Adela had plenty of money to spend. As long as lissa could not buy anything and returned empty-handed, the money is not a big deal for Adela. She was happy about it!
lissa glanced at Adela as if she was looking at an idiot. lissa did not want to waste any more ti with them, so she turned around and walked toward the door.
"lissa, are you leaving?" Julie stepped forward and stopped lissa.
lissa frowned and said indifferently, "Get out of the way!"
"I’m warning you. Stop chasing after Jaylin!" Julie couldn’t hide the jealousy in her eyes.
Recently, the affair between lissa and Jaylin had been a hot topic in the showbiz.
Julie was even more jealous, when she found that lissa was living in Jaylin’s apartnt in the Eastern Garden.
lissa was just a girl from the countryside who was abandoned by Murray. How could she hook up with Jaylin?!
When Anaya, who was standing beside them, heard the word "Jaylin," she suddenly raised her head and stared at lissa. She could not conceal her jealousy from her beautiful eyes either, just like Julie.
